OFCOURSE IRIS HAD TO FALL sick right before they were going to get their exams back, which was also one of the most important days of the school year. She didn't know how it had happened. One moment she was getting ready to tuck herself into bed, after completing all her night routine to get a good nights sleep for the coming day, and the next she's suddenly awake  at five in the morning, in unbearable pain, feeling chills everywhere, as she's running to the bathroom to let out all the food she had eaten just a couple hours prior.

Iris wasn't sure how she had caught a flu when she had felt perfectly fine just a couple hours before. But all she knew was that as the morning progressed, she did not seem to feel any better. Seeing that she couldn't even properly stand without getting a massive headache or chills, Iris and her mom deemed it best that if she stayed home for the rest of the day, for her own sake and others as well.

Iris was disappointed in the least as she had been thrilled to see the score she had gotten on her exams as she had worked hard on preparing for them beforehand, but there wasn't much she could really do anyways as she needed rest if she wanted to feel better. So that's what she did.

Throughout most of the day, Iris slept in her room, with the exception of taking medication and chomping down whatever food she could here and there to allow the effects of the medication settle in. About a quarter into the day, she found herself settled downstairs on the couch in her living room, catching up on one of her shows as she had grown sick of staying in her room all day, just staring at the blank walls, when she heard the doorbell ring. When nobody went to answer it, it rung once again.

Iris sighed as she turned towards the kitchen to call out to her mom, "Mom! Someone's at the-" however, she stopped momentarily after realizing that her mom had went to the grocery store to buy a couple of essentials, meaning that she was home alone.

Great. Iris thought as she slowly emerged from her comfy spot on the couch. She wrapped her cardigan around her in hopes of soothing the chills she was getting as she made her way to the front door.

Iris didn't know who she expected to be behind the door. But she definitely didn't expect a worried Suho standing on the other end of the door upon answering it. "Suho? What're you doing here?" Iris asked in confusion, wondering if she was hallucinating things or something.

Suho smiled as he held up a carton with some sort of substance in his hand to show the girl, "I brought soup." he declared.

Nope. Definitely not hallucinating at all.

Iris was stunned, not just because Suho was at her front door, randomly unannounced, but also because he had brought her soup. How did he even know she was sick?

Iris didn't want to be impolite seeing that Suho had come all this way to her house to drop off soup, so she opened the door wider for him to come through, "Come in I guess." she ushered, and the Lee boy nodded as he followed behind her, making sure to take his shoes off before entering.

"Naelea told me you weren't feeling well, since you didn't come for the exam review." he explained answering Iris' question from earlier as though he had read her mind or something.

Iris nodded as she slowly edged back towards the couch she was previously on as she felt her legs begin to give out, "Yeah. I think I caught a flu or something."

Suho nodded, "Well I brought some soup. I heard it's the best when it comes to healing any colds." he stated as he put the soup on the table before them. He then took his bag out and began to take a pile of paper out, "I also brought some homework." he added.

Iris smiled, grateful that the boy had went to such an extent for her when he didn't have to, "Thanks." she said as she leaned against the cushions of the couch and slowly closed her eyes, "You can just leave it there. I'll eat it in a bit."

However, instead of listening to her and taking it as his cue to leave like Iris had assumed Suho would, he simply frowned, "You should eat the soup when its warm. It'll be much more effective." he pointed out.

Iris nodded, with her eyes still closed, "Yeah I will, you don't need to worry." she assured him. But he didn't seem to believe her words for some reason.

"Knowing you, you'll probably forget about it and realize when it's already gone cold." and with that, Suho got up and made his way to the kitchen, not before grabbing the soup first.

With his memory of being at the Kim girls house the few times before, he took out a bowl and some cutlery and poured some of the contents from the carton into the soup. After he was satisfied with the amount, he made his way towards the stunned girl.

"Here." he said as he held the soup towards her to take.

Iris however didn't respond and only stared at him with widened eyes and an open mouth, confused over his actions, "What?" Suho tilted his head as a teasing smile made its way on his face, "Do you want me to feed it to you?" he asked.

"No-" Iris, who felt heat begin to creep on her cheeks, shook her head and quickly snatched the bowl from his grasp. She didn't know why she was so flustered or why Suho had such an effect on her.

Suho sat next to Iris as he watched her drink the soup, making sure she drank each and every bit of it. Iris however, felt flustered under his gaze, even more than before as it dawned upon her of the horrible state she was in.

"Suho you can go home." she said as she tried brushing a hand through her frizzy hair she hadn't brushed yet, "You don't have to stay, you might get sick too-"

Before she could finish her sentence though, Suho cut her off, "I'll be fine." he assured her with a small smile, "You worry about finishing that first."

After that, it was silent. All that could be heard at that point was the sound of the ticking clock, and the small sips Iris took of the soup. The silence only continued even after Iris had finished drinking the soup, and it was driving her crazy, because who knew what Suho was thinking, seeing her like that without brushed hair, any makeup or even decent clothes.

Eventually, the silence was broken, and so were Iris' train of thoughts by Suhos sudden question, "Are you cold?" he asked as he had noticed the girl shivering every so often.

Iris found herself nodding, "Kind of."

Without another word, Suho stood up, "Hold on." he told her and looked at the area around him.

He was sure that there had to be foldable blankets somewhere around him. After some searching, his eyes finally spotted what he was looking for, and so he wasted no time in retrieving them for the girl who was in need of them.

Suho stuck around for a while longer, cleaning up the area and getting Iris whatever it was that she needed. Though Iris told him that he could leave and that she'd  be fine on her own, he decided to stay, at least until her mom returned so he knew she'd be okay with another person present.

It was one of those times where Suho was cleaning up, despite Iris telling him to leave it be when it had happened.

Iris sighed as she watched Suho struggling to grab a hoodie she had thrown behind the couch just a couple hours earlier, "You can just leave that there." she assured him.

Suho however shrugged, "Nonsense." he said as he continued to grasp onto the piece of clothing and get it untangled from behind the furniture, which was hard as it was really stuck back there.

"No Suho. Really-" Iris began, and she stood up to pull Suho away from the piece of clothing he was struggling to detach, when it had worked.

However, with the use of force he was using to pull the clothing away, Iris being close to his proximity, and the two wearing socks, Suho went stumbling back. But with Iris there, right behind him, the two slipped and went crashing on the ground.

Before Iris could fully hit the ground though, Suhos hands had somehow made it to the back of her head, so instead of hitting the floor and getting a mild concussion like she had assumed she would, her head simply bounced as Suhos hands took most of the fall.

When Iris looked up to process what had opened, she found her eyes meeting Suhos flustered ones. The two were close. Too close.

The two stared at one another, flustered and unsure of what to do, when Suho finally made the first move, and began inching closer to her. Iris on the other hand began to wonder if this was really happening, and that the two were finally going first kiss, something she had been dreaming for as long as she could remember.

Before anything could happen though, the sound of the front door opening caused to the two to freeze and suddenly jump apart from one another when they realized Iris' mom had returned.

"I'm home!" Eunhee Kim announced as she made her way towards the kitchen, unaware of the surprise guest they had visiting until her eyes fell upon her flustered daughter and friends son on the ground, sitting at a safe distance from one another.

Eunhee didn't question what was going on between the two, and instead beamed at Suho, who she hadn't seen around the house as much as she usually did, "Suho! It's good to see you back."
