Lyra's POV:
We were being deployed on Acheron today. After yesterday with Blaze and Tina, mostly everyone was silent. We all stood in the docking bay. "Is everyone ready? We'll be splitting up again. I don't care how you all split up, just do it." Tina said as we boarded the drop ship. The ship took us to the foggy planet that laid below the Covenant. As we landed there was a large building in front of us. Tina led the way while Billy and Roxy were on my sides. Blaze was behind me and Blue walked with Tina. Blue held a machine in his hand that scanned movement around us. The beeping got faster and he said "there's two lifeforms around us." I walked ahead and saw a child scamper by. My eyes widened and Tina said "what is it?" "It was a kid." I replied. Another one scampered by and I gasped. "And another one." I said. Blue stepped forward and said "we need to go after them. Lyra go get them." I followed them into the air ducts. As I did, they tried to close me out but I pushed the grate open. I managed to grab one of the children. I grabbed their ankle and she screamed. She swung at me and I said "woah! Easy! I'm not going to hurt you." The girl swung at me again and the other child appeared. He grabbed the girl's hand and managed to pull her away from me. They ran off again into a dead end. The girl hid behind a post in the room. "I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to help you." I said. "Lies." The girl said.

"We came here to check on all the people here. Where is everyone?" I asked. The girl looked down, not answering me. The boy said "are you really here to help us?" He looked around nervously and didn't make eye contact with me. "Yes. I'm here to help you. I can bring you back to a ship that has food and water. You'll be safe if you come with me." I said, trying to make the kids feel at ease.

The boy crawled toward me and I said "you want to tell me you're names?" "Hawk." He whispered. "Hello Hawk." I replied. He half smiled and said "that's my sister Halo." I looked at the girl and she backed to the wall, terrified. "The both of you need to come with me." I said. The brother and sister were dirty as can be and looked like they hadn't had anything to eat in a long time. I began to crawl out of the ventilation system and they followed me. Hawk looked up at Billy and Tina. He crawled out of the vent and immediately hid behind me. Halo hid behind me and she gripped my arm. "Hawk and Halo." I said as I gestured to the two of them. Tina nodded and said "we need to keep going." Roxy began to lead the way and Blaze looked down at the two children. I waited for everyone to walk ahead of me and I said "follow me ok? Just stay close." Both of them nodded and Halo continued to grip my arm as we walked through the colony building. Hawk stayed behind me but he was scared. I could tell. Billy was in front of me and he said "oh shit." "What?" I asked. Blaze stood next to him and he said "I don't know where they went." There were two different hallways and I sighed. "Fuck." Billy said as he leaned against the wall. "We should stay here. In case they come back." I said. Blaze nodded and ran a hand through his hair.

Roxy's POV:
I looked around and realized I was alone. "Damn." I muttered. I heard a gun going off and then an explosion. My feet took me to the sounds and I walked into a room where one man stood, shooting Xenomorphs. A beeping sound was heard and he grabbed me. An explosion went off and I looked around to hear more hissing. I took out my weapon that I made myself. It glowed blue and I held it above my head. A xenomorph came close to my stick. He hissed and I held it close to his head, about to cut it off.

I sliced it's head off and began killing the remaining ones in the room. I blew my hair out of my face and the man on the ground stared at me. "What? Never seen a girl kick ass before?" I asked him with a chuckle. He didn't say anything. I heard a hissing sound and I quickly looked up. A xenomorph sat above me. The man shot it, it's head exploding as he did so.

I moved out of the way and a gasp left my mouth. He panted and laid on his back. "Shit!" I heard Blue yell. "Are you ok?" The man asked me. I looked at him skeptically. "Yeah." He nodded and I said "follow me." I stuck my hand out and he looked at it and then quickly took it. I pulled him to his feet and we began to run through the halls.

I followed the sound of Blue's mini gun and I dodged a xenomorph that jumped at me. The man behind me rolled out of the way and he yelped. "Blue!" I said. I began to shoot them with my gun and he turned around. His eyes widened at the man that was with me. "Jax?" He asked. The man, who I was assuming was Jax, stared at Blue. "Blue?" He replied. "Oh my god." Blue said as he ran toward Jax who did the same. They hugged one another and I was in shock. "Um....is anyone going to explain?"

Blue pulled away and said "this is my boyfriend. Jax. I haven't seen him in a long time." I nodded and said "we need to get out of here. Quickly." The three of us began to run through the halls. "Fucking shoot it!" Lyra yelled. Guns went off and squealing was heard. As we made it to where they were, Lyra was shooting the ones on the ceiling while Billy and Blaze shot them coming towards them. "We gotta go!" I said. Blaze began to run and Lyra went after him, with the two kids behind her. Billy went behind them and I followed him. Jax stopped and I said "what're you doing?!" He threw something and said "everybody down!" Everyone dropped to the ground as a boom went off, glass and debris going everywhere. The kids screamed and Blue stood up and said "yes!" "Did you see that?! Did you see that?!" Jax asked, astounded at what he had just done. Blue smiled really big and said "I saw it." The two of them were literally meant to be together. No lie.

We all began to run to the dropship where Tina was holding them off. "Come on!" She said. As we made it onto the ship Tina closed the door. She panted and we began heading back to the Covenant. We all sat in the docking bay. Tina looked at all of us and said "today went well. It could've gone a lot worse. We have a new soldier and now there's three kids on the ship." "Four. There's four. My brother Zane is here as well." Arlo said. Billy pushed his hair out of his face and Tina said "Billy I'm sorry for what I did to Max." He didn't say anything and she looked at the two children. "Take then to the med bay. So they can get cleaned up." She said to Lyra who did as she was told. "What's your name?" Tina asked Jax. "I'm Jax. Jax Upworth." He replied. Tina half smiled and said "welcome to the Covenant."
