Present day- 2018

After making yourself a cup of watermelon-flavoured tea, you sign. Reflecting on what happened almost two years ago, you were filled with unnecessary pain and longing.

Your mother was shocked beyond words by the amount of turmoil that you went through. Losing a child is unlike losing anything else in life. You lost your and Jimins' baby.

You couldn't even carry it through. For months, you lived in a state of guilt and grief. In spite of her disappointment with you, your relationship with your mother grew stronger after she quickly forgave you.

The fact that you thought she hated you and the baby and that you were planning to put it up for adoption saddened her, no, devastated her. Both of you cried in each other's arms for a long time. When you were in pain, she promised to take care of you.

When Dad, your old-timer, arrived in town, mom called you to tell you he was in town and was planning on seeing you. Your refusal is adamant. Becky has already met with him.

Hopefully, he isn't staying at your house. There are numerous five-star hotels in your area. He can book himself and his new wife into the hotel.

You only hope that she does not tell him what happened in your sophomore year when they are so relaxed together. After studying a bit, you began trying out new games to write reviews that you sent to a company. You were given the number of this company by a guy friend in programming class. You can add it to your savings and take advantage of the great rate.

You only need to analyze non-functional features like fun factors, is the game fun, how difficult it is, etc. Also, you are part of a select group of users who play the unfinished versions of the game to test the workflow. Their primary goal is to verify whether a game works properly.

That's how Samantha discovered Ruby 3 hours later, fast asleep on her bed. Sam smiled softly at her best friend, thinking about the emotional pain and suffering she had endured.

It was because she feared Ruby would again fall into a depression that she wanted to share Ruby's pain so much. She could not bear the pain of losing her baby. Her love for that baby grew.

The last thing Samantha wanted was to find Nick and strangle him. She even convinced Lawrence from the reservation to check on a guest that stayed with them when her friend worked there during their hols (holidays) Ruby never revealed the surname of a guy named "Nick.". The hotel studied all the hundreds of guests who stayed with them in the three weeks before and during BTS' stay.

However, there was no "Nick". The guy who hooked up with Ruby used a fake name to charm her innocent friend. Gosh, she wonders if Ruby knows that he lied or, indeed, if he is a soul-marked person. However, Ruby did not receive any moral code summons. As she shook her head, she forgot about the events from two years ago-her friend's business.

Ruby grew stoic and cynical of love as a whole. Every guy who wanted to date her was shot down. As she stood at Ruby's door looking at her tired friend, Samantha felt a deep sadness build inside of her. She dropped a cream-white knitted throw over her friend.

Ruby has lost the sparkle in her eyes. She can laugh and bicker with her friends, but she always feels underlying loneliness and deep pain beneath those brown, warm eyes. Sadly, her fiery friend was no longer passionate about life or love. The System doesn't hold any value for her. As with people who give up cigarettes, she has given up on love. She would like to see rays of happiness re-emerge in the heart of her friend. She has never opened up her heart to anyone in two long years.

She didn't want to inform Ruby that Greg broke up with "Willow" and that he was pestering Brendon and her for Ruby's number. He has decided to transfer back to his Uni. Ruby is not aware of it, and she fears what will happen the moment her friend finds out about her ex. Ruby would not be able to cope. She will go troppo (go crazy) . She was humiliated, and her spirit was broken. Now he just wanted a chance to re-enter her life.

The pain of his betrayal will hit her friend hard. Seeing Greg daily on campus will bring back all the break-up distress. How will she tell her friend about Greg's return on Monday?

There will be a buzz on campus when the most popular ex-couple makes an appearance. Oh my goodness. This will be the hottest trending topic. Their campus magazine will sell like hotcakes for the upcoming saga. Greg's intense messages to Brendon show how much he wants Ruby back.

Ruby tried to forget the breakup and moved on so much that she even resorted to a one-night stand. A totally uncharacteristic act for Ruby. Greg was to blame for her friend's change in personality. Her father, Greg, and Nick-guy.

Samantha sighed and closed the bedroom curtains, and shut the door. She bought cocktail meat pies and hoped that Ruby would get up late tonight to eat.

She took her book bag from the sofa and retreat to her room to go and start with her assignments before its time to go train the four first years for the upcoming beauty contest...

The somewhat silence of the dorm unit was filled with the shrill sound of an alarm.

"Holy Dooley!" you scream, throwing the bedding from your bed. You slept the entire night through. With squinting eyes, you look down at yourself and see that you slept in the previous day's clothes. You were knackered ( very tired) After scrunching your nose, you get up from your bed and head to the bathroom.

"G'day, my beautiful mate, how ya going (how are you) "Samantha said cheerily from the little lounge.

You're not a morning person, and you mumble good morning. As Samantha grins at your bed nest hair, she hears the bang of the bathroom door followed by the sound of the shower.

Samantha is free for the first block as she sits with a cuppa in her hands watching her favorite YouTube channel, "Sydney Oppas.". Sam is lucky to have her lectures later in the mornings.
Samantha was cracking up at the three Australian -Korean Guys interviewing Aussie ARMY's.

Sam laughed so loudly that you frowned and wondered why. She could be heard through a closed shower door. You smile as you remember your friend. Samantha got the weirdest laugh, almost like a breathy, crackling one. Because of her unique laugh, her friends always refer to her as the "Seokjin" of the group. You are the "Suga", according to Janice, because you are always grumpy or sarcastic.

You remember him as the one with the cute face and cat-like eyes. After what you had to endure with the "dating scandal, his management, your pregnancy, the loss of the baby, and your mother's deep disappointment", it was impossible to watch any mv or news of the group without breaking down. It was difficult to avoid any online news about them consciously. Thinking back...you missed him terribly.

On your return to university three weeks later, the Dean was informed by your gynecologist (your mother's friend) that you'd had surgery to remove cysts in your Fylipian tubes and would need to rest for a few weeks. Samantha made sure all of your friends knew.

Get-well wishes filled your room. Your spirits were lifted.

You recall two weeks after your visit to the clinic, your mom stopped talking to you. It was the most lonely and difficult time of your life during those two weeks. You were consumed by the little life inside of you and its future.

Secretly you looked into adoption sites and decided to book a retreat center for young unbonded pregnant girls when you'll be four-five months pregnant. You would have spent all your scholarship money and savings on it. However, FATE had other plans and gave you back your freedom and youth.

You felt guilty and wondered if your unborn baby felt unwanted, leading to the miscarriage. Like never before, you felt useless as a person. After that fateful night when you were covered in blood, your mom was beyond shocked, especially when you were very quiet for three weeks after that. You didn't speak to her. You just lay in your bed depressed and filled with despair even though she couldn't help you.

All you wanted was to die alone. Your dark thoughts were written in a journal, but Becky found it and read it. With tears streaming from her eyes, she showed your mother the journal, who was weeping after she read it. Upon entering your room, she grabbed you tightly and embraced you. Half-awake, you wondered what had happened. In shame, she asked you to forgive her for not being a good mom. You forgave her.

Your mother could not handle the fact that you thought she hated you and the baby. The loss of the baby made you wonder if you should leave for good, sparing your family from the scandal of having tainted the family name. It took a lot of reassurance from your mother to make you believe that she loved you because you lost faith in people who claimed to. You are dealing with unresolved anger towards your father, Greg's betrayal, your fling with Jimin, and losing your unborn child, you grew to love so much.

After you forgave each other and promised your mother that she would never have to worry about you ever again, you decided that you would never get married or have children in your life. When you wept in the wee hours of the night, you fought FATE over Park Jimin, and the love you felt for him never faded.

It was impossible to forget him. Even more painful was when the first-anniversary date came around when he asked you to become his official girlfriend. A little over three months from now, it will be the 2nd anniversary.

The ARMY fandom in Australia grew along with their international fame. Everywhere you go, there were overenthusiastic fans. You were surrounded by fierce ARMY friends. They devoted themselves to supporting their boys. There were even plans to attend concerts in other countries if Australia wasn't on their schedule. You just couldn't be enthusiastic like them.

Even though you were very proud of them for getting so far despite hardships, jealousy from other celebrities, and disrespect from your television shows, the Army defended them, loved and supported them and together, they soar to great heights.

In the past couple of months, Jimin had shown signs of being happy for the first time after months of sadness and a quiet disposition. Several Korean kpop stars and international models and celebrities had been linked to him once again in the past year, even with Ariana Grande.

As a result, you had to accept that you became a distant memory to him, but a wonderful memory of Sydney to you. The ARMY rejoiced when their Chimmy returned to being the flirty guy again.

Last year, it was rumored that he received the late whisper soul mark on his 23rd birthday. He could find his destined mate at any time, and fans were thrilled with the prospect. Around the world, the hope of the ARMY was high. He could have a soulmate in anyone. There was hope even for the fanboys. ARMY was so excited because two or three members were still single but got soul marks. Everyone speculated about which boy might have a soulmate.

In the aftermath of that rumor and the fact that Bighit confirmed it a month later, you officially let go of him and buried your memories. You will love him from afar.

A few messages, dating images, and a private journal documenting your love for him are preserved in a beautiful Bts Jimin memory wood box that you purchased online and stored in a safe at your bank.

You gestured to her after getting out of the shower that you would return shortly. You quickly get dressed for the day.

Your white tank top looks great with your dark navy skinny jeans and your white and silver flats. For the extra cover, you'll throw a long open jersey on top. A straight red mane and loose bangs have become your new look.

You applied light and natural makeup with a minimal amount of foundation coverage. Despite the freckles across your nose, you made peace with them. The fact that you never date means you don't really care about boys or how they perceive you.

You got yourself a cuppa and ate a few of the pies. Because you didn't eat dinner, your stomach protested.

"Cheers for the pies... they're sweet," you hollered out to her appreciatively from the kitchen.

Turning to Samantha, still chuckling in front of the TV, you hurried over to sit beside her.

"Your giggles could be heard from the showers to my room. What's playing? Fill me in," you inquired.

Samantha paused the YouTube video, her eyes shining as she looked at you. "Remember Jason, the barman from our gig at the hotel two years back?"

You nodded, recalling the good times with him and Allie at the concert. You'd heard that Allie tied the knot in a small Brisbane ceremony months ago and now manages another hotel. It was great to know she was doing well.

"He sent me a link to a Sydney Oppa who interviewed Sydney ARMYs about their BTS knowledge. It was on Jimin's birthday," she giggled, oblivious to your paler complexion. Jimin's face was all over the video she was watching, filmed last year for his birthday. Oh my goodness.

"Oh," you said, your heart racing wildly. You had to keep a poker face to hide your emotions.

Sam grinned, "Naturally, some of them flunked the quiz big time... have a look."

You can follow it from the beginning since she pressed replay. Despite your smile, your eyes remain glued to the pictures of him that hung on the wall. While Sam explained to you the quiz, you noticed your eyes were beginning to get wet. You quickly looked down and sipped your hot beverage.

It is only Jimins' images in the background that are capturing your whole attention. You jumped up because you couldn't watch anymore. The throbbing pain began to plague your heart.

"Um, Sam... uh... gotta dash. Got an early class... catch ya later, have a good one," you quickly muttered.

Hurrying to the kitchen to rinse your cup, you couldn't shake off thoughts of him. He nailed it by forgetting about you. He got his anticipated Soul mark.

He'd soon fall head over heels for his soulmate girl and completely forget about you. The thought of him with his soulmate made your heart ache, leaving you breathless with escalating pain. Why did it hit you so hard?

You rushed past the lounge to fetch your bookbag. Just to sit and get your mind ready for the day, you will go to the academic lounge. After brushing your hair one more time, you cannot help looking into your eyes that show signs of exhaustion and sadness.

It is quiet in the dorm hallway. Some students are sleeping in or have already left for class. Greeting some of the firsties inside the kitchen, which sat with cuppas, you dash inside the elevator of the eighth floor.

Crisp and fresh morning air greets you. You are so glad that thanks to all your practical credits and great results you are going to finish your master's in one year. You saw some of your friends and you wave enthusiastically at them. Today you and a team will test some games in the gaming room. You can't wait for it. You'll be in the gaming room for four hours how cool is that?

You entered the academic halls. The first thing you wanted to do was review your written assignment. There are soft bean seats in the section where Janice and Melissa will wait for you. There is a side to the academic center that you enjoy. Glass hallways overflowed with glass windows as you walked by. What a cool thing! There is almost a sense of oneness with the environment outside.

After shaking your head, you continued your lazy stroll. Suddenly, you find yourself feeling light and - until you look up a few meters in front of you. Several boys hollering in excitement high-fived each other. Your eyes met one of them ...and you froze in shock. You were stunned mullet! Your face became drained of blood and your eyes bulged almost out of their sockets.

The horror!

As his eyes lifted up, he gazed at your beauty with a look of sheer amazement and delight.

Nooooooooooooo! Nooooooo! Suddenly, as if a thousand wolves were on your trail, you turned around on your heels and fled the academic center.

"Ruby!!!!" a booming voice called after you.
