arabella walked over to clarke and raven. "how's he doing?" she asked.

"i... am... done!" clarke said happily.

"good. do you have anything to cover the wound?" abby spoke, her voice static.

"we'll make do, like always." clarke replied.

raven took a rag and held it on finn's forehead. "should he be this pale?" the girl asked. "warm, too."

"he's lost a lot of blood, raven. but if your boyfriend's anywhere near as tough as you, i'm sure he'll be fine." abby soothed the girl.

arabella reached out to rub clarke's arm after seeing the look on her face.

clarke held the back of her hand on finn's chest. "wait, mom, she's right." her concerned voice broke through. "he's feverish, and his breathing's uneven."

"well, you need to give him some time to recover." abby told her daughter. "let me know if he gets any worse, but i think... i think he might just be out of the woods."

"well, down here, there's nothing but woods."

arabella let out a quiet chuckle, clarke and raven sending her a look, she coughed awkwardly. "sorry, i thought- never mind." she sighed walking away.

arabella went up to the ladder, looking up at it deciding whether she could see bellamy again without punching him in his stupidly gorgeous face. she took in a deep breath. "screw it." she huffed climbing up the ladder.

she threw open the hatch, bellamy's eyes instantly on the girl.

"finn's okay, thanks for asking." arabella sarcastically told him, seeing an old leather book in bellamy's hand she walked over and took it from him.

looking through the pages, her brows raised when she saw a beautiful drawing of octavia, the next page being a drawing of their camp, arabella took in a breath seeing lines and ten of them being crossed out.

"what is this?" she asked quietly, turning to the grounder. no reply. arabella stepped closer to the large man. "i don't want them to hurt you like this, and im so sorry for what these animals are doing to you."

"bella-" bellamy spoke.

she turned to bellamy. "shut up." looking back at the grounder, who was staring at her. "please, i am begging you to tell us how many of you there are. i never beg. trust me."

the grounder was still silent. "can you even understand us?"

nothing. again.

arabella sighed. "i'm trying to help you, i may not be a good person but i am not evil... or heartless." her mind going to when she and bellamy had to spend the night in a cave. "we are trying to survive, i'm sorry for what they have done to you, but you aren't helping yourself." she finished walking over to bellamy, pushing the book into his chest.

the hatch opened again, and clarke stepped out until one of the delinquents stood in front of her.

arabella bit her tongue, trying not to hit this guy in his stupid face.

"get the hell out of my way." clarke demanded.

"it's okay. let her through." bellamy spoke, sending a nod to the boy.

clarke stepped past the boy, the bloodied-up grounder being revealed to her. she slowly turned to bellamy. "well, if he didn't hate us before, he does now."

"who cares?" bellamy replied.

"his people will care." clarke answered back, her annoyance seeping through. "how long until they figure out where he is?" she paused. "and what happens when they do? i mean, when they come looking for him? they will bellamy."

"relax, princess. no one saw us take him. he was chained up in that cave the entire time, and thanks to the storm, we didn't see a soul on the way back."

"bellamy, he knows where our camp is! what makes you think the rest of them won't? hm?" arabella chimed in, an angered look on her face. "you may have not seen them but how do you know they didn't see you?"

"arabella i swear-" bellamy began but was interrupted by the drop ship loudly rumbling.

bellamy began flipping through the pages of the grounders book again. "ok. in case you missed it." he showed clarke the lines of how many people were in the camp and how many were crossed out. "his people are already killing us. how many more of our people need to die until you realise we're fighting a war?"

clarke shut the book. "look, we're not soldiers, bellamy. look at him."

arabella looked over at the man, suddenly feeling extremely sorry for him. while the others were distracted she walked over to him. "can you understand me?" she whispered.

the grounder said nothing but nodded his head ever so slightly, arabella smiled gratefully. "i'll make sure someone gets you out of here, i know someone who quite enjoys your company."

arabella looked at the man once more, before she heard raven shout.

"clarke!" she yelled. "he's seizing!"

clarke ran to the hatch, quickly climbing down the ladder.

"arabella." she heard bellamy's voice. "get away from him, now."

arabella pulled her bottom lip between her teeth, biting down in annoyance and stalking over to the man. "bellamy blake, if you don't stop telling me what to do i'll-"

bellamy stepped closer to her, watching her chest rise and fall in anger. "you'll what, sweetheart?" he whispered to her.

"you're unbelievable, you'll flirt with any female you can get your hands on, won't you?"

bellamy shook his head. "no. just you."

arabella scoffed, clenching her jaw. "asshole." turning away from him.
