Ivy Lennon Blane had always been different than the others ━ At a very young age Ivy's magical powers shown through much brighter than any witch or wizard had ever seen. It was no surprise when she got sorted into Ravenclaw. Not only her brightness determined that, but her witty attitude made a contribution. She was soon labeled as one of the smartest witches Hogwarts had ever had, surpassing former students such as Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy. Although, there would always be a piece of Ivy missing that not even books and spells could recover. Ivy didn't know where her powers came from, especially the ones she possessed.

Ivy's mother died of natural causes when she was only a year old, leaving Ivy's father to care for her. Her father's side of the family was not held accountable for her magic abilities, that was certain, which left her mother to be from a line of witches and wizards. Unfortunately Ivy's father had no idea, he was just as clueless of the Wizarding World as she was. Her magical possessions would always be a mystery.

There is no actual fan cast for Harry Potter Next Gen, so I created my own. I will be adding more as the story continues. I won't be following the story line of The Cursed Child before anyone starts leaving comments about how the stories don't line up.
