Lyra's POV:
The man in the cloak led us to a large building. "It's safe here. You all can make yourselves at home." He said. "Who are you?" Tina asked. The man took the cloak off his head and said "I'm David." Walter's eyes widened and David stared him down. I stood in place, not wanting to move. Blaze sat down and sighed. "Sit down." He said. I shook my head and Billy lit up a cigarette. He stared in the reflection of the mirror that sat in the building.

Roxy sat down on the ground, looking up at everything. Jax leaned against the wall and said "what are these plants?" David turned around and looked at them. "They're a special plant. They have something inside them that'll kill you. Be sure not to step on them. Or get near them. The spores inside will devour you." David whispered the last part. Zander scoffed and said "great. Killer plants." Chase wiped his face and Kace stared at the ground. "That thing. It just burst out of his body, out of his mouth. How can that even happen? I thought there were only Chestbursters." Kace said. "It was a Neomorph. They're not born from the chest of their host. It's always in weird places on the body that they're born in. Preferably the mouth." Walter said. Kace groaned and Tina said "we can't lose anyone else. Everyone stay close." "Lyra." Blaze said. I looked down at him and he winked. "Why are you winking?" I asked.

He patted the ground next to him and I sat down. Billy continued to stare at himself in the mirror on the wall. I yawned and Blaze pulled me on his shoulder. Billy sat down next to me and cleared his throat. I looked him and he snapped his fingers, pointing to himself. I sighed and laid on his chest and Blaze said "wow." David disappeared somewhere with Walter following him. Katarina looked at Tina and said "I'm gonna go look around." "Ok." Tina replied. Arlo looked out beyond the building and saw that it was raining even harder. "We'll never make it back to the ship. You know that we won't." He said. Billy eyed him and said "knock it off." Blaze put his head in my lap and I played with his hair. Tina grabbed the radio she had and said "I'm going to try and contact the Covenant. Someone will be able to get us back. Sam will bring a ship and drive us back." "Why doesn't he just bring the Covenant?" Chase asked. Tina sighed and said "I don't think he can. The storm is probably too bad." Everyone's mood changed and Zander said "so now we have to wait." "We we're waiting already." His brother replied. Zander looked at Chase and said "no. We weren't waiting. We're sitting in a building with some fucking android named David. And nobody knows anything about him. We should've never came down to this planet. Fucking aliens are everywhere." "Don't forget the spores." Blaze replied. Zander eyed him and Tina said "Zander go see if there's any food around here. Take Lyra with you." "Why me?" I asked. "Just go." Tina replied, not giving me an answer on why I should go. I huffed as I stood up. Zander and I walked down a hall. The both of us were silent, not talking to one another. We reached a room that had plants in it. "Are those the bad ones?" I asked. Zander went to walk toward them and I grabbed his arm and said "don't. If you step on them? The spores will come out." Zander nodded and stepped back. "Please don't mess with them." I said. Zander walked away from them. There were vines growing on the walls. "Oh my god." I said as I looked up at all of them. There was a chittering noise and I saw it. I gasped and in front of me stood a Neomorph. Zander looked over and said "what?" "Zander. There's a fucking Neomorph standing in front of me." I whisper yelled.

I saw the green laser from his gun, go on the Neomorph's head. "Step back. Slowly." Zander said. I did as I was told, taking tiny steps back away from the Neomorph. The glowing white alien growled softly as it stared me down. Zander shot it and David screamed. I turned around and he stared at the dead alien on the ground. "I could've trained him." David said. I shook my head and Zander grabbed my arm. "David, it's a fucking alien. You can't tame a killer." Zander said. David pushed his hair out of his face and said "you can." He stepped toward me and Zander shoved me behind him. I clutched his arm and David said "there's no reason to be frightened. No reason at all." Walter walked into the room and David faced him. The two robots began staring each other down. "Go with the others." Walter said.

Zander didn't even think twice. He pulled me out of the room, putting his arm around me protectively. As we came back into the main room, Tina was gathering her stuff. "Where the fuck is David?!" Tina yelled as she walked down a hall. Billy stood up and said "get off her." Zander pulled his arm off of me and I said "Billy, he was protecting me. There was a Neomorph. And David was acting weird so he got me out of there." "There was a Neomorph? Where?" Kace asked. "It's dead. I killed it. And David got angry. He started acting really fucking weird." Zander replied. Hissing was heard and Jax pulled Blue towards the exit of the building. Blue looked up as Xenomorphs came out of a back room, using the ceiling to jump in front of us.

"Everyone go!" Roxy said. Tina came running out of the hall and she said "Sam's on the way. We need to get outside." Kace shot a Xenomorph, Arlo doing the same. Billy grabbed his gun and shot one to my right. Blaze stood up and said "come on." He pulled me to the exit and Billy was right behind me. We waited outside for the ship to come. Tina threw a beacon and it beeped. Blaze and Billy stood on either side of me, blocking me from anything that could kill me. Kace panted and he said "where the fuck is he?!" "There!" Tina said. Sam landed the ship as quick as has could and there was a stomping sound. I turned around to see the biggest Xenomorph I ever saw. It roared and Arlo's eyed widened. "Holy shit!" Chase screamed as he ran towards the ship. David came running out of the building. Everyone began to get on the ship. A Xenomorph jumped on the ship and Tina said "I'll get him." The large Xenomorph hit the ship with it's hand, causing the ship to crash down. "Hurry!" I said. Billy held me close to him and the ship began to shake. Tina stood on the ship and shot at the Xenomorph. It hissed at her and tried to grab her. All it did was sit on the roof, taunting her.

"Fucking get him!" Blaze said. The Xenomorph heard him and looked over in our direction. It got on top of the glass above us. "Hey!" Tina said as she tried to distract it. Billy aimed his gun at the glass and Chase said "no! Don't shoot!" The Xenomorph began bashing it's head against the glass. I screamed and Blaze pulled me away from the glass. Billy still had his gun fixed on the glass. Kace did the same and Zander said "are you crazy?! Don't shoot!" Arlo stared up at the glass that was cracked.

"Asshole!" Tina said. The Xenomorph looked at her and jumped toward her. Tina tied her to the ship and Sam began to take off. Gunshots were heard, along with Tina's screams. I whimpered and Billy said "it's ok." I shook my head and said "he's on the fucking ship." Blaze gulped and Kace said "we're gonna die." Screeching was heard and Tina came into the room, blood dripping from the side of her head. "It's gone. Sam you can proceed to go back to the Covenant." She said. Sam nodded and began to lift the ship higher in the air. It felt like there was something heavy in the cargo hold. But I blew it off, thinking it was just some old boxes and stuff inside it. David sat with a bag next to him. "Where's Walter?" Tina said. "The cargo hold." David replied as he pushed his scraggly hair out of his face. Blaze set his bat on the floor and leaned against the wall. Before I knew it we were back on the Covenant. As the ship docked onto the Covenant it rattled. Sam furrowed his eyebrows and said "that's weird." Chase ran a hand through his hair and said "it's probably just old." Tina grabbed David and began pulling him to the med bay. "Who's that?" Sam asked. "Another android. He's the same model as Walter. But he's kinda creepy." Zander replied. I sighed and said "well, now we have two androids." "That's just great." Blaze replied sarcastically. Billy rolled his eyes and said "they're too much." "Well, we'll see about that won't we?" Sam asked.
