I fucked up I left Ethan, I promised I'd protect him, instead I protected Tara

I'm so fucked he could be dead and I'd be all my fault, I sat which the officers hoping the others would come out alive especially Ethan

"Chad!" I heard Mindy scream, I jumped up running towards them "oh my god are you all okay!" I asked scanning her up and down

"Yes we're okay, Ethan nearly died again tho" she said, I looked towards him, he had blood dripping down the side of his head

I caught eye contact with him which he quickly looked away from, I've never felt so bad,

a paramedic came up to Ethan "come on, let's get you cleaned up" he said putting his arm around Ethan's shoulder

"Chad.." Tara said putting her hand on my shoulder I shrugged it of "not now tara" I said looking down

"Why did you leave him Chad, you said you'd protect him" Quinn asked in a cold tone "I didn't mean to I swear, I'd never do it on purpose" I told her

"He nearly fell of a ladder, Chad he nearly died for the second time, if you won't protect him I will." She said, Sam quickly came to her side taking her hand in hers walking away

A man came under the crime scene tape and ran up to Ethan

I was sat in the ambulance while they banged up my head when a man came under the crime scene tape, I squinted my eyes when I realised it was my dad,

"Dad!" I shouted he came running up to me "oh my god Ethan, are you okay?" He asked hugging me I nodded "what happened" he asked me

"Ghostface"  he knew who ghostface was he was a detective he worked on cases like these

"There back?" He asked in a frantic "yeah, I've already been attacked, this is the second attack" I told him "I'm so sorry I wasn't here on the first" he said

"It's okay dad, I'm pretty sure Quinn would want to see you, she's with that black haired girl over there" I told him and he nodded

The paramedic finished patching my head up and said I was clear to go, I got up off the stretcher and was about to walk towards Mindy and anika when Chad stopped in my way

"Ethan I'm so sorry baby I didn't mean to to leave you" he said putting his hands on my cheek

I pushed his hand off me "it's ok Chad" I replied, I don't even know what to say I was so upset with him

"No Ethan don't say that it's not, I'll never forgive myself for it" he told me

"And I'll never forgive you for it to Chad, I nearly died for the second time." I said sternly, "Ethan please don't be like that.." he said

"You left me Chad, you said you'd protect me" I told him before walking past him.
