(The trailer to the next Scream movie is out! So because of it I decided to write another short chapter. Like, I said if people are interested in this then I will continue the book.)

🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪

"Where were you last night, Janice?" Dewey and some other officer were in the room alongside the principal. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest and gave them a bored look. No one calls me by that name.

"Watching horror movies, why? You think I killed that girl?"

"Casey Becker and you were friends, were you not?" Dewey crossed his arms and sat on the table in front of me.

"Were. You said it. Honestly what am I even doing here? This is ridiculous, he's not even a real cop."

The principal pinched the bridge of his nose and seemed to already get tired of me. "Just answer his questions, miss Craven."

I huff and stayed quiet. "We were friends back then in middle school, nothing more. Just like how I was with Sidney, I realized having guys as friends is way better."

Dewey gave me an almost angry look. He knows well I don't get along with his sister and knew I was referring to her since Sidney kinda replaced me for her. Which is why I decided hanging out with Randy instead.

"How about this look of yours? It's different than what I've seen from most kids-"

"It's called goth you idiot and it's the new thing. Besides, you aren't even that old so quit calling me a kid. Are we done here?" I looked at the principal who sighed and nodded.

"Great, thanks for wasting my time." I stood up and quickly left the principal's room.

I huffed out annoyed and slowly started walking over to my locker. I hate the police, all they do is talk and never take action until it's too late. "This sucks."

While I continued to walk over to my locker I noticed no one else was around, I don't feel like heading to class anymore. "I think I'm gonna skip classes." I finally arrived and opened my locker until I felt someone pass me and stop

"So? How'd it go?" I stop digging through my locker and look up confused at Stu.

I look over my shoulders to make sure he's talking to me. He never does that. He's standing next to me, really close in fact. I also hate that he's much taller than me.

"What's gotten into you?" I coldly ask him back..

He shrugs his shoulders and digs his hands into his pockets. "It's my turn to tell what I was doing last night. You skipping classes today again?"

I raise an eyebrow and stare at him weirdly. How does he know I'm skipping classes again? "Again, what is it that you want?" I angrily closed my locker and glared up at him.

"Just wanna talk, maybe crack a couple of jokes. You're always so grouchy." He chuckled and his face soon changed to a serious one when he saw I wouldn't crack a smile.

"Haha you're so funny. Can you leave?"

I waited and he wouldn't leave he just began to say a few stupid things. I got tired and began to search for the nearest exit.

"Hey! I just want people to not feel so gloomy about all of this." I stopped and looked back up at Stu.

"How aren't you affected by this? Casey was your ex."

"Yeah, past tense like you said, Janine." I slapped my hand across his cheek and heard him wince a bit as he held his red cheek.

Stu frowned a bit but it was replaced with a smirk. "Ya know. I think I know why you've always hated me."

"What's that Macher?"

"You like me." He grinned and I looked back at him surprised and offended. "It always happens opposites attract!"

"You're delusional, try telling that to Tatum." I turned around and began leaving the school. I don't have time to be talking to him.

"Jane." Now who is it?! I turned around and saw Billy running up to me. I didn't expect to see him either, what's up with everyone coming up to me?

"Hey! You're a fast walker. How've you been?" He asked walking next to me and sliding his hands inside his pockets.

"Fine, why?"

I stopped and so did he. Billy looked around and held my shoulders making me tense up. "I have a question.. What's one thing Sidney has always wanted?"

Is he serious? He came all the way out here to ask me that?

"Why you want to know?"

Billy placed his hands back to his sides, "I want to give her something nice, I want her to feel comfortable around me, ya know?"

"Well, I don't exactly know what her type is anymore."

"Would you mind asking her what she would like?" Billy is acting strange. Whatever it is I better go with it and end this quick, I just want to go home and be by myself.

"Okay I'll try and figure her out."

"Nice. Oh right!" He dug something into his pocket and held it to me. "Stu told me for you to hang onto this."

I examined the item in his hand as I reached out and held it in my palm. It's a necklace, but I swear I've seen this one before. "It's not my style but it'll work." I joke and knew he'd be giving it to Tatum soon.

"Funny as ever. Seriously, thanks for helping me out." Billy said and he went back to school.

I looked at the necklace again and couldn't quite figure out where I've seen it. Maybe when we were all in a group and Tatum mentioned that on a window display when we walked past a store. Knowingly her, she only wants the best for herself.

Maybe the guys are right...should I maybe start hanging out with Randy but as more than a friend? I've never seen him as anything else but, lately I've been feeling extremely lonely.

I stopped to sit on a bench and started to sketch a couple of things. "I figured you'd be here." I laid my pencil down on the white sheet and glanced over to see Randy sit next to me.

"You're always alone on a bench whenever you feel like sketching something. What you got?" He asked looking to my side.

"I'm not sure.. I've only heard descriptions of what the killer looked liked, so I decided to sketch something quick on what he may look like."

I showed Randy my book and he smiled. "That looks amazing. And what do you mean by He?"

"Killers are always men as far as I know."

"You're right but on first Friday the 13th, the killer was a female." I chuckle and agree. He's so needy and awesome to hang out with.

"Hey Randy..umm. Would you like for us to hang out tonight?" I ask and saw him look at me surprised, since he didn't exactly expect me to ask him out.

"Well, we do have a free pay day from our job. Why not?" He smiled back and winked at me. It's a date then...
