The scene is now changed showing one of the 'flying doughnuts' heading towards Thanos's ship. Another view of his ship is shown before its cut to show Gamora sitting down inside. She turns as she hears footsteps approaching and stands up.

Thanos is shown walking towards her as he then stops in front of her; handing over a little cup like tin with a spoon in it. It is filled with what seemed to be yogurt. "I thought you might be hungry." He implied to her.

She looked at it for a moment before taking it from his hand. She then looked up at him before chucking it at his throne like chair. It shattered the cup he had given her. "I've always hated that chair." She mentioned.

"So I've been told." Thanos said as he started to walk towards it. "Even so, I'd hoped you'd sit in it one day."

"I hated this room. This ship." She said. "I hated my life." Gamora looked at Thanos before taking a few steps away from him.

"You told me that too." He said as he walked up the steps towards his Throne chair. "Every day." He said down on the step. "For almost 20 years." He added.

"I was a child when you took me."

"I saved you." He said and that's when she turned to face him.

"No." She said shaking her head. "No. We were happy on my home planet."

"Going to bed hungry... scrounging for scraps." He stated. "Your planet was on the brink of collapse. I'm the one who stopped that. Do you know what's happened since then? The children born have known nothing but full bellies and clear skies. It's a paradise."

"Because you murdered half the planet."

"A small price to pay for salvation."

"You're insane." Gamora exclaimed

"Little one, it's a simple calculus. This universe is finite, its resources finite. If life is left unchecked, life will cease to exist. It needs correction." He said

"You don't know that!" She yelled

He sighs and made a face as he looked back at her "I'm the only one who knows that. At least, I'm the only one with the will to act on it." He mentioned and she looked away. "For a time... you had that same will..." he started to make his way down and towards him. "As you fought by my side. Daughter."

"I'm not your daughter." She finally said looking up at him in front of her. "Everything I hate about myself you taught me."

"And, in doing so, made you the fiercest woman in the galaxy." She looked down slightly as he continued. "That's why I trusted you to find the soul stone." That perked her interest as she looked back up at him.

"I'm sorry I disappointed you."

Thanos sighs as she lies straight to him. "I am disappointed." He managed to tell her. "But not because you didn't find it. But because you did. And you lied." They both looked at each other.

The next thing that shows is a large door being pulled up as Thanos and Gamora looks to see what awaits on the other side. What Gamora saw didn't please her. A piece of machinery moved around as Gamora made her way through towards Nebula that was seen being held in the air with her machine parts pulled apart a bit. "Nebula." Gamora said towards her sister.

"Don't do this." She said at Thanos

"Some time ago, your sister snuck aboard the ship to kill me."

"Please don't do this."

"And very nearly succeeded. So I brought her here. To talk." He said as he walked forward. Using his gauntlet, he pulled Nebula's machinery parts; causing her to scream in pain.

"Stop. Stop it." Gamora pleaded as she tried not to tear up. "I swear to you on my life. I never found the Soul Stone."

Thanos smiles as Nebula's memories starts to be accessed. A video is played as Nebula is heard through it, "you know what he's about to do. He's finally ready, and he's going for the stones. All of them."

"He will never get them all." Gamora could be heard in the tape.

"He will!"

"He can't, Nebula. Because I found the map to the Soul Stone... and I burned it to ash. I burned it."

The video stops as Thanos starts to speak. "You're strong. Me. You're generous. Me." He then stand directly behind Gamora as she looks down. "But I never taught you to lie. That's why you're so bad at it."

He moves his hand with the gauntlet in front of her as he asks and she looks ahead of her. "Where is the Soul Stone?" She doesn't reply as Nebula shakes her head. Thanos does the same motion with the gauntlet as Nebula screams in pain more.

"Vormir!" Gamora yells and he stops. She walks up to her sister as she places a hand on Nebula's cheek. "The Stone is on Vormir." Thanos smiles as he tells her "show me."

Scene cuts and now shows the little ship Rocket, Groot and Thor took. "I am Groot." Is heard from Groot himself as Rocket is shown flying the ship.

"Tinkle in the cup." Rocket said "we're not looking. What's there to see? What's a twig? Everybody's seen a twig before."

"I am Groot." Groot exclaims

"Tree, pour what's in the cup out in space and go in the cup again." Thor states as he's shown turning to face them.

"You speak groot?" Rocket asked as he turns in his chair

"Yes, they taught it on Asgard. It was an elective."

"I am Groot." Groot complained

"You'll know when we're close. Nidavellir's forge harnesses the blazing power of a neutron Star." He says as he takes a seat. "It's the birthplace of my hammer. Ya truly awesome."

Rocket looked at Thor before turning back. "Okay, time to be the captain.." he muttered before getting off of his seat and going towards Thor. Rocket pressed a few buttons on the side as he spoke. "So brother problems, I get it. Yeah, that can be annoying."

"Well, he's usually like that. It's part of his persona. But, no, this time I think he really might do something foolish."

"And you said your sister and your dad?"

"Both dead."

"But still got a mom, though?"

"Killed by a dark elf."

"A best friend?"

"Stabbed through the heart."

It was quiet for a moment before Rocket spoke, "you sure you're up to this particular murder mission?"

Thor looked up with his eyes a bit watery as he put on the fakest smile he could to keep his courage up. "Absolutely. Rage and vengeance, anger, loss, regret... they're all tremendous motivators. They really clear the mind. So I'm- I'm good to go." He nodded his head.

"Yeah, But this Thanos we're talkin' about... he's the toughest there is."

"Well, he's never fought me."

"Yeah, He has."

"He's never fought me twice. And I'm getting a new hammer don't forget."

"It better be some hammer." Rocket admitted as Thor tried to hide the pain by smiling. Keeping his hopes up.

He sighs as he talks to Rocket again, "you know, I'm 1,500 years old. I've killed twice as many enemies as that. And every one of them would've rather killed me, but none succeeded. I'm only alive because fate wants me alive. Thanos is just the largest in a long line of bastards.. and hell be the latest to feel my vengeance. Fate wills it so."

"Mmm-hmm. And what if you're wrong?"

A tear is seen streaming down Thor's face as he speaks, "Well if I'm wrong, then..." he takes a breath in then out, "what more could I lose?" He thinks for a moment as he looks away and wipes the tear he head released.

Rocket nods lightly as Thor then looks back at him. He gets up from his seat and starts walking as Rocket speaks up, "I could lose a lot. Me, personally, I could lose a lot." Although Thor didn't hear it as he sat down on the seat next to Groot.

Rocket is seen pulling out an eye from his pocket. "Okay." He muttered as he gets up and walks back towards the front of the ship. "Well... if fate does want you to kill that crapsack... you're gonna need more than one stupid eyeball." He told Thor as he handed him the eye.

"What's this?" Thor questioned

"What's it look like?" Rocket said as Thor takes the eye and inspects it. "Some jerk lost a bet with me on Contraxia."

"He gave you his eye?"

"No, he gave me 100 credits. I snuck into his room later that night and stole his eye." Rocket told him as he made it to his seat and faced Thor for a second before turning back to look ahead.

"Thank you, sweet rabbit."

"Hmm"

Thor then removed the patch from his eye and Groot was heard saying "huh?" As He started to insert the eye into his socket. Rocket turned slightly and saw.

"Oh. I would've watched that." Rocket said when he turned away from the scene. He clears his throat. "The only way I could sneak it off Contraxia was up my..."

An alarm started to bleep which took the conversation elsewhere. "Hey, we're here!" Rocket announced and Thor's new eye could be seen askew. He started to hit the side of his head as it was adjusting.

"I don't think this thing works. Everything seems dark."

Thor stands as Rocket tells him, "Well it ain't the eye."

As the ship they're all on us flying through, the place they've arrived is shown and isn't the all full color star kind of deal Thor was speaking of. Instead, it's all dark and nothing seems to be moving. "Something's wrong." Thor said as he looked and took in the scene. "The star's gone out. And the rings are frozen."

N I D A V E L L I R

As the ship flies closer, Rocket finds an entrance and decides to take it. Going though it, everything seems to get darker as Rocket then lands the ship down.

"I hope these dwarves are better at forging than they are cleaning." Rocket says as Groot's video game could be heard beeping in the background as they walked. "Maybe they realized that they live in a junk pile in the middle of space."

"This forge hasn't gone dark in centuries." Thor states as he looks around and the camera pans around to show the dark scene.

"You said Thanos had a gauntlet, right?" Rocket questioned as he was looking at an object.

"Yes, why?"

"It look anything like that?" Rocket asked as he pointed to the gauntlet replica standing off to the side.

Groot didn't like the feeling of the eerie vibe he was experiencing. "I am Groot."

"Go back to the pod." Thor told them and right as he said that, a dwarf came right up behind and threw Thor. It then kicked Groot and Rocket over to the side before going back over to Thor.

"Eitri, Wait!" Thor yelled when the Dwarf roared in frustration. "Stop!" Thor raised a hand "Stop."

"Thor?"

Thor nodded his head. "What happened here?"

"You were supposed to protect us." Eitri started to say as he raised his voice. "Asgard was supposed to protect us."

"Asgard is destroyed." Thor announced as he stood up. "Eitri, the glove. What did you do?"

Eitri walked away as Rocket stood back up and Groot was too as he checked on his game. That's when the Dwarf sat down. "300 dwarves lived on this ring. I thought if I did what he asked, they'd be safe." Thor sighed. "I made what he wanted. A device capable of harnessing the power of the stones.." Rocket looked over at him as he stutters to say the next thing. "Then he killed everyone anyway. All except me." He told Thor before added "your life is yours, he said." Eitri sighed as he raised a hand. "But your hands are mine alone."

"Eitri, this isn't about your hands. Every weapon you've ever designed, every axe, hammer, sword, it's all inside your head. Now, I know it feels like all hope is lost. Trust me, I know. But together, you and I, we can kill Thanos."
