After Kai came back... he sat down beside Taehyun and asked him:
"Are you feeling fine now Taehyun?"
"Y-yea... I'm f-fine now....but i feel scared"
"I understand...anyone would be scared if they get attacked like this... don't worry I'm here with you, you should go to sleep now"
"Yea i have school tomorrow too"

Kai sits on the sofa in the living room and Taehyun slips under the covers and tries to sleep. As he was trying to sleep...he felt something over his head...and when he moved his head towards it...he saw the same shadow looming over him. His eyes widened in shock and he scareamed.

"Was that Taehyun? God did something happened again? Shit"

Hearing Taehyun's voice Kai ran inside taehyun's bedroom to see Taehyun on the ground...and a shadow standing infront of him.

"Taehyun!" Kai called him and Taehyun looked at Kai...scared and terrified.

The shadow vanished hearing Kai's voice...and Kai hurriedly walked towards Taehyun holding his hands.

"Taehyun? Are you fine? Did you got hurt again?"
"Stay with me."
"Huh?"
"I said stay with me!" Taehyun said with teary eyes and Kai's heart broke a little.

"Okay... I'll sleep beside you...seems like the ghost doesn't comes around when I'm near you"
Taehyun nods and walks upto his bed dragging Kai with him. They laid together and pulled the cover over their shoulders. Taehyun was now facing Kai.

"He doesn't looks like a ghost at all... instead he looks so beautiful up close..." Taehyun thought looking at Kai...but then he realised he was staring so he started looking around the room...and shit-

He saw the shadow in the corner of his room... it's eyes glowing in the dark and it had a wicked smile.

"K-kai"
"Mmm what?"
"The g-ghost is there again...s-staring at m-me"
"Where?"

Kai looked behind him and saw nothing....he sighs and hugs Taehyun closer...so that Taehyun's face was now near his neck...taehyun got surprised by the sudden act but he wrapped his arms around the other snuggling close.

"Now you won't be able to see the ghost and neither it will" kai said running his hands through Taehyun's hair.
"Thankyou Kai" taehyun said smiling.
"You're welcome, now sleep"
"Yep....but you don't sleep?"
"Nope i don't feel sleepy as I'm a ghost"
"Oh- then are you gonna stay awake this whole time?"
"Yeah i guess"
"I'm sorry for dragging you here with me then" taehyun said moving away from Kai but he pulled him back.

"Don't be sorry... it's not your fault...plus i don't want you to get hurt and it feels good to stay with you than roaming around"

Taehyun's heart skipped a beat hearing His words...and the way he pulled him close. He didn't knew where these weird feelings were coming from and that too for a ghost. But for now he will ignore it and enjoy being in Kai's embrace.

"Okay then... goodnight Kai"
"Goodnight Taehyunnie"
"I like this nickname" taehyun wishpered but Kai heared him and just smiled.
He liked seeing the human smile...it made his non-existent heart beat faster than usual.

Soon Taehyun drifted off to sleep...and kai was now staring at his face.
"He sure is a work of Art....he got such amazing facial features...and he looks so cute while sleeping" kai thought to himself.

Soon kai also felt his eyelids dropping and he fell asleep too...but how? He was a ghost and he wasn't supposed to sleep...so why did he fell asleep? He had yet to find about himself and now he got a new task "to protect Taehyun".

Next morning Taehyun woke up first to see Kai's sleeping face infront of him. He felt blood rushing to his face as he saw they cuddled to sleep. Then a thought came to his mind-

"Wait Kai said ghosts don't sleep...so how is he sleeping? What if he's not a ghost but an angel? Because he surely looks like one-"

He was staring at Kai....when he felt kai moving a little so he stopped staring at him. Soon Kai opened his eyes and said "Goodmorning Taehyunnie" and closed his eyes again.
"Goodmorning Kai" taehyun replied and smiled. He was going to get up but kai was still holding him tight.
"Wake up now kai, i need to go school too"

Kai groaned and let Taehyun go. Taehyun walked towards the bathroom still thinking about how can a ghost be so nice and adorable. He entered the bathroom and started doing his morning routine.

While he was brushing his teeth...he felt a presence behind him.
"I-is it the ghost again? Even at morning oh shit nah"
He turned around to See Kai smiling at him. So it was Kai! He sighed in relief and continued to brush his teeth.

"What are you doing here?"
"Nothing....just wanted to be here hehehe"
"Tch you scared me for a moment there Huening"
"Oh really? I see- should i go away then?"
"I didn't say you should go away"
"But i need too... I'll back at evening okay? I don't think the ghost will attack you at school... it's a public place afterall!"
"Yea you're right! But where are you going?"
"I need to find about my identity.....i still don't know why I'm stuck here. And when i fell asleep today i saw a dream. Maybe it will help me know my identity"
"Ohh woa! All the best in finding your identity then! I'll go to school now."
"Byeee Taehyun see you later"

Saying that Kai vanished and taehyun went on doing on his thing...he was alone now...well not really- but he didn't knew that.
