CASSANDRA MAY and two other cadets from the Galaxy Garrison disappeared a year ago. The day Cass and those two cadets disappeared, a strange alien had attacked the school.

THE ALIENS purple in color, large scary ships blowing up the school were searching for a lion and repeated a word called ' voltron '. A large red robotic lion was found in a cave, Cassandra was first to discover it. She couldn't fly the ship but her acquaintance KC Montgomery was able to fly the lion.

BUT CASS left her childhood friend Takashi Shirogane or Shiro. She wrote letters to him when he went off to space, hoping when he returned, he'd read them. Every time she wrote a letter she fell deeper in love with him even though he wasn't there. The red robotic lion took three cadets out into space where they found an ancient altean ship.

CASS and the other cadets KC Montgomery and Cecilia Garrett became paladins of Voltron. Cass was the leader, the black paladin and they struggled to fight against the Galra. But unfortunately, they lost and the Paladins were forced to hide in the castle, sleeping until someone found them. About a year later, new Paladins found them and Cass was reunited with Shiro.

AS THE NEW PALADINS STEPPED UP, Cass and Shiro grew closer, Shiro falling in love with Cassandra. But unfortunately for Cassandra, she died during the intergalactic war before she could tell Shiro she liked him.
