Jin-Goo never came to school because his father took him out for breakfast, and after your encounter with Joonie, you decided not to hang out with the boys without Jin-Goo, but you and Tala decided to work on your assignments in the library. You were able to work there with permission from your Maths teacher, Ms Jung.

You can't put into words what you feel. Namjoon is graduating in a few months, and Jin-Goo says he will enroll at a Global online university since he is preparing for a debut in a few months.

Despite his stardom in Kpop, he will not give up studying. He owes so much to his parents for allowing him to pursue a music career.

Jin-Goo hopes to get a place at Seoul University or Harvard despite applying to several outstanding universities. He is not sure yet.

You were just informed three days ago by your school head that because of your credit and test scores, you will be able to graduate by the end of year three in 2013.

Each of you are an A+ student and will be transferring to year 3, class 1 (A-grades), which only has 10 students. Namjoon and Jin-Goo will be in that class.  

You and your friend practically beg your Headteacher to place you in class 2 (for B-grade students). Jin-Goos's and Namjoons' ex-girlfriends are in Class 3 (C-and D-grades) along with everyone else who bullies them.

I knew that Jin-Goo would be very excited about graduating with you. He is going to make sure that you are protected.

You have worked very hard at studying, but you told the teachers you and your best friend would start on Monday, but you got all the assignments and homework for year 3.

This is a time-consuming process. Your best friend, Jin-Goo, is helping you, and you are helping your friend, since she refused to sit with Jin-Goo. Having him there makes it impossible for her to concentrate.

You have already been pre-admitted to Harvard Law School.

When you and Namjoon passed each other in the hallways, your eyes briefly locked, and you both smiled softly. He will wink at you or place chocolate milk in your hand without saying a word and walk past you in the cafeteria.

As she grabs your arm to get you inside quickly, she locks the door. Your brows furrow. What's cooking? You can already feel the nervous butterflies in your stomach.

Jin-Goo, your "Dads", was sitting in the lounge with nervous and worried expressions on their faces. Jin-Goo jumped up and hugged You as soon as he saw You. They are your actual  secret service agents and bodyguards.

"Oh my gosh, what happened?" You hugged him back.

Your "mom" paced up and down and said, "Yes, Prince Ino succeeded his father. He was crowned King yesterday. Intel informed us. He and his men infiltrated the palace today, in order to force your parents to sign a marriage agreement."

You widen your eyes in fear. No, no, no! God, please. My parents.

Jin-Goo clenches his jaw in anger, "He doesn't give up. He sends intelligence around the world to find you. He is at wit's end. For four years, there has been no trace of you."

"OMG, My parents!!! He is crueler than his evil dad. My gosh, Jin-Goo, he''ll never give up. He overruled the soulmate system in their kingdom. People can marry who they want. Do you know how many of the red-gold string soulmates died in his country cause they can't bond with their soulmates? He hates the red gold strung." You feel the frustrations building up.

Your "Dad" pat you on the shoulders, "Jin-Goo and I went to the Embassy. All your information is still classified. No one knows about our residence here. Social Security did a thorough job. Our Alias is skin tight. So your safety is a priority."

Your eyes started to tear up," Prince Ino is 23 years old. Where is his soulmate? Why is he still after me".

Jin-Goo shook his head," You grandfather promised his grandfather when he was born that he'll marry one of his future granddaughters. For the amalgamation of two strong dynasties. When Prince Ino found out about it, on his mom's sickbed, that he promised her to get married to your grandfather's son daughter. That agreement is done to ensure peace between the two kingdoms, but Prince Inos' father went back on his word"

Jin-Goos "dad" answers,  " He stops our flower exports knowing it's our main source of economic power. His kingdom owns 40%the export  and imports through his region to the other countries...so he is blackmailing us to force the total surrender of the kingdom in their hands."

"And he will only settle and give us freedom if Prince Ino secures your hand in marriage. He's planning a coup. It already started" Jin-Goos ", dad" adds. Your "family" look livid and also worried about your safety and security.

You feel your legs tremble, and you plumbed down on the plush couches.

"O my word!!! My poor parents.What about my brothers?" You weakly asked.

Your "mom" with a worried look," Prince Ino, wants the crown Prince Alexander, but he was at a Summit in Munich. Our Intel already informed him, and he is under the protection of that government. He's at a safe house with his wife and the princes."

"Prince Luciano and Prince Miguel are with their soulmates. Prince Ino and his defence force have overridden our defence systems, and the military cannot enter palace grounds. It was well thought out." Your "dad" says.

As you look at each one, you ask, "So, what's the plan...is it still safe here in South Korea?"

Jin-Goo smiles with relief, "yes, the school records are classified. They don't even know about our past. There are thousands of families with Korean surnames here. We are very safe here."

As you stare at your "parents" with fear, you ask: "Are my parents safe? Prince Ino thought I was in a private school in Norway.".

"Your dads" are on their phones and at the security computers. They are getting information about the whereabouts of your parents and brothers.

As your "mom" answered her phone, she laughed and said," The military has gotten into the underground bunker that leads to the palace mausoleum. They should be able to get your parents to safety. As long as they are able to get one of the small aircraft to Spain, King Felix  and the Queen will be safe." Although she seems to be more relieved, she would be truly satisfied if the military succeeded.

"Thank God, I can't wait to finish school, go into permanent hiding, or meet my soulmate." You stand up, and you say, "I'll go refresh now. Please let me know if something changes; I'm too nervous to sit here right now."

"I'll bring you some food; just let me know when you're ready, Princess." Your "mom" tells you and gives you a tight hug.

Jin-Goo frowns at you and nods, "Do you have a lot of homework? I'll come up later to help you, ok, your Highness," he says with a smirk. Your nose wrinkles.

"I'm Choi Victoria or Vicky for all intents and purposes, and you are my closest friend, not a lethal bodyguard and cousin...Prince" You yell and run up the stairs to refresh yourself.

From the bottom of the stairs he yelled loudly, "ok, my princess...you are so cute no wonder Prince Ino has loved you so much since he was a snotty little boy,"

'Make sure he doesn't realize his dreams! I don't want to be the wife of that brat!' you yell.

You'll never get married to him. You hope your parents will not give in. Your government is in charge, and they are in your territory. Therefore, Prince Ino cannot force your kingdom to submit.

Despite being a monarchy, your family does not have full control over the political system of the country. Presidents and ministers act as your father's representatives.

You have learned that the rule of Prince Inos will be similar to that of North Korean dynasties.

After you've refreshed yourself and got your mind in order, you need to focus on something tangible, otherwise, the worry of your parents will drive you crazy. I wonder how they, your military managed to force their way in. You wonder if your parents are going to be hurt because there's no news on the Internet. 

Jin-Goo knocks and enters your room as you are taking out your science homework. His tall frame hovers over you as he looks at your homework.

"How are you doing...good news that our efficient military got in. There was a shoot-out, but our guards took some of Prince Ino's men out, and he managed to escape with his other guards. Your father received a flesh wound in his arm; your mother is fine but shaken up. They were taken to the secret villa in Spain." Your eyes widened, but you were glad your parents were alive even if Ino was gone.

As you sigh in relief, "Thank you, God! How's the palace?"

"Despite the shoot-out, the wing where your parents were held is a little chaotic. The military is taking charge until the investigation is complete, but all the staff is safe and are going about their duties. More guards are deployed around the kingdom," he says.

I'm so glad! Will we be going to Spain this summer?" you asked. With such a volatile climate, returning to the Philippines would be dangerous. Ino will not stop until he gets to you. Since you were a child, he was obsessed with you. It was never fun having play dates with him because he still hugs you against your will. He will tell you one day that you will be his queen.

Therefore, you can relax knowing that your alias was not compromised. Nobody knows anything about you. You had very long curly hair, but you cut and dyed it reddish-brown and wore black-rimmed glasses like an undercover nerd.

Jin-Goo sat in one of your lounge chairs.

"Vic, can I ask you something?" he looks at you seriously.

Your attention is on what you are writing in your book, not on anything around you. "Ermm...yes?"

"Is there anything you want to tell me?" he asks intently. The eyes of Jin-Goo are always intimidating. 

You furrow your brows, but your heart is pounding against your chest because you are too scared to reply. "Er...no." You stammer a little.

I heard that Namjoon gave you a drink and that you two were flirting with each other. Is that true?" His eyes looked hardened. No way! Namjoon will now be in trouble. The boys are not allowed to approach you without Jin-Goo present.

"My thirst made me take his drink. I liked chocolate milk, so I accepted. What does this mean? Are they not allowed to give me stuff?" You retorted nervously back.

"Yeah, Vic,I'm not stupid. I have been trained to observe mannerisms and behaviorism for years. You've liked Namjoon since last year. You know he has feelings for you, but you will never be able to date him?"A sad expression on your face tells him everything he needs to know. Though he feels sorry for you, your situation is not conducive to a romantic relationship.

Suddenly, your eyes started to well up with tears," Jin-Goo, I know... I'm sorry. When I tried to suppress my feelings, something happened, and he confessed to me, but he didn't want to date me because of your agreement...and I am aware of our circumstances. Although he doesn't know the real us...I will love him until I meet my destined soulmate?" The tears are streaming down your cheeks." Namjoon loves me too, so don't worry or be mad at him. We weren't going to date. He's going to pursue a music career and maybe forget about me when he becomes famous and gains thousands of beautiful fans. I may be in the United States, so it's no big deal," as you wipe away the tears, realizing that you had both found and lost love.

"It might be puppy love - but be careful no-one must find out about us, not even our friends...one word could kill them. Even your soulmate's life could be in danger, ok." He nodded.

You nod in agreement with that statement. When it comes to getting facts from people, Prince Ino will do anything to get them. He is known for using cruel torture methods. Defectors from his kingdom were recaptured and tortured to death or imprisoned for over 20 years in an underground prison. He lost his soulmate...apparently, she died in the river. Maybe he had something to do with it since he wants you to be his wife.

Jin-Goo smiles and hugs you at your shoulders," Stay away from Namjoon. I am not only your cousin, but I am also your protector and bodyguard. I have to keep you safe from danger...and love."
