Another day passed, and Wanda refused to be stuck inside of the couch room any longer.

She wore a coat, nothing too heavy, and new sweatpants so she wasn't shivering, but other than that she looked good as new.

Her face probably had the most damage, dealing with frostbite. Thankfully they mostly just looked flushed.

Her fingers also had frostbite, but considering the amount of times she attempted her magic and received burns in response, the frostbite wasn't the issue.

"He's building an army, and he needs America's power to finish it." Loki finished recapping what all he could about his and Wanda's adventure with the variants.

"So if my variant is killed, I need to figure out how to break this burn curse she put on me." Wanda sighed.

"It's just on your hands currently, correct? Only the place that your magic is touching is getting burned?" Strange asked.

"Yeah, pretty much."

"We're getting off track, we need to figure out how to kill this man and get him out of our universe." Wong said.

"We can't kill him." Loki said, cutting him off. "Or well, if we did, another version of him would come in and take over, possibly unleashing a stronger variant of him."

"So then we need to trap him. Make sure he can't terrorize this universe then." America suggested.

"If we find his gauntlet, we can lure him in." Strange added.

"Or America could be bait."

Every turned and glared at Loki, even Wanda, and he held up his hands in a fake 'sorry' motion.

"Kidding."

"We need to find the gauntlet first." Wanda said. "Sylvie apparently gave it to someone and Kang thought Loki or I got it, which I assume is why he went after us."

"So then we find Sylvie." Strange said.

"Only thing is, we don't know where she is. The Wanda variant claimed she was in Asgard, but they didn't know what time. But if Sylvie really is taken by the TVA, I would assume it's somewhere more secure than Asgard." Loki explained.

"It's worth checking out." Wong said, rubbing his chin.

"First, shouldn't we figure out how to trap him? I mean, if we get Sylvie or the gauntlet, he's gonna find out." America added.

"You could send him through a portal." Strange said.

"If I send him out of this universe, wouldn't another variant come in? It would be the same effects as him dying, right?" America asked.

"That does seem capable." Strange took back his previous statement.

"I made a whole pocket dimension once and the only time people broke out were when I let them. Maybe we could trap him like that." Wanda suggested.

"If his variant was responsible for making the TVA, it's possible he'll have tempads, machines, and more items that would allow him access to get out." Loki replied.

"That is true." Wanda paused.

"I wish we had the time stone. We could trap him in a sort of time loop." Strange muttered.

Wanda's eyes lit up.

"Then let's get the time stone! We could combine our magic, Asgardian, Sorcerery, and Chaos magic, make our own pocket dimension, and use the infinity stones to secure it. Not even Kang can overpower all of that, right?" Wanda suggested.

"That's a good idea but how do we get the time stone, let alone the rest of the stones? Are we gonna pull an Avengers and go back in time?" Strange crossed his arms.

"We don't have to." Loki spoke up. "The TVA has a multitude of each infinity stone. We can go there, take the stones, and slip out. They won't even know we were there."

"Maybe not you, but the rest of us aren't exactly 'sneaky'." Strange said.

"Then Wanda and I can go. We both know our way around the TVA and we can avoid soldiers." Loki smirked.

"Not a chance. Sure you didn't leave when the other variants took you, but I don't trust the two of you together on your own. I'll go with you. Wong can stay with America." Strange stated.

Loki rolled his eyes.

"How come I'm being left behind again!?" America argued. "This is so not fair."

"And what happened to me being the sorcerer supreme?" Wong added at Strange's orders.

"Okay, Wong you can go with these two in an unfamiliar place looking for infinity stones and I'll stay here with America." Strange shrugged.

"Also I will add, no magic can be used in the TVA. They have some sort of guard against it." Wanda added.

Wong sighed.

"Fine, I'll babysit."

America's mouth hung and she gave an annoyed groan before glaring at the group and crossing her arms.

Teenagers.

"So we get the infinity stones, get out, go to Asgard and find Sylvie, get the gauntlet from Sylvie or whoever she gave it to, then face off against Kang and the army or team he's created." Wanda nodded.

"Sounds simple enough." Strange hummed.

Loki summoned the Tempad that he'd taken from the other Wanda variant that she originally took from him.

"Is that the Tempad?" Strange asked.

"Yup." Loki replied.

"Then let's go. It's a wonder why we haven't been attacked in the past few days." Strange said.

Loki nodded, summoning two daggers before he casted a time door. Wanda walked through first, Loki followed, then Strange went in last, leaving Wong and America to wait for them to return.

As soon as they were in, the burns on Wanda's hands faded and she looked down at them. The men next to her gave a bit of a confused look, but none of them said anything about it.

Another thing, Strange's animate cloak stopped moving. It grew heavier and became a regular red cloak.

"Well this is just great." Strange muttered, taking off his cloak and carefully folding it.

"I don't recognize these halls." Wanda said, her voice near a whisper.

"Neither do I, and I'm sure I've been through them before." Loki commented.

"Great. So neither of you know where to go?" Strange asked.

"Let's split up. If you can't find anything, meet back here." Loki suggested.

"That's a terrible idea." Wanda replied.

"It'll work. Just look for the shiny stones. Don't get caught." Strange said.

Loki and Strange broke off, Strange now caring the cloak like it was a large rag. Loki going left and Strange going right. Wanda gave a sigh.

"Men." She muttered before walking straight ahead.

Loki walked and walked, turning corners and somehow managing to hide from all the guards that he came across. Those who somehow saw him, ignored him, which may have been the most helpful thing.

He was growing confused though, since he had expected at least a bit of a fight to begin with. Either way, he wasn't finding the infinity stones.

He did come across a door which he knew led to Ravonna's office. He knew that place didn't have the stones, but perhaps it would hold someone new who could tell him where the stones were located.

He carefully opened the door, glad there were no creaks. He walked into a small hallway that lead out to a large room. On one side of the room, many trophies and souvenirs stood on shelves, on the other was a large bookshelf.

The room was different from when Loki had been in here last, but most of the items were the same.

"No, these variants are very dangerous individuals. I mean, the fact that Maximoff let them slip right through her fingers! Magical fingers, might I add."

Loki immediately recognized that voice and he gave an internal sigh. Ravonna was still alive.

"I'm not saying they aren't dangerous, I'm asking why we're fighting them now. I thought the whole point of this was to let them join us!"

Loki recognized that voice too. Mobius.

He poked his head out from the darkened hall and saw the two talking to one another. Just like old times.

-----

Strange walked down the hall, his folded cloak in his hands. He could've left it at the meeting spot, but if he did find the stones, it'd be better for the cloak to hold it rather than himself. For instance, the power stone couldn't even be held without harming yourself.

He didn't recognize any of these halls, and he was starting to regret agreeing to this separation idea. In any case, it was too late to turn around now.

He entered a hallway that had multiple doors, all leading to different areas. The hall itself was a dead end, so Strange began debating which door to go through.

He heard a young man's voice and he moved against one of the walls that faced away from the man, so he would be hidden behind, but still be able to hear him.

"Look, I'm just a journalist for all this. I haven't even met the Kang guy!"

Heavy footsteps walked out and Strange heard some muffled sighs. He moved his head around the wall and saw the man.

He had a small name tag that said 'Casey', but other than that he wore a white polo shirt tucked into his pants. The man walked into one of the rooms and Strange followed him.

As soon as he walked in, he immediately regretted it. It was much larger than he thought it was, and many desks sat around, journalists in all of them.

Strange walked towards Casey, since he was at the desk closest to him, and if he turned around now, people would definitely notice.

Casey saw him and he squinted his eyes, looking Strange up and down, then he shrugged and awaited for whatever the man's request would be.

-----

Wanda walked down the hall. She'd taken off her coat and it was now tied around her waist. She walked through the halls cautiously, hoping no one would ask anything.

A few soldiers saw her, but none of them spoke to her. If anything, they backed away from her as if they were scared. Wanda was confused at first, wondering if she smelled bad, then she remembered her variant.

It was likely that all these soldiers knew her variant, and probably assumed that she was her. Good thing, Wanda could use that.

She lifted her chin, trying to seem more confident. Unfortunately, she had no idea where she was going. She heard a few mutters around her, probably wondering why she was in regular clothes rather than the Scarlet Witch suit.

Wanda turned to a new hallway and spotted B-15, making her mutter an unkind thing under her breath. If B-15 was still here, it was likely that Kang had her under his control, meaning she and the evil variant of Wanda probably knew one another.

"Wanda! Did the work with the variants go as planned? I haven't received much news about anything currently." B-15 said, spotting Wanda and making her way over to her.

"Uh, no. They managed to escape and now they're on the hunt, searching for Sylvie, uh, the other Loki variant." Wanda did her best to have a commanding tone, trying to seem more like the variant.

"Well, she's still locked up. No way the variants are getting to her without us knowing. What happened to your suit?" B-15 replied.

"I had to change. I had a run in with Loki while looking for the gauntlet and I changed to make it seem like I was the other Wanda variant."

This was not going to be easy. Lying was not a strong suit of hers.

-----

Loki listened in on the two, hiding himself once more.

"They killed our strongest weapon! Personally, I wouldn't let them join after that." Ravonna said to Mobius.

"Maximoff is dead?" Mobius asked.

Ravonna stopped short, regretting having said that.

"Yes. But don't tell anyone. If we do, people will start panicking and thinking that we're weaker than we claim to be."

"What about B-15?" Mobius asked.

"Definitely not B-15. It's hard enough, keeping her from killing the Loki variant. If she finds out that her closest friend is dead. I... I don't know what she would do. Just keep this hidden for now until after we get the girl." Ravonna sighed.

There was a moment of silence, and Loki peeked his head out again, looking at the two where now staring at one another, both looking stressed at the situation.

"Fine. I understand." Mobius said. "I'll leave you be and update you if I find anything."

"Thank you Mobius."

Loki heard footsteps coming his way, and he quickly left the room, shutting the door as quietly as he could. He looked around for a place to hide from Mobius, knowing that this Mobius wasn't the same one that Loki knew, but the area around was nothing but comforters.

He ran out of time when Mobius walked out of the room and immediately spotted Loki.

-----

Strange arrived at Casey's desk and gave a fake smile.

"Hi. I'm uh, I'm looking for the infinity stones." He said. "I can't seem to remember where they were put." He added, unsure if this excuse would get by.

"Okay! I have plenty in my drawer if you need some." Casey gestured for Strange to come around, so he did, confused as to how this worked so easily.

The young journalist opened his desk drawer and Strange's eyes widened at the amount of colorful stones that were in front of him.

"Pick any you want. Jeremy and I share some so as long as you don't take over eight, I can just get more." Casey said cheerfully.

Strange picked out one of each color and he put them in his cloak, using the red cloth like a pocket.

"Thank you! You're a life saver." He said, his cheery attitude barely seeming convincible.

"Hey I don't think I know your name, where's your name tag?" Casey asked.

"His name is Steven Strange."

Ah. That's where this becomes more difficult. Why couldn't life be easy sometimes? Strange turned around, coming face to face with one of his former mentors.

"Mordo, hi."

-----

"So where is the other Loki variant currently?" Wanda asked, hoping it wouldn't sound like a dumb question. Her other variant probably knew where Sylvie was.

"Same place. She hasn't been moved yet. Are you okay? You seem calm considering you didn't finish your mission. I mean, I can't begin to imagine how Kang is treating this." B-15 laughed.

Wanda had never seen her like this. She seemed to be enjoying her time, unlike when Wanda started out and she was just all stern and glared at everyone.

"Honestly I'm not sure. I think Loki did something to my head." Wanda saidwith a fake laugh, hoping that sounded like something that could happen.

"Did you at least get the curse on the other Wanda variant? I know Kang sees her as one of the main threats right now."

"Uh yeah. Yeah I got the curse on her, then I sent her to a blizzard. I told Loki that he could save her by joining us but he fought instead." Wanda said, remembering what Loki had explained to everyone about his time with the Wanda variant.

"Nice." B-15 said, holding out her fist.

Wanda assumed she wanted a fist bump or something, so she awkwardly returned the gesture. B-15 gave a bit of a confused look, but she shook it off.

"So what did Loki do to your head?" She asked.

"Um, he scrambled my memory. That's why I'm asking about the other Loki variant." Wanda said.

"I'll take you to her then, maybe a visit from you will put her in her place. She's only seen Hunter Grey and she claimed she didn't care about the threats." B-15 said.

Wanda was confused as to why some hunters had numbers and now one was a color. Weird.

"Yeah. Sounds like a plan."
