it had been three days since jasper was brought back to the camp, he still wasn't better. arabella was currently watching murphy failing to throw a knife at a tree, she found it extremely amusing, he kept on using the excuse that jasper was putting him off.

murphy tried again, obviously failing. "it's that damn kid alright, he's messing with my head." he motioned to the dropship.

"excuses, excuses, murphy." Bella said as she took the axe from him and launched it at the tree, hitting it almost perfectly in the middle. "that's how it's done."

"show off." murphy muttered.

atom and another boy name jones walked up to bellamy and murphy, not yet noticing arabella who was sat on the ground watching the boy's conversation.

"we searched a half-mile all directions, no sign of trina or pascal." atom spoke.

"visit your special tree when you were out there?" murphy teased walking past the boy to pick up his knife, arabella had only found out what they did to atom because murphy told her.

"atom took his punishment. let it go." bellamy snapped at murphy.

"could be grounders." atom stated.

"yeah, or they could be in pound town. lot of that going around recently." murphy teased Atom again.

"john! stop it." arabella scolded throwing a stick at her best friend, she found it very unfair stringing up atom from a tree just because he and octavia were a thing.

octavia came into arabella's view, the girl had just thrown some water into a bush, she was trying to get stom's attention but he barely even glanced at her. arabella gave the girl a shrug and a sad smile.

"look bellamy, people are scared and that dying kid, he's not helping the morale around here." atom whispered slightly to bellamy.

"morale will go up when i find them more food." bellamy told him.

"and what do we say when they ask about trina and pascal?" jones asked.

"now? nothing. it's possible they're just lost." bellamy told them.

"yeah, or they're dead." arabella muttered loud enough for the boys to hear, they all turned and glared at the girl. "what?" she asked innocently.

"we'll keep an eye out for them when we go hunting later." bellamy finished.

"let's go kill something." murphy muttered, turning to follow bellamy.

bellamy turned around putting his hand on murphy's chest. "you're not going." he whispered to him "i need you to stay here, if the grounders are circling we can't leave this place unprotected."

"fine. somebody better tell goggle boy to keep it shut."

"arabella." bellamy called out to the girl. "you're with me." he told her. arabella grinned skipping over to Murphy.

"haha i get to kill something." she teased.

"bella, shut up." murphy joked smiling down at the girl.

"don't worry i won't get myself killed." she told him as he hugged her best friend. "oh by the way if you touch a hair on jasper's head, you and i are gonna have some very big problems." arabella poked him in the chest, she had a deadly look on her face, which scared murphy quite a lot.

"i won't do anything i promise."

"good. okay bye!" she smiled and she went to catch up with bellamy.

arabella was speaking with bellamy about weapons or something, she wasn't paying much attention, then a very angry octavia stormed into the tent.

"what did you do to atom?" she asked bellamy.

"atom's fine." he bluntly replied.

"then why did he blow me off?"

"maybe he's just not interested."

arabella sat back and watched the siblings encounter, bellamy had a smug look on his face while octavia's was angry.

"you can't keep everyone away from me." octavia snapped at her older brother.

"atom had to learn. you disobey me, you pay the price. he paid the price, now we're good." bellamy spoke, making arabella scoff. "got something to say, sweetheart?" he looked down at the girl with a glare.

"nope." Arabella rose her hands in defense, a smug smile on her face, she did have something to say but she wasn't going to get involved with the sibling's argument, it wasn't her place to do so.

"now i'm paying the price. so next time you decide to go on a power trip, leave me out of it." she snapped.

arabella quickly stood up when she heard jasper's screams coming from the dropship. "oh no." she muttered as she ran out of the tent, octavia hot on her trail.

the girl practically jumped up the ladder. "stop it! you're killing him." she shouted at   clarke, she ran and knelt next to the girl, who had a knife in her hand.

"she's trying to save his life." finn told her.

"she can't." arabella looked up to see bellamy looking down at jasper.

wells stood up. "back off."

"we didn't drag him through miles of woods just to let him die." clarke told bellamy.

"kid's a goner." bellamy stated. "if you can't see that, you're deluded. he's making people crazy."

"bellamy shut up." arabella shot.

"sorry if jasper's and inconvenience to you, but this isn't the ark, dow here every life matters!" clarke argued not even bothering to look at bellamy.

"take a look at him. he's a lost cause."

arabella ran her hand over her face, she looked at jasper who was pale and sweaty. as much as she didn't like to admit, maybe bellamy was right.

"arabella. octavia, I've spent my whole life watching my mother heal people. if i say there's hope, there's hope." clarke told the two girls.

"this isn't about hope, it's about guts. you don't have the guts to make the hard choices. i do." bellamy spoke. "he's been like this for three days if he's not better by tomorrow. i'll kill him myself." he snapped. "octavia, let's go."

"no I'm staying." she replied, bellamy, nodded and ascended down the ladder.

arabella got up from where she was sat, following bellamy out of the dropship.

"bellamy!" she shouted gaining his attention.

"what is it, sweetheart?" he calmly asked.

"please give us a chance to help jasper, that's all i'm asking for please." she begged. "he's my friend."

bellamy looked at the girl, he noticed how soft her facial features were and how tears were slightly forming in her eyes. "fine. but arabella you need to understand that if he's not better soon i'm gonna have to do something, it's driving everyone crazy." he sighed.

"he will get better i know it, clarke just left with wells and finn to go find some sort of seaweed that could help jasper." she smiled.

"alright, anyway you still up to hunt?" he smirked raising his eyebrow.

"of course I am." the girl grinned.
