With Avneet 

As she ran from the spot , the truth that her love was a cancer patient is haunting her . She closed the door with a bang and started throwing things here and there . 

Avi : No no it's false ,my Sid is fine . Nothing will happen to him , he is fine . He will not leave me . My sidoo is fine .

She kept on murmuring the same again and again , was throwing the things . Few minutes later Jaireem also reached there . Seeing her they panicked .Jai went near her and cupped her face .

Jai :Di look at me 

She shook her head 

Avi : Jai , my Sid is fine it's false . Nothing has happened to him , please say it's false Jai .

Jai : No di it's not he have cancer .

She slapped him tightly , Jai reem gasped as Avneet behaviour is going out of control .

Reem : Avi try to understand yaar , Sid bhai will not like to see you like this .

Reem went slowly towards her and hugged her . Avneet let her tears flow out , she was completely broke down in her best friend arms . Reem made her sit down on the bed .Jai brought a glass of water and gave to her .

Jai : Di please calm down and have some water . Reacting this way would not do any help .

He made her drink some water and wiped her tears .He took hold of her hands and sat kneeling down in front of her , while Reem sat beside Avneet .

Jai : Di we can't change the fact that Sid bhai has cancer but shouldn't we now support him rather than crying over the fact that he has cancer ?? 

Avi : yeah but jai I can't support him , he broke up with me , he made me suffer , he is the reason behind my tears now and then also .

Jai : Di  , I always supported you no matter what but we never considered buddy  point of view only , he broke up with you a day before the engagement and we don't even know the reason , afterwards he was caught cheating Abhi bhai , then he left . Don't you think we already punished him enough all this years by our hate ? Now you are crying he has cancer then why are you not ready to forgive him ? Not as a girlfriend but as his bestie, his madoo become his support system , learn the truths, be with him . I also misunderstood him but now onwards I will be for my buddy.

Reem : Even me i with Sid bhai now . Avi I know what Sid bhai did with you is wrong but now he need all of us , we cannot become his weakness. We are not forcing you to talk to him or something but things might go wrong if it becomes late . We support you all your decisions .

Avneet nodded her head , she was in dilemma . Jaireem left giving her space .

Avi 's POV 

Why Siddharth why did you leave me ? You became a mystery for all of us , i mean there is nothing we know about you , you are not the one we know not Abhi bhai ' s kiddo or my madoo . You didn't even share your problems with us !! How can I accept the fact you have cancer ? I can't afford to you lose you sidoo . My love for you is more than the hate I had for you , the day when I saw you here I felt my breathe was back but you having a daughter shattered my all hopes . I can't get over that you easily moved on from me and married. But who is your wife ?

Hush so many questions, but the answer is one it's YOU !

She saw Alam saying something to Siddharth seriously and leaving there with a smirk .Then she saw how Siddharth sat down and was crying harder bringing his knees towards his chest as if hiding from the world . It broke her heart seeing him like this . She rushed towards him .

Avi : Sid what happened , Siddharth? (She shook him )

Sid : ........ he did not give any reply and was nodding in a no . Presently he was is no condition to speak also . They man ( Alam) threatened him by using his daughter as a bait he never expected him to stoop this low .

Avi : Sid speak something you are scaring me , please !

Sid : Sriyu ... dada ,..Sriyu 

Avneet hugged him tight  , he also hugged her back. He was sobbing on her shoulders n.

Avi : shhhh they are fine Siddharth ,nothing as happened, first you calm down . (She was rubbing his back )

Avi : come let's go to the garden .

She made him stand and dragged him to garden to make his mood . .Both sat on the bench . He was still sobbing a little.

Avi : come on Siddharth now stop crying, they are safe . If you want I will call Abhi bhai .

Sid  : no it's okay.

Avi: Btw what did Alam bhai say to you ? It's because of  him only you are crying ?

Siddharth face became pale , he remembered Alam words again .

Sid : nothing happened mam . 

She also didn't ask further, they both were sitting in silence , not a peaceful one as many things were going in their mind . But one thing was haunting him .

Sid : you are with me because of sympathy na (whispered )

Avi : what ?

Sid : you are there with me because I am a cancer patient , I mean out of sympathy that I will die anyways.

She closed his mouth with her hand .

Avi : never say that word again , you are gonna fight it Siddharth. I am alway with you in this battle.

Sid : I am tired fighting mam and please stop showing fake concern mam . I know you hate me .

Avi : I hated you Siddharth but not now 

Sid (cutting her ) : because I have cancer 

Avi : no Sid not because of it , before my boyfriend you were my best friend Sid , my secret keeper. You already moved in your life you have a family and daughter. There is nothing for me to hate except the fact you broke up with me ( Sid looked down guiltily) no need to feel guilty Sid it was your choice and no one can force you . You are happy, so I am happy with my career . I guess I had already punished you this many years so we can start over again !

Sid : really ??

Avi : yes so Siddharth Nigam 

Sid : It's Siddharth only actually!  I am not a Nigam 

Avi : Sid , Abhi bhai said that all in anger .

Sid : please Avneet not now ,

Avi : So Siddharth will you do honour of being my best friend , my madoo ?

Sid : Yes Avneet Kaur !!

She hugged him tightly, she got peace after many years , but will it last longer ??
