As a civilian, Natalie is a dark-skinned French girl with dark amber (almost yellow) eyes and light beige lips. She has medium-length jet-black wavy hair. Joshua Monroe - Natalie used to be close to her father until recent years when she began noticing strange changes in him. When he began becoming more controlling in what she and her family did, she wanted to know the source of his strange behavior. But instead, Natalie might have bitten off more than she could choose....

Diane Monroe - Natalie is much closer to her mother, who she affectionately views as a role model. Additionally, the two have a healthy mother-daughter relationship, which only continues to grow in the aftermath of Joshua's decision to self-sabotage what he had with them.

Dwayne Cooper [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] - As a childhood friend to her mother, Natalie has always had a close bond with him, affectionately referring to him as part of their family. Yet in recent years, she began viewing him as a father figure when she begins distancing herself from Joshua. As such, she finds herself wishing he was her father, instead of Joshua. Little did she know, her wish would soon be granted.

Albus Cooper [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] - Natalie has a close bond with him, but finds herself slightly jealous since Joshua allowed him to go to school, but not her. More so, she envied the way her older brother got more leeway on what he got to do, while she had to do everything Joshua said (unaware he is treated the same way as her, if not harsher)

Ulliam Cooper [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] - As his twin, Natalie is the closest to him, often being the main person (after their mom) who is capable of cheering him up when Joshua begins ignoring him in recent years. Because of this, both twins developed their dislike towards Joshua around the early signs of their father's strange behavior.

Fluffy - Because Natalie is the main person being homeschooled, she is the closest to their dog as she's always around her. As a result, she and Fluffy have developed an acute bond. So when Fluffy begins reacting to their father differently, this is the main catalyst to get towards the source as their dog has never barked at Joshua before, especially since she's been exposed to him for essentially years now.

Cleo Monroe - Natalie is the first one to discover her through an accidental phone call as up till then, she (nor anyone of her family members) knew of the girl's existence. At first, she found it weird that her father had this random girl's phone number stashed in his pocket, when it was clear he meant to discard the evidence.

Despite this, she maintains her secret calls to the girl in an attempt to get intel (because essentially, she disliked being homeschooled and this was the closest thing she had to entertainment). However throughout their calls, Natalie gathered that her newfound pen pal from France is actually super nice.

After a series of phone calls, Natalie decides that she can trust this girl and gives up her name, not realizing that Cleo was going to do the same. Upon learning the girl's last name, Natalie's whole world shifts.

She tried rationalizing the coincidence, but Natalie knows the obvious by now: her pen pal was actually her sister.... Which meant Joshua must have been Cleo's dad too, before he ever got around to meeting Diane. She couldn't help, but wonder: what else was he trying to hide?

Civilian's personality:
As a civilian, Natalie is someone who is greatly underestimated. She wants people (especially her bio father, Joshua) to take her seriously. A fiercely loyal and caring person who will fight for the truth, she is someone who will work tirelessly to obtain justice.

Aside from this, Natalie is capable of knowing when she's being lied to, which she makes this fact known almost immediately. She is not one to take kindly to liars nor deceitful behavior. It is why she starts drifting away from Joshua as Natalie has begun piecing together that he's not essentially the person he claimed to be.

However, capable as she is to get the job done though, Natalie knows when she needs help. It's why she ropes her two brothers into her scheme to expose their father for the liar he is (after she gave them the rundown and provided proof, of course).

However, their father might just be one step ahead, which is why she convinces Cleo to help them, knowing Joshua would never see it coming. Except, maybe, he knew that play too....

With her mother as a writer and her father being a successful owner of Monroe Industries, Natalie is the proudest member of the Monroe family. Always cheerful and optimistic, her life was stable. She had loving parents, a super fluffy pet companion, the coolest siblings (in existence) and the best friend anyone could ever ask for!

Everything was great until she had turned ten.

As the school year began, Natalie had finally reached the age her father promised to enroll her in a public school. But to her dismay, she was reluctantly stuck in performing another year of being homeschooled while her brothers got to attend public schools.

When she had asked why, her father brushed her off and that was the first time she experienced rejection from him. Worse, he didn't even bother to apologize for lying to her. But still, she obliged and played her role in the Monroe household, but after a few months in, she broke.

Her father hadn't gotten better and each day, it became clear her father began pursuing the concept of favoritism. She knew this, because Albus [OC belongs to GeekyCookie1]  got more affection from their father than she and Liam [OC belongs to GeekyCookie1] ever did. Worse, he was now being harsh to their mother, who downplayed his behavior towards "their father being stressed."

She tried to believe her mother, but something felt terribly wrong to Natalie. Why was her father acting like this now? It was out of his nature, and Natalie needed to know why.

So one day when her father randomly took off on one of his "weekly trips" and she was left alone (because Joshua "forgot" to hire a nanny and has been taking great strides towards keeping Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] away from them), Natalie decides to explore her father's forbidden chambers, one of the few aspects of the house she never got to explore.

Once again, Natalie looked around and saw nothing out of the ordinary. It was just a bland, if not unorganized room. She was about to leave, until she found a tiny piece of paper sticking out. When she held the paper, she found a unlisted phone number.

Writing the number down, she placed the paper back, making note of the 'evidence' before leaving. In between doing her homework, curiosity got the best of her and needing a 'break', she had called the number she wrote down, expecting to just be some random pizza delivery number.

Instead, she heard a teenage girl's voice. Bored, she chose to get 'intel' by talking to her 'witness' in an attempt to further enhance her 'case.' But while that didn't happen, she did get a new person to talk with, even if she was 'supposedly' living in Paris. Each day, she made time to talk to her new pen pal, forgetting about why her father had this girl's number in the first place.

But then as time goes on, Natalie decides to trust this girl and give up her 'secret identity.' In return, this girl did the same, revealing that Cleo wasn't her real name, just a shorter version of it. In truth, her real name was Clementine Rose Monroe, but she 'playfully' insisted on keeping it between them.

Upon hearing the last name though, Natalie panicked and hung up, scrambling to find her secret notebook, where she kept track of her newfound mystery. She wrote this new piece of evidence down, while trying to downplay the coincidence. The girl she has been talking to for several months now just happened to have her father's last name.

Naturally, Ashlee [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] is the only person she trusted with the case and so whenever her father was on his "weekly trip," she made her best friend a partner on the case. Together, the two would work on the case and before long, she had gathered enough proof that Cleo was connected to the family.

As such, she began hinting this towards her brothers and her mom in hopes of trying to get them to caught on before her father knew what she was up to. However, none of them got the hint (yet), so she 'snuck' (she got permission from her mom) out one afternoon to seek out Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1].

Upon seeing him, Natalie couldn't keep her composure. She spilled out everything to him. She told him about her unwavering fears of never being good enough for her father, his newfound controlling nature, and how she had called this girl named Cleo.

Yet to her surprise, Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] knew the name and told the girl how Cleo was his niece. When she had asked how that was possible (as he wasn't one to talk about his family), he explained how her father married his sister, Jolene, but "it was a long time ago" (he assured her).

But despite Dwayne's [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] claim, Natalie still added Jolene to the list and while he wasn't trying to help her further, he let it slip that his sister made the Parisian headlines once, leaving it at that. Naturally, Natalie had searched the name up and to her surprise, Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] was right.

This Jolene person didn't just make the headlines, she made it onto the big ones! In spite of her age, Natalie could comprehend things that were "not appropriate for her" (as her parents put it) and understood enough of what the article was saying.

In hindsight, this Jolene was terrible, but worse she had cheated on her dad! At first, she felt a large surge of guilt for accusing her father of acting strange. She was on the verge of abandoning the case, truly disgusted by herself before stumbling upon Cleo's name in the paper.

There were accusations against Jolene being abusive to her sole child [by an anonymous source] and found outlines of a few things Jolene did to the child but these claims were denied by everyone, including Cleo (who from the video she watched, mainly looked embarrassed, but Natalie could have sworn from the corner of her eye, she found fear in Cleo's eyes).

Then once it occurred to her that her father left this terrible woman, he also left Cleo behind too. She tried to rationalize his situation, trying to picture herself in his shoes, but each time she did, Natalie always imagined her father taking Cleo away and bring her here to live with them.

She just couldn't get herself to understand why her father could save himself, but not take Cleo. In the moment, her heart sunk. If she was in Cleo's place, would her father come back for her? Would he come for Albus [OC owned by GeekyCookie1]? What about her twin, Liam [OC owned by GeekyCookie1]?

Would he come back for any of them?

Or would he leave them in the same sense he left Cleo? Alone and fending for her life every day to that cruel woman.

That night after calling Cleo, it was the first time Natalie shed tears for this girl. Cleo became more than just her pen pal. In this moment, she considered the girl to be her sister and once she could convince her father to see the error of his ways, Natalie vowed to herself that they were going to bring her home.

So after the others left, Natalie personally confronted her father. She told him that she knew about Cleo, she knew about Jolene, and wanted to know how he could be so cruel to save himself. Instead, he lashed out at her for investigating his life, insisting how she was extremely disrespectful, even going through the motion of raising his arm.

Had his phone not rung, Natalie was absolutely certain he was going to smack her. It was the first time she saw this violent side of him, and while she knew she was wrong, she knew the old version of her father would have calmly told her everything.

But that was not the case here. In fact, that would never be the case for her. Since that night, Joshua gave any sort of punishment in her direction, violently glaring at Natalie as if she just became a threat to him. The shift became so evident that her brothers dragged their mother to finally got the courage to ask what was going on and in response, Joshua targeted Natalie for going through his life.

In turn, Natalie gathered enough evidence and made her case clear: He was lying to them. She revealed everything. From the existence of Cleo to several papers detailing the termination of the Monroe Industries, she played out her cards and held her breath.

Saying it out loud, she couldn't believe she had almost looked up to this man. While her brothers took her side immediately, Joshua tried forcing her mother to see from his side, but when Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] arrives and plays a top-secret file of the termination of Monroe Industries, Natalie's evidence solidified everything Diane needed to know.

But, it got worse. So much worse.

Out of options, Joshua tried to play the victim, but when Natalie insisted that he has been lying to them each time he had his "weekly trips" by going back to Jolene and head over here and lie to them.

This time, Diane didn't bother to hear her husband's side. On this particular account, she knew Natalie was right because on one of her rounds of doing laundry, she found a dark purple shade lipstick mark on his white collarbone shirt, knowing that was always Jolene's signature trademark.

With everything (and everyone) against him, Joshua truly snapped, lashing out at everyone. But when he got to Natalie, she had stopped him from going further. While he was busy blaming everyone else, Natalie insisted the one who needed blaming was him.

Then as if Joshua's ego needed more bruising, Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] insisted that he was the one who threw away a perfect family. In that moment, Natalie decided that Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] was her father figure, not Joshua.

In fact, she was over her bio father and luckily, so was everyone else. When Joshua attempted to lunge at Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1], Diane kicked him out right then and there. When asked about his stuff, Diane insisted on burning it and threw her wedding ring back at him.

A week later, Diane (with the permission of her kids) brought the story forward, disowning Joshua as her husband and the father of her kids. Just to add salt to the wind though, she publicly declared Dwayne [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] as her husband and publicly kissed him on live television.

In the end, Natalie had gotten her family their happy ending and she got a chance to prove herself towards the man who made her feel worthless. But of course, her story wasn't over yet.

She made a vow to bring Cleo home, so with the permission of her family, Natalie was going to tell her that they were coming to rescue her. Only instead of Cleo's voice, she heard Joshua, now deranged and officially hiding any hint of sanity he had in him, and that's when she had realized....

Her story wasn't over.

This was only the beginning.

Oh, and that successful business of his? It's a lie! He's a fraud, and he's been hiding it from us. Worse, mom, he doesn't love any of us. He's been using his "weekly trips" to go see his ex, Jolene, who's a nasty, cruel woman and he... he... he left our sister to fend for herself with that horrendous sad excuse of a mother! Mom, you have a stepdaughter and Joshua never told you because he's ashamed of her. Please, you have to believe me."
