I flew over Republic City and noticed an island off the coast. I wondered what the island was for and reached the shore. I landed and hid when I noticed someone coming. I was about to run but felt too tired from flying. 

'What can I do? If I were back home, I'd probably have some shawarma,' I thought feeling my stomach growl. I sighed as I sat down and ate some shawarma inside a container in my bag.

I ate happily not knowing that someone had noticed me. The minute I finished and was sipping water, I saw a teenage boy with brown hair, brown skin, and green eyes wearing royal clothing except for a crown.

" Hey there," said the boy in a cheerful tone. I choked on my drink causing the boy to back away a bit. " Sorry, I'm Prince Wu by the way," said the boy as he stretched his hand towards me. " I'm Romana, but you can call me Amira," I said as  I finally caught my breath.

" Wow, you have such lovely wings, wanna go out sometime," said the boy. I looked at him and walked away making the boy pout. 

That night, I was looking at the stars and feeling the wind in my hair. I was about to get down from the roof I was sitting on when I heard a voice speak below me. I looked down and saw a woman, a man with a bald head and arrow tattoos, and a woman whom I heard from Suyin her half-sister named Lin.

" Merhaban," I said as I waved to them. Suddenly they all started to look at me as if I were crazy. 

" What's wrong?" I asked as I  raised an eyebrow. " What the heck are you doing up there kid?" said Lin. " I'm 20. Also, I was just resting before I heard someone talk was it you," I said as I pointed at the man in the room. The man nodded and stopped in his tracks seeing my large wings. " What is that?" he asked. " Oh these, they're my wings. I guess Suyin forgot to mention she had a cranky sister huh?" I said with a chuckle leaving the room in pin-drop silence. 

I explained to them everything about the past few days, how I had met Kuvira, her fiance, and had escaped from her.

They looked at me with a look of pity and told me that I could stay with them as long as I wanted. I nodded and entered the room bringing my bag with me.
