SOO-JIN'S WORDS HAD BEEN PROVEN CORRECT. The second Kim Ji-an stepped into the room where her interview would be held, not more than fifteen minutes had passed when they told her they wanted to have her working for their company. Originally the girl had assumed they would follow through the same procedure they did when she first joined her first modeling gig but it actually was a lot easier. The second she told them about her modeling job in Miami for a variety of things like, shampoo commercials, magazines, and skin care products they immediately looked convinced.

It wasn't often that they came across such a successful seventeen year old girl. Of course, coming from a family of good status helped a lot but everything that she had done it had been thanks to her own hard work. Her parents never truly supported her on anything, except her relationship with Lee Su-ho and that was because they benefited from it. Her mother only cared for Ji-an's brother Ji-hunโ€” always babying him for as long as Ji-an could remember. Then her father was overtaken by pride and arrogance, completely straying away from the caring man he used to be.

Kim Ji-an had learned to grow used to it all and also learned to put up a front when anyone mentioned her family. It was rather easy to do so when she barely ever saw them, even if they were supposed to be living in the same house. But this morning, it was one of those rare days where everyone was present and sitting in the dining table like the functional family they pretended to be.

"Ji-hun, baby, could you pass me the bowl of rice?" Hae-won spoke, their mother's honeyed voice directed towards Ji-an's brother who was sitting by Ji-an's right side.

The older boy passed the rice bowl to their mother before resuming eating, and Ji-an took note of how oddly cheery he looked. His wavy hair rested on his forehead carelessly, reflecting Ji-hun's personality. Ignoring the fact Ji-hun was the definition of lazy and liked to make his way around lying about everything, him and Ji-an were quite similar in both personalities and appearance.

Both can be very stubborn when they set their mind on what they want. They're good at lying but suck at containing their emotions. Though, Ji-hun's hair is wavy and Ji-an's isn't, the shade of their hair is the same brown, and they share the same doe eyes and soft features. If it wasn't for the four year age gap, they would've been mistaken by twins.

"So, Ji-an how are things with Lee Su-ho?"

First sentence directed towards her and it had nothing to do with her well being. She knew this whole thing of having breakfast as a family was just their way of getting information out of her. It had been a while since they had revealed the new state of the company and what they demanded from her, so Ji-an wasn't surprised by their demeanor. Though, she would've much preferred for them to go straight to the point instead of having to force her to partake in their little games.

"I'm getting there." The girl murmured, grabbing her cup of juice and taking a sip from it.

"And what exactly do you mean by that?" Her mother questioned, never being a fan of responses that lacked certainty or confidence. Ironically as manipulative as she was the woman disliked people who liked to go around the subject instead of cutting to the chase.

Ji-an swallowed not forgetting that night with her mother. She in fact would never forget but she liked to pretend it never happened. "Exactly how it sounds."

"Don't you get smart with us Ji-an." Intervened her father but despite the man's authoritative tone his words were completely ignored by Ji-hun which wasn't a rare occurrence.

"Relax, I'm sure she's been more occupied with that other boy. What was his name again? Se-hun? Se-yun?......Seo-jun? Yeah! Han Seo-jun that's the name!" He chuckled at himself, leaning back to rest his arm on the chair Ji-an was sitting on just to irritate the girl even further. His smile widening more when he saw the look his sister was giving him.

If looks could kill Kim Ji-an would've been six feet under ground by the glare her mother was giving her. Gritting her teeth and Hae-won placed her chopsticks down, no longer feeling any sense of appetite by the sudden news. "Didn't I tell you to stay away from him?"

A sigh left Ji-an's lips, trying her best to keep her composure. "Didn't you tell me to do whatever it took to get back with Lee Su-ho? Well, this is my way of doing it."

"Ohh, so you do have a brain after all. I thought it had gotten lost behind all that hair." Ji-hun taunted and Ji-an growing tired of his remarks pushed his arm away from her chair making him lose his balance a little.

"So, that was your plan all along? Make Lee Su-ho jealous so he takes you back?" Her mother asked, a new emotion swimming in her dark eyes as she analyzed her daughter.

"Yes."

"Hmm, maybe you have actually learned something from me. Good job, Ji-an." Hae-won nodded in approval, a look of almost pride crossing her features making Ji-an wonder if her eyes were deceiving her.

"This better work. Remember the company and the family's status is on the line." Her father added, yet again reminding her of what actually mattered to them.

For all Ji-an cared the company could rot and burn to ashes, but she couldn't tell them that so she nodded. "Yes, father."

After that horrible breakfast, Kim Ji-an went upstairs to her room hoping to put on some make up before heading out. Today it was the 8th Saebom festival, something she wouldn't miss out on for anything in the world. This was her chance of getting to have some fun and forget a little about her life. Plus, she was sure that if by any reason she decided to not go Soo-ah and Soo-jin would physically dragged her out her house.

As Ji-an began her usual make up routine there was a knock on her door causing the girl to pause her movements as she listened to the voice behind the door. "It's Chin-sun. Can I come in?"

The girl nodded before realizing the woman couldn't see her so she said a simple yes and resumed with her work. Chin-sun came in the room closing the door behind her with a soft click before actually speaking. She didn't want anyone else to hear their conversation, even if it wasn't anything scandalous.

"I overheard some of the conversation you guys were having and I wanted to make sure you were okay." The older woman said, her soft eyes worriedly set on Ji-an.

A smile took over Ji-an's face. It felt good to know at least one person in the house genuinely cared about her well being. "I'm okay. I've survived worse, and surprisingly it ended up going better than I expected."

Chin-sun sighed in relief. She knew better than anyone how the girl's family could be so she was glad nothing had escalated. "That's good then. Were you able to eat enough breakfast?" She asked, suddenly growing worried again. "Do you want me to bring you some more?"

Ji-an chuckled at the woman's demeanor. It was very endearing. "It's okay, Chin-sun. I'm still a little hungry, but I don't want to bother you even more."

The older woman immediately shook her head. "You're never a bother to me, Ji-an. I'm offering because I want to. I always make sure there's extra food of everything for cases like this."

Knowing how stubborn Chin-sun could be Ji-an agreed. "Okay, then just don't bring too much food. There's already going to be food at the festival and I don't want to eat too much. I have to keep track of my weight now that I'm back on modeling."

Nodding in understanding, Chin-sun left to grab the girl's food. Ji-an continued applying her make up, not being able to control her excitement for the day as she smiled at her reflection.

"It's my first time doing someone else's make up, but let's try it." Jug-yeong admitted, as she sat across from Go-woon. Kim Ji-an was leaning against the lab table ready to see Jug-yeong work her magic.

After arriving at the festival the two had come across Go-woon, who had attempted to do her own makeup. Sadly the younger girl's lack of experience cause the make up to not look its best. So, Jug-yeong and Ji-an had dragged her away to a classroom in hopes of helping Go-woon.

"You can't mess up on stage because of judgmental kids." Ji-an said, scowling at the thought of those girls that had assaulted Go-woon in the bathroom.

"But....do I look very weird?" Go-woon's eyes were wide as she stared at the two girls suddenly growing self conscious.

"You don't look weird." Ji-an reassured, not wanting the girl's confidence to lower. "It's just the way you did your make up it's too harsh for your features. With practice you'll get the hang of it, don't worry."

Jug-yeong nodded, "Yeah, you look pretty. You do, but let's make just a few changes, okay?"

As Jug-yeong started working with Go-woon, Ji-an couldn't help but think the girl was incredibly talented. For this being her first time working on someone else, she was doing an amazing job. Kim Ji-an was pretty good at doing make up but it wasn't something that really spiked her interest so she only did it on herself.

"You should be a make up artist, Jug-yeong." Ji-an said, causing the other girl to pause what she was doing.

"You really think so?" Jug-yeong was surprised. No one really knew about her talent except for Ji-an so this was the first time someone had said that to her.

"Yeah, I'm not joking. You're really good."

"Thank you." A soft blush formed on Jug-yeong's cheeks, not used to the compliments.

"You're welcome." Ji-an smiled at the girl before looking at her phone to check any new notifications. By doing that she noticed the time making her eyes widened as she turned to look at Go-woon who currently had her eyes closed while Jug-yeong worked on her eyeshadow. "Go-woon at what time does your presentation begins?"

"It starts at 12:00 but we all should be behind the stage at 11:45. Why do you ask?"

"Because it's currently 11:20." Ji-an revealed causing Go-woon to quickly open her eyes causing Jug-yeong to almost poke her eye with the brush.

"11:20?! My hair's not even done yet." Go-woon said, the new worry of missing her performance creeping up on her.

Ji-an noticed this so she offered. "If you want I can do your hair while Jug-yeong does your make up. That way you only have to change and you'll be ready to go."

Go-woon immediately agreed so Ji-an moved away from the table and over to stand behind the younger girl. "What hairstyle do you want?"

"You can do that braid you did for me when we went to the amusement park. I really liked it and it kept the hair off of my face."

"Okay." Ji-an said as she began working, silently hoping for them to finish everything before the performance began.

ย  โ†ถ*เณƒโœงหš. โƒ โ†ท

Thankfully both Jug-yeong and Ji-an were able to finish Go-woon's make up and hair on time. Ji-an sat beside Han Seo-jun on the theater the two too profusely focused on the stage to really say anything else besides a greeting. Go-woon's voice left everyone speechless almost bringing the couple to tears as they watched her. She looked so grown nothing like the little girl they knew, and her voice rang through the audience with such intensity you felt it on your soul.

Ji-an couldn't believe that such talent ran in their family. Both Han siblings had an amazing talent for music and it hurt Ji-an knowing Han Seo-jun had given up on his dream for music after Se-yeon's death. As much as she would like to oppose to that idea Se-yeon's death marked everyone and they all found a way to cope with it differently.

After the performance Seo-jun and Ji-an walked over to Go-woon who was currently engaged in a conversation with Jug-yeong. Seo-jun had bought a bouquet of flowers for his sister while Ji-an had bought the girl's favorite box of chocolates.

When the pair got closer Go-woon visibly lighten up, if that was even possible taking note of the big smile already on her face. "Hey!"

Seo-jun gave the flowers to Go-woon who took them happily and Ji-an did the same with the chocolates before embracing the younger girl in a hug. Seo-jun's eyes trailed off to Jug-yeong who was looking at the boy like he had grown two pairs of heads. Looking between Jug-yeong and his sister, he asked, "Do you know each other?"

Pulling away from the hug, Go-woon looked at Jug-yeong. "Oh, do you know my brother?"

"Brother?" Jug-yeong's expression contorted in disbelief. "For real?"

Before anyone could respond, Soo-ah's voice interrupted. The shorter girl parting through the small crowds of people as she ran towards them. "Jug-yeong! Jug-yeong, I need your help. Soo suddenly can't make it. I need you."

A little confused Jug-yeong nodded, still willing to help her friend even if she didn't know what exactly she needed to do, "Okay." She turned to Go-woon and Ji-an. "See you later."

While dragging Jug-yeong away, Soo-ah turned around, her attention on Ji-an. "Don't forget about the game!"

"I won't!" Ji-an smiled at her friend before her attention was turned to Seo-jun once he spoke.

"How do you know Jug-yeong?" He asked his sister.

"We met at school. She and Ji-an helped me with some stuff." The girl kept her answer vague not wanting her brother to know about what happened yet.

Han Seo-jun narrowed his eyes as he looked at Go-woon up and down. Lifting his hand he slightly tugged on the end of his sister's braid, causing the girl to slap his hand away with a scowl, ready to snap at him until he spoke again. "Ji-an did your hair."

His words were more like a statement rather than a question. He knows it had been Ji-an. He can still remember that day on the amusement park when the girl was doing his sister's hair, her hands still trembling from the roller coaster they had gotten on minutes before. It had caused the braid to turn out slightly wonky, but Go-woon wouldn't stop showing it off even when they had already arrived home. It was very endearing to witness.

Ji-an grimaced, leaning to the side to take a look at the braid. "Ugh, it's bad isn't? I was rushing because Go-woon had to be on stage by 11:45, so my hands were shaking a little. Then there was this annoying pieces of hairs that didn't want to stay down so I had to improvise and-"

"Ji-an, you're rambling again." Go-woon reminded, stoping the girl from continuing her ranting.

"Sorry." The girl said, still looking at the little imperfections of the braid. As a perfectionist it killed her having to settle with the first result, given there was a few stuff she would've liked to fix.

"Bad?" Seo-jun voice was full of incredulity as he looked down at the girl, "It looks good. Stop worrying so much, sweetheart."

Surprised, Ji-an looked away from Go-woon's hair. "You think so?" A part of her wanted to believe him while the other was still skeptical.

"Yeah, anything you would've done would be better than Go-woon doing her own hair." He said before a wince left his mouth when Go-woon's fist collided with his arm.

"Shut up." The younger girl exclaimed and turned to Ji-an who currently was trying to suppress her amused smile at the sibling's dynamic. "I love how the braid turned out, so don't say it's bad. I'm just begging, please refrain from acting all lovey-dovey in front of me. I don't think I'll ever get used to you two being a couple."

Both Seo-jun and Ji-an chuckled at the girl's disgusted expression before giving her a nod of agreement. The two were just glad they wouldn't have to do anything extra in front of her. That would've been awkward.

ย  โ†ถ*เณƒโœงหš. โƒ โ†ท

With furrowed brows Kim Ji-an shuffled on her spot, her hands smoothing down the white and blue skirt adorning her hips. A cheerleading outfit wasn't what she had in mind when Cho-rong had approached her for help. He had insisted that wearing cheerleading outfits would help increase Han Seo-jun's chances of winning the basketball game against Lee Su-ho's team. Supposedly as Seo-jun's girlfriend she should be cheering him on to show her support.

When Ji-an agreed she hadn't expected the clothes to be so uncomfortable. To be exact Kim Ji-an wasn't even sure where Cho-rong had gotten those cheerleading uniforms from, maybe she should've asked. It didn't matter though cause now she was stuck wearing the pieces of clothing for the next hour or so.

"Where did that came from?" Soo-ah asked, her eyes scanning over Ji-an's figure with furrowed eyebrows.

"I don't even know. Cho-rong said I needed to wear it to show my support for Seo-jun." She tugged on the skirt wondering yet again why she agreed on wearing it.

Soo-ah shrugged, in the process almost dropping the bunny head of her custom that was being held underneath her arm. "At least you get to show those amazing legs."

Fighting off a scoff Ji-an sighed as she stared at Soo-ah's outfit, "I would've prefer to wear an animal custom than this thing. It looks way more comfortable than the cheerleading uniform."

"Just focus on the game and forget about the outfit. This games can get pretty interesting when Han Seo-jun and Lee Su-ho are involved. I can't imagine how this one is going to go considering the fact Lee Su-ho thinks you're dating Han Seo-jun."

True to Soo-ah's words the game had been more entertaining than Ji-an would've liked to admit. Both teams were giving their allโ€”and with that it means Han Seo-jun and Lee Su-ho. Their need to prove a point was shown through their determination to win, not that they weren't competitive to begin with. Where Su-ho went Seo-jun was right on his tail and vise versa. The points were right behind the other's which increased the tension and suspense of the game, but at the end Lee Su-ho's team was able to take the win with a total of 53 points.

Cheers broke out from the side of the crowd that supported Su-ho's team while the other half groaned in disappointment at their lost. Kim Ji-an being on Seo-Jun's team kept her cheering to a simple applaud, even if she wanted to jump around in celebration along with the rest. In reality she didn't care much about who won or lost. It was just a game and both teams did a great job.

She honestly wanted to celebrate with her friends but she stayed put, attempting to drown out the words of protest from Cho-rong as she looked down at the basketball court where Han Seo-jun and Lee Su-ho were currently talking, wishing she could hear what they were saying.

"It was all my fault." Lee Su-ho admitted causing Seo-Jun to turn his head towards him. "So, take out your anger on me. I'm willing to accept it all, but don't drag Ji-an into it. This is all between you and me. She already left for almost a whole year because of me, I don't want the same thing happening again because you decided to mess with her. I won't allow it."

With that Su-ho left, leaving Seo-Jun to stare at the place where he had been standing seconds before. Seo-jun knew Su-ho was rightโ€”but not for the reasons Su-ho believed. When Kim Ji-an left, it was like another part of Seo-jun had been ripped off along with the piece Se-yeon took. No matter how badly he had broken apart their friendship, he still was able to have Ji-an close in some sort of way even if it wasn't the way he would've liked to.

Just knowing she was close and okay was enough for him, even if it was through mindless bickering and stupid arguments. As much as he hated Su-ho, Seo-jun knew it had been the same way for him or dare him say worse. Both had messed up the connection they had with Ji-an for different reasons and in different circumstances, but they both knew that completely losing her was not on the table.

She was too important.

Seo-jun was afraid. Afraid that if things didn't go down the way Ji-an hoped, she would leave again. All because he had agreed to partake in a fake relationship that he so badly wished was real. All because of his want to mess with Lee Su-ho because he wasn't capable of forgiving.

When Cho-rong and the rest of his friends approached him he was still zoning out, it wasn't until they left, probably to change out of their outfits, and Ji-an joined him that he was able to snap out of his thoughts. Mainly because the sole reason of his overthinking stood right in front of him.

His sharp eyes admired her, hiding his surprise at the fact she had agreed on wearing a cheerleading outfit like his friends. He was sure this had to do with Cho-rong and he made a mental note to thank his friend later, because Ji-an looked as pretty as ever. She always looked pretty to him but seeing her wearing a uniform that represented his team made his heartbeat increase more than it should.

Without thinking he let the words roll off his tongue, stopping Ji-an from saying what she was going to say. "You look beautiful."

Kim Ji-an paused in her tracks, her eyes widening at his words. She waited for him to add somethingโ€”anything to turn his three lettered sentence into a back handed compliment or just say he was joking with her. There was no one around close enough to hear their conversation so they had no reason to talk like a couple, let alone for Seo-jun to say anything he didn't mean. But he did mean it, because Ji-an couldn't find any sign in his eyes or body language that showed he was lying which surprised her even more.

Stunned, she gulped not used to the sincerity in his voice or the strange look he was giving her. "Thank you." It was all she could say through the weird feeling building in her stomach. She shouldn't have agreed on eating so much junk food at the festival.

ย  โ†ถ*เณƒโœงหš. โƒ โ†ท

The night approached quicker than expected and Kim Ji-an found herself walking along with Soo-ah, Jug-yeong, and Soo-jin. Soo-ah who was in the middle stopped in her tracks as they got near the stage where a band was going to begin performing soon, "Should we watch from the front or the back?"

Jug-yeong's face turn apologetic, clearly not having the same set of plans as her friends. "I'm tired and would like-"

"Don't you dare say you'll leave first." Soo-ah interrupted before the girl was able to finish her sentence. Her voice turned an octave higher than usual, the same tone she used when she wanted to persuade someone to do something. "Why would you go home when the highlight is yet to come?"

Soo-jin nodded also trying to get the girl to not leave. "She's right. Stay and watch the show with us."

Ji-an gave Jug-yeong an encouraging smile, a silent way of expressing she also wanted her to stay as their two friends dragged them over to a sit not too far in the back but also not too close to the stage, just right in the middle. The group watched the band get ready with their instruments and a blond man, probably the lead singer of the group, step forward to the mic stand to speak.

"This song isn't widely known," he spoke, looking around as he addressed the crowd, "but it's by the late Jeong Se-yeon who I was I big fan of. I bring you this song in the memory of Jeong Seo-yeon who left this world a year ago."

Kim Ji-an felt her blood run cold at his words and a new set of goosebumps form in her skin that were no longer caused by the chilly night. The soft melody of the song played through the instruments, permeating the night sky with its melancholic yet beautiful tune. Suddenly, Ji-an felt like she was underwater like this was some sort of hallucination she needed to wake up from. Through the hammering of her heart the voice of the singer was slightly muffled in her ears making her question if she was actually living the moment.

The singers voice was incredibly similar to Se-yeon's and for a moment as she stared at the stage it was like seeing Se-yeon standing there, performing like he always did. It was unnerving but also comforting in the strangest way possible because she knew it wasn't real, but for a second she wanted to believe it was.

Se-yeon's death had been very unexpected. One second he was there and the next he was no longer present and would never be. Ji-an can't even remember the last moment she had with him and it pained her a lot. Despite, Se-yeon's reserved personality he was a friend, they didn't talk every day but they didn't need to because they understood each other. He was a constant presence in her life for years, someone she cared deeply about. Then he was gone and Ji-an never moved on the way she was supposed to.

"Ji-an, are you okay? Ji-an?" Soo-jin shook the girl's shoulder in an attempt to wake her friend from the daze she was in. It was hard to do so without gaining some attention from the others around them who had already started to whisper things amongst themselves once Se-yeon's name was mentioned. Finally after another try, Soo-jin got Ji-an to remove her gaze from the stage. "Are you okay?"

The girl slowly nodded, moving her eyes back to the stage to see the blond guy again instead of Se-yeon. Running a hand through her hair she ignored the concerned looks from her friends as she stood, "I need to clear my mind. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

Not waiting for an answer, she made her way through the rows of people trying to get as far away from the place as she could. Though, she wasn't able to get very far because as she went up the steps to leave, her gaze fell on a crouch down figure, and it didn't take her more than a second to recognize said figure as Lee Su-ho.

Instinctively she ran towards him, her hand still slightly shaking from moments ago as she rested her palm against his back. "Su-ho?"

He was hyperventilating and when he turned his head to look at her, his eyes were red and glistening with unshed tears that were ready to escape at any given moment. Ji-an could feel her heart break at the sight, shattering into pieces when she watched him struggleโ€”basically stumble to get to a small bush to lean against for support. This wasn't the first time she had seen him this way. Se-yeon's death had really affected Su-ho and for a moment Ji-an wanted to punch herself for ever thinking Su-ho had been able to make peace with his friend's death.

"Hey, hey, slow down." She returned the hand she had on his back and rubbed soft circles. The girl didn't know how to deal with the situation, scared she might say the wrong thing, but still she spoke hoping her words would help ground him and stop the panic attack he was beginning to experience from further developing. "Come on, talk to me. I'm here for you. Just breathe with me."

Su-ho's whole body was shaking and beats of sweat were starting to form in his hairline. There was nothing more he wanted to do than follow what Ji-an was telling him and open up, but he knew that would be a mistake. He didn't want to put that burden on her. If he did that nothing could guarantee he would be able to calm down in just a few minutes, right now he felt like his world was slowly coming apart and he could do nothing but watch.

Every single time he thought he was doing better and that the panic attacks were no longer going to happen, something, just a minuscule thing set him off. It was like a never ending loop, a never ending cicle, his own personal nightmare created just to torture him. A voice in his head told him that's what he deserved, that he shouldn't be happy, and Su-ho believed it because he thought that was the punishment he deserved for not saving his best friend.

Through his pants and heavy breathing he whispered, "Go."

"What?" Ji-an's eyes widened concern evident in her voice.

"Just go!" With the last bit of strength he had left, he pushed himself away from where he was leaning at and walked away.

Ji-an rubbed a hand through her face, conflicted as she watched him leave. She let out a shaky breath, before turning around and coming face to face with Han Seo-jun. He was standing a couple of feet away probably having seen the whole thing with Su-ho.

His expression lacked emotion so Ji-an wasn't sure what exactly he was thinking or feeling, but she didn't dive in those thoughts and instead she moved forward and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a hug.

She knew Han Seo-jun. He was good at hiding his feelings just like Su-ho, because if he pretended everything was fine maybe he'll also believe it. But it wasn't that easy, and It didn't take him long to return the embrace, squeezing her frame like his life depended on it. He allowed himself to relax as he placed his face in the crook of her neck breathing her in. Ji-an waited for Seo-jun to be the one to pull away first, letting him hold on for as long as he needed to.

Once he did, she scanned his face noticing the blank expression was now gone and replaced with an expression of vulnerability. "Are you okay?"

He nodded, "I am now." And it was true, he really needed that hug specially if it came from her.

"Would you be okay if I leave you alone?" She said feeling a little guilty for asking as she anxiously tapped her fingers against her thigh. It wasn't long since Lee Su-ho left so it shouldn't be too hard to catch up with him. He was in no condition to be walking around alone and Ji-an knew that if she just left without at least trying to look for him she wouldn't be able to sleep all night.

It was like Seo-jun could read her mind because he said, "You can go. He shouldn't have gotten too far."

Maybe it was the events of the night or maybe it was the feeling of guilt bubbling in his stomach that made him say it. Seeing Lee Su-ho struggling to even stand had him rethinking the words he has said to him before, and the thought of Ji-an getting close to Su-ho didn't affect him at the moment, at least not to the extent it usually did.

Ji-an nodded at Seo-jun's words, offering the best smile she could come up with before turning on her heel. Determined to find Lee Su-ho even if it took her the whole night to do so.

This chapter wasn't supposed to be this long idk what happened ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I absolutely won't blame you guys if you forgot Ji-an has a freaking brother. I did mentioned him on the previous chapter and he did made an appearance in the book before but that was literally in chapter three. The whole breakfast scene wasn't supposed to happen but it just flowed that way when I started the chapter so there you have it.

And no, the reason why I barely mention her family it's not because I forgot. The thing is I don't want to drag the book too much, so I just want to get going with the plot. Don't get me wrong, I didn't dive into her family drama just because I wanted to.

They're also an important part of the plot and that's why I added them and made them the way they are.

Also once you think about it they're not really present in Ji-an's life so that also explains why I barely even mention them because they just barely interact. So when I add scenes with them it's because it's contributing with the process of the story.

You guys are probably thinking "damn she always talks so much."

So, I'm sorry about that.

I just want to let you guys in on my thought process and explain stuff that I obviously can't in the book. I just really enjoy when other authors do it, so I like doing the same with my books. I just find it physically impossible to not be interactive. I can't just update and not even say a hello. If you let me, I'll literally stay yapping ๐Ÿฅฒ

Btw just a song rec that matches perfectly with both Ji-an and Seo-jun, and Ji-an and Suho is Mixtape: On Track by Stray Kids. The lyrics match so well bro.

But, I'll shut up now. Here's today's edit! Hope you guys like it ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
