EVANGELINE HILL-DENALI WAS NERVOUS, not about meeting the Cullens, about being in an event full of walking blood bags, she hadn't been around a human since the accident, and she was still having a hard time with her control.

Kate told Evangeline that it would be good practice, that being in a room full of humans, she could test her control.

So now they were staying in a hotel in Seattle, a 30-minute drive to Forks, standing in front of a mirror, smoothing out her dress.

The other three blondes decided to get ready in Evangeline's room to help each other with their hair and makeup.

They decided to go with gold dresses that matched their amber eyes.

Evangeline decided to do a loose bun with a gold flower pinned at the back, gold earrings that matched her gold dress, and gold heels Louboutin, Tanya helped her with her makeup, well it wasn't really needed, only for putting color to their faces.

Irina decided to go and try to have a good time with their "cousins" and meet the human herself.

"We look good," Kate says, joining Evangeline, checking herself out in the mirror.

"Indeed we do," Tanya says. She turns around to face Irina, "You said you'll give this a try."

"And I will, don't worry," Irina says while rolling her eyes, putting on her heels.

"Are you girls ready?" Carmen asks while slowly opening the door. Behind her was her mate, Eleazar.

"My girls are gorgeous, as always," Eleazar compliments them giving them a smirk.

"We should head out now so we don't get stuck in traffic," Carmen tells them, and they nod, picking up their purses and get the key card, and walk out the door.

"So, who's driving?" Evangeline asks.

"I am," Eleazar says, showing the car keys to her.

"Why do you always get to drive?" Kate scoffs, crossing her arms.

"Because when I drive, we don't get ourselves into a car crash," Eleazar says.

"That was one time we didn't even die in car crashes," Kate complains.

"We don't die, but fixing cars is expensive," Eleazar says as he opens up the door for his mate.

"OKAY, THIS IS TOTALLY A BAD IDEA," Evangeline says while holding her breath.

"I agree with her, but I have a different reason," Irina says while looking around, spotting a boy, maybe about 16 years old, smelling like a wet dog.

"Hey, you can do this. Just a couple more hours and we can go home," Kate says comfortingly while smoothing Evangeline's back.

A curled caramel-haired woman walks up to them with a motherly-like smile resting on her face.

"It's great to see you all," she greets, hugging them one by one.

"It's good to see you, Esme. This place looks amazing," Tanya compliments, looking around the venue.

Kate looks at Evangeline and nods at her pushing her slightly.

"Hi, I'm Evangeline. I haven't really introduced myself yet," Evangeline introduces with a polite smile.

"I've heard so much about you. Sadly when we came to visit, you were always away," Esme says.

"To pass the time," Evangeline says.

Then they heard a group of teenagers talking and staring at them.

"They have got to be related," A blonde teen says.

"Mike, you got a little drool," A brunette girl says, slightly annoyed.

Evangeline chuckles while shaking her head, teenagers.

"The wedding is about to begin, come. I'll guide you guys to your seats," Esme says, putting a hand on Evangeline's back.

THE VOWS CAME, AND IT FINALLY ENDED. Evangeline was completely in awe, fiddling with the gold band that rested on her ring finger, reminiscing a memory.

"Come on, let's go greet the newlyweds," Carmen says, arms looped around Eleazar's arm.

Walking towards the couple, Carmen suddenly pecks on the human's cheek.

"We've heard so much about you," Kate greets with a smile.

"Welcome to the family," Eleazar says to the human.

While the family seemed calm and collected, Evangeline was having a hard time. The human scent was the sweetest scent she had ever smelt beside from her lover.

"Irina, come meet Bella," Carmen says, looking at the two blondes who were at the back.

"I can't do this," Irina says.

"Me too," Evangeline says as she covered her nose, trying to control herself.

Kate walks up to Evangeline, holding her arm, just in case.

"You promised," Tanya says while looking at her.

"They invited one," Irina says while glaring at the young shape-shifter.

"Irina, he's our friend," Edward tells her.

"They killed Laurent," Irina says with gritted teeth.

"He tried to kill Bella," Edward says while holding Bella's arm.

"I don't believe that! He wanted to be like us. To live in peace with humans, with me," Irina argues.

"I'm sorry," Edward says, and Irina scoffs and leaves, Evangeline following behind her.

"Evangeline!" A chirpy voice calls her.

Evangeline turns around and sees a pixie girl jumping up and down and waving at her. The blonde girl signals her to go inside the house.

"Oh, Evangeline! It's been decades since I saw you!" Alice exclaims, bringing the blonde girl into a hug.

"It's nice to see you too, Alice," Evangeline says with a smile. She likes how cheery the pixie girl is.

"So, how was traveling the world? Shopping at every designer store? Studying college in Amsterdam? Sweden?" Alice asks rapidly.

"It's good. I've been having an amazing time. You should come with me sometime," Evangeline says with a smile.

"I would love that! By the way, you should meet my mate, Theodore," Alice says as she calls her mate to the kitchen where they are.

"Nice to finally meet you, Evangeline, Theodore Cullen, Edward's fraternal twin," Theodore introduces as he shakes her hand.

"I've met half of the Cullen Coven now," Evangeline says with a smile.

"Oh, you'll meet the rest of us later, after the newlywed's departure," Theodore tells her.

"Okay, good, because I've heard of you guys since I joined the Denalis, and I haven't formally met all of you," Evangeline says while shaking her head.

"Alice, Rosalie is looking for you," A thick southern accent suddenly calls out. Evangeline sensed familiarity in the voice. She turned around and looked at the man the voice belonged to, and her eyes went wide, and the man too.

"Evangeline?"

"Jasper."
