Loki stopped short, meeting the eyes of his old friend.

"You're not supposed to be here." Mobius said, stopping any thoughts of their still being a good relationship between them.

"Mobius, you're being brainwashed by Kang." Loki tried to explain.

"You're the Loki variant, aren't you? Why should I believe a word that comes out of your mouth?"

What Loki couldn't see was behind Mobius, he carried a Tempad and clicked a button, alarming other hunters to come to his aid since he carried no weapon on him, but Loki had two.

"You shouldn't, and that's a problem we had to being with. But do you not remember anything? Ravonna pruned you and you escaped the void with me and Wanda!" Loki said.

"Look, I don't know you but if you don't put down those daggers then my friends are going to get to know you quite well." Mobius threatened.

Loki gave a sigh and he set down his daggers on the ground, trying to not seem like a threat.

"See? I'm not going to hurt you! Because we're friends, Mobius. You and I are friends." He said, his arms waving wildly to prove a point.

"Look, I have a plain face. If we're apparently friends, I probably just remind you of someone that you knew a while back."

"You do remind me of someone I knew a while back! Yourself. Wanda and I had to leave and we couldn't get to you in time and the whole brain wave things happened and now your back to how you were in the beginning!"

"Loki, you're making no sense to me right now. Calm down and cooperate with my men and we can talk in a different setting." Mobius said, his voice much calmer than Loki's.

Loki turned as he heard footsteps of people coming towards him, hunters to be exact. He gave an annoyed groan before grabbing his daggers off the ground and fighting the hunters so he could run and get back to the meeting place.

Mobius backed up, not getting involved in the fight, but many questions on his mind about this.

-----

"So what universe are you from? Are you straight up evil or do you think you have good intentions?" Strange asked.

The men circled one another, except one had a sword and the other had a cloak with worthless stones, for now.

"838. Last time I saw you, you left me in the ditch of a building while Maximoff killed my fellow members. Now you're working with the witch?" Mordo asked.

"Variant of her, yeah. And this time, I don't even care if she kills your fellow members cause you guys keep coming after America." Strange shrugged.

"I have no need for the girl, and I wouldn't say they are my fellow members. I'm just here cause I was promised revenge on the people that killed my actual friends."

"I assume that's us?"

"You're so smart."

Mordo ran at Strange and Strange's first instinct was to summon a portal, then halfway through Mordo's sword swinging at him, he realized he couldn't do that.

He leapt out of the way, receiving a painful cut in his leg that made him limp.

Well this ought to be fun.

"Can we not do this now? It feels like a very unfair fight." Strange said, using his cloak to wrap his leg, still concealing the stones in a pocket of the cloak.

Mordo stood at the other side of the room, watching him curiously since he seemed more annoyed rather than mad, and mad is kind of what Mordo wanted him to be.

"Unfair is fine with me." Mordo stated.

"Can you not do it here?" Casey cut in from behind them.

Both men turned and looked at him and he cowered behind his desk.

"It's just, uh, you're kind of messing up the office and it's not easy to fix this place." He said, his voice squeaking.

Mordo rolled his eyes.

"Strange, be a gentleman and exit the room. I'll follow you out."

Strange took the opportunity and he limped out, slower than what he knew he could do, mostly just to throw off Mordo and make him think he caused the doctor more pain than he actually did.

As soon as he was out of the room and the door shut, Strange bolted, running as fast as his limp leg would let him. He ran into another room and quickly shut the door, hoping Mordo hadn't made it out of the room yet.

He turned his head and realized he was in a library. No one seemed to care for his presence, which made him give a sigh of relief. He looked around for another exit, knowing Mordo would probably check this room first.

Luckily, he saw one, and he went that way.

Now he just needed to make it back to the meeting spot.

-----

Wanda followed B-15, not saying much. She hated acting like this, especially after she'd actually gotten to know B-15 once the TVA was at it's downfall. Now everything had reset and it was all very annoying.

They walked inside of a room that Wanda didn't recognize, and B-15 walked over to where a gap in the wall was. Wanda followed and her eyes widened as she saw Sylvie there, staring up at the wall.

"Hey, variant. You have a new visitor." B-15 said, hitting an invisible wall that stood between them and Sylvie.

Wanda needed to get through that.

Sylvie sighed and sat up before stopping and staring at Wanda, trying to figure out what was going on before putting on a blank face.

"So you're the famous Scarlet Witch variant, are you not?" She asked, crossing her arms.

"Uh.." Wanda knew B-15 was still in the room so she tried to be intimidating. "Indeed I am. And you're the famous Loki variant that keeps screwing up stuff?"

She felt so mean.

Sylvie glared at her.

"My name is Sylvie, thank you." She stated.

"Sylvie. Got it." Wanda said, her own eyes narrowing.

The two stared at one another, and Wanda wished she could use her magic to form some sort of telepathic connection to tell Sylvie she was a good guy.

"Well Sylvie, I had a recent run in with your variant, the actual Loki, and a variant of myself. Now they're out looking for you. So not only have you put yourself in a predicament, but your friends as well. They're not getting through our system without us knowing." Wanda said.

B-15's head faced the back of Wanda's, so Wanda attempted at doing facial motions.

'I'm GOOD Wanda.' She attempted at mouthing. Sylvie cocked her head to the side so Wanda tried again. 'I'm,' She made a happy face and, since her hands were in her lap, she made a thumbs up as well. 'Wanda.'

This time, Sylvie got it. Or at least Wanda assumed she did.

"I don't know why they would want me, I'm the one who started this whole mess. How about you go tell them that." Sylvie rolled her eyes.

"Perhaps, but you also have the gauntlet. That's quite annoying for us too. So tell us the location of it, or your friends are in a lot of trouble." Wanda said.

Sylvie glanced behind her at where B-15 was.

"No. I guess you'll just have to come back later. Perhaps bring a weapon or something. Bribe me." Sylvie said, looking back at Wanda.

Wanda turned around and saw B-15 start at her, swinging her prune stick angrily. Wanda ducked out of the way just in time and she rolled across the floor.

"Who the hell are you?" B-15 asked, pointing the prune stick, which was turned on and ready to zap Wanda back to the void.

"Okay, it's a lot to explain but I am someone you know. The Kang man, he did something, thwarted your mind and now you don't remember me, you only know an evil version of me." Wanda said, backing up as B-15 sauntered forward.

"Where is the Wanda that I know then?" B-15 demanded.

"She's gone. She attacked us and Loki got the best of her." Wanda said.

She hit a wall and B-15 was still coming towards her. She glanced around the room, but didn't see any extra weapons that might help her in this situation.

"You're a liar. That foolish man couldn't kill her, where is she?" B-15 asked, pointing the prune stick at Wanda, causing the end to be just a foot away.

"Please, put down the prune stick and I'll explain everything. We're not the bad guys here."

"I don't want your pathetic explanation!"

Wanda dove out of the way, pushing off of the wall as B-15 swung the stick at her. She grabbed the chair she'd been sitting on and she used all the strength she had to break off a leg of it so she could fight back.

"You and Mobius were friends of mine and Loki. I shouldn't have left you behind when I sensed this happening, that's on me, but now you have to believe me." Wanda begged.

"No, I don't trust a word coming out of your mouth, variant." B-15 charged at Wanda.

The two dueled one another, both evenly matched, both avoiding the end of the other's weapon for fear of being stabbed or sent to the void at the end of time.

Wanda got the upper hand when she ducked down and kicked B-15 in the legs, causing the woman to trip. Wanda snatched the prune stick from her and pointed it at her, thankfully keeping her on the ground like this.

"I don't want to hurt you, B-15. I want to show you the truth. Come with me and I can do that." Wanda said, her voice somber.

"No. I'd rather die than join the enemy." B-15 stated.

Wanda gave a sigh.

"Fine, be like that. Unlock Sylvie's cell and I'll leave you alone." She ordered.

When B-15 didn't do anything, Wanda moved the prune stick closer to her and thankfully the hunter's mind didn't like the idea of death anymore. Sylvie's cell opened, the transparent wall shinning into orange and yellow colors, opening.

The variant got out and stretched.

"Well that was fun." Sylvie said, popping her knuckles.

Wanda threw the prune stick to the other side of the room, giving one last glance to B-15 before leaving the room with Sylvie.

"Come on, one of the guys probably has the Infinity stones. Let's go."

Wanda said, picking up her pace and heading towards the way she came.

"Guys? There's more than one now? And why do you need infinity stones?" Sylvie asked, jogging next to her.

"Yeah, Steven Strange. He's a sorcerer. And the infinity stones are to help us get back at these guys. I'll tell you everything when we're out of where Kang rules."

The four all arrived back at the meeting point around the same time, and Loki quickly spawned the time door, running through. Strange went in next and Wanda glanced back, seeing a bunch of hunters running towards her from the direction Loki went.

"And he was supposed to be the sneaky one." She sighed before exiting, Sylvie coming in last.

They arrived back at the Kamar-Taj, the sorcerer's workplace. America hopped up immediately and hurried over to them.

"What happened to your leg?" She asked.

Wanda let out an internal hiss of pain as all the burns in her hands returned, and she looked at Steven's leg, which had his cloak wrapped around it. And the cloak looked a darker red than usual.

"Oh, I had a run in with an old mentor and he kind of attacked me, cutting me leg." Strange said as if it weren't a big deal.

"Did someone find the infinity stones at least?" Loki asked.

"Yeah, I did. Your welcome." Strange added.

Just then, Loki noticed Sylvie and his mouth hung for a moment.

"Hi." He said with a nod.

"Hi." Sylvie replied.

"Unwrap your leg. I'm not a doctor but I am a healer." Wanda said.

"Wanda, you burn yourself everytime you use magic, don't hurt yourself for me." Strange said as he unwrapped his leg.

The infinity stones fell out of the pocket and the cloak immediately scooped them back up, zooming around for a bit, glad to be animate again.

"I'll be fine. Besides, you helped me once. It's my turn to help you." Wanda said.

She knelt down and put her hands where the cut was on his leg. It definitely wasn't a small cut, it was long and deep.

Wanda closed her eyes, red magic streaming from her hands. She bit her tongue in order to focus her pain away from her burning hands. She created a healing hex and Strange let out a groan of pain as Wanda mended his skin, forcing it to reconnect and cause the scar to not even be visible.

Wanda removed her hands and noticed that her arms had burns on them now as well, the curse was spreading.

"Thank you." Strange said sincerely.

He stood up and shook his leg for a moment glad that he could maneuver it without pain again.

"Well this has been a fun display of power, now can someone please explain to me what's going on?" Sylvie asked, interrupting the moment.

America looked at her and examined her face for a moment.

"You're Sylvie, right?" She asked.

"Yeah?"

"It's nice to meet you." America said, holding out her hand.

Sylvie gave a confused look, then awkwardly shook her hand. America's facial expression changed from bland, to stars in her eyes.

"I've never met a female Asgardian before, at least not up close." She said giddily.

"Oh. Uhm.. Yeah I'm gonna sit down." Sylvie said, taking a seat as she said she would.

"Alright, it's not an incredibly long story but it does have details...." Loki explained the story to Sylvie as best he could, Wanda filling in the details he missed, and it ended with, "And now we need to find the gauntlet."

Wanda nodded.

"And I guess this means we won't go to Asgard cause you're not in Asgard like the other variant of me claimed." She said.

"No, no we still need to go to Asgard." Sylvie said.

"Why?" Loki asked.

"That's where I have the gauntlet. I made up with an old friend."
