I deeply sighed into the night air, staring down at my hands that were full of boxes of chocolate for the chief of police, who I absolutely couldn't stand for the life of me. Being the daughter of  Mr. Ficklegruber was the utter nightmare you'd imagine it to be. Seeing as he was apart of the chocolate cartel, run by Mr. Slugworth, I was immediately positioned as a messenger girl by the time I reached a certain age, being forced to help them with their dirty doings. This one, I absolutely hated the most.

"Ah! There you are! And I see you have my payment." The chief immediately jerked the chocolate boxes out of my hands and into his own grubby ones, ripping one open with his eyes closing in pure pleasure from the moment he dropped a piece of chocolate in his mouth.

"You're a good little girl for doing this, you know? I'm surprised you aren't fawning over this new Wonka fellow threatening to dethrone your little cartel's business." Willy Wonka. I saw his presentation from afar when he first arrived in the galerie gourmet, noting how handsome he truly is with his vibrant clothing, ecstatic personality and charming demeanor. My father told me to stay far away from him the moment Mr. Slugworth declared he was a menace to them and their doings. I for one, was intrigued by him.

"I'm no little girl. And it's not my cartel. I could care less what happens with them from now on, father or not. I honestly hope Wonka takes all their business. I hope he figures them out. And I certainly hope they get shut down!" I practically screamed in his face in pure rage that had built up for so long, his wide eyed stare and dumbfounded demeanor was all the confirmation I needed on knowing he wouldn't repeat a word I said, in fear that my father wouldn't believe him.

"Good luck with that one sweetheart. Now carry on. Shoo shoo!" He scurried me away with a shove of his hands in a harsh way, may i add, my feet seemingly deceiving me once I tumbled. But in one swift motion, a pair of arms had caught me before I could even remotely get near the ground. That's when our eyes met. Willy's green eyes bore into mine with a little smile on his face of what appeared to be humor. Thankfully, the chief had disappeared, most likely to devour his numerous boxes of chocolates.

"Wonka! You know, you're really lucky he didn't see you. I'd never hear the end of it." But I couldn't stop smiling through my words, him lifting me back to my feet with a tip of his chocolate colored top hat once he did.

"Well here I thought I would receive a thank you! But I'll take that smile instead, Miss Ficklegruber." Sadly, he knew who I was. Surprisingly, he helped me when I needed it. He didn't tuck tail and run.

"Thank you.... I'm assuming you heard that entire conversation with the chief." We sat down on the edge of the fountain in the middle of town with his eyes greeting mine once we did, thankful we were alone so I could finally figure him out. For the life of me, I just couldn't. He seemed..... so different from anyone I'd ever met in my entire life. He seemed..... like a dream.

"I did as a matter of fact! I should be thanking you for defending my honor, even though we just met." I couldn't help but chuckle from his goofy expression that was his attempt to make me laugh. He had succeeded. What I didn't know, was he could see I was not what he thought either. I wasn't a goon of the cartel. I was simply, me. A girl just trying to survive in a world where I'm trapped. But I wouldn't be for long I would soon find out.

"Your chocolate is exquisite! A mutual friend of ours, Noodle, she gave me one of your Broadway chocolates, just so I could really freak my father and his idiot friends out. It was so funny!" We laughed into the night as our conversation continued to flow, never realizing how much time had passed. But I frankly didn't care. I was having the most fun i'd ever had in my entire life.

"I want to help you Willy. I want to stop my father. I want this madness to end! They would prefer you dead so they can keep their rein of chocolate terror going. But i can't let that happen." Suddenly, he took his hat off in one swoop, retrieving a chocolate pop that was beautifully shaped like a heart from within that was covered in swirls of chocolate as well, handing it off to me with his handsome grin that was quickly growing on me.

"That does it then! Welcome to Wonka's Chocolate Adventure! And may we have a wonderful time together." I softly took the chocolate pop from his hands, our fingertips gently touching and I could just feel the electrical current flowing throughout me from that one touch. Magic. Truly magic.
