Dr. James Ellicott was a clinical psychologist. The plan was for Sam to go in and talk to him on his own, acting like he was a new patient. While Dean and Carmen waited outside, leaning against the glass next to the door. More than an hour passed and the two were bored, so when the two were bored they would people watch.

"Dude! You were in there for like ever. What the hell were you talking about?" She asked seeing Sam walking through the doors.

"Just the hospital, you know."

"And...?" Dean asked as they reached the car.

"And the south wing? It's where they housed the really hard cases. The psychotics, the criminally insane." He explained.

"Sounds cozy," Dean added sarcastically.

"Yeah. And one night in '64, they rioted. Attacked staff. Attacked each other." He informed. "So the patients took over the asylum? Didn't that happen in Batman?" She joked. "Any deaths?"

"Some patients, some staff. I guess it was pretty gory. Some of the bodies were never even recovered, including our chief of staff, Ellicott." Sam informed the two as they stopped near the car.

"What do you mean, never recovered?"

"Cops scoured every inch of the place but I guess the patients must've...Stuffed the bodies somewhere hidden." Sam explained, clearly uncomfortable with the imagery. "That's grim." The two said in unison. "Yeah. So, they transferred all the remaining patients and closed the hospital down." He continued to explain. "So, to sum it up, we've got a bunch of violent deaths and a bunch of unrecovered bodies." Dean said, literally summing everything up. "And a bunch of angry spirits," She added. "Good times. Let's check out the hospital tonight." The oldested said and the three climbed inside the car.

💾

It was midnight, and completely dark outside. They were outside the door that led to the south wing. Sam pushed open the door and they each cautiously went inside. Dean held the EMF meter, Sam had the video camera, and Carmen held the flashlight. "Getting any reading?" She asked, trying to peer over his shoulder as she was sandwiched between the two, again.

"Yeah, big time." He replied.

"This place is orbing like crazy." Sam added.

"Probably multiple spirits out and about."

"Well let's meet and greet," She remarked, smacking the side of her light as it flickered a few times.

"And if these uncovered bodies are causing the haunting..."

"We gotta find 'em and burn 'em." She finished Sam's sentence.

"Just be careful though. The only thing that makes me more nervous than a pissed off spirit...is the pissed off spirit of a psycho killer." Dean said to Sam. The three of them turned around when they swore there was something behind them. But there wasn't anything. She shrugged, after shining the light down the hall. The three turned back around and Dean continued to lead them down the hall.

Peeking their head, and taking quick glances into separate rooms. Carmen's light caught something shiny in one room, and Sam followed her. It was quiet, the only sounds would be the creaking or squeaking of the building settling. The hairs on her neck stood on ends, and her stomach dropped. Someone was behind her Turning around looking at her brother, "Did you–" She asked as he nodded, cutting her off, "Yeah, I heard that too." She shook her head, "No, I felt someone right behind me." She explained as the two looked down at the carmen. He started scanning the room after they put their backs against the wall. There stood an old woman, her hair was white. One of her eyes was bloody and hanging from its socket. She slowly started stepping her way towards them. "DEAN?!" Sam shoved his sister behind him. Not even a second later Dean was running into the room. Dropping his duffle bag to the ground, going through it, "Shotgun!"

"Get down!"

Sma pushed her as far to the ground as he could. Pashley covering her body with his. Dean shot the woman with rocksalt, causing the woman to disappear. Sam helped her up, each looking around trying to catch each of their breaths. "Well that was weird." She muttered, taking short quick breaths after each word.

"Yeah. You're telling me." Dean said, checking the gun before putting it back in the duffel bag. He left the room and the two followed, Sam making sure Carmen went in front of him. "No. Dean, she means it was weird that she didn't attack us." Sam explained.

"Looked pretty aggro from where I was standing."

"She didn't hurt us. She didn't even try."

"So, if she didn't wanna hurt us then what did she want?" Carmen asked.

They barely made it a few feet from the room before passing another one that had a loud noise. Carmen shined her light into the room, and Dean immediately raised the shotgun. Not realizing he had gotten it out. There was a metal bed frame, on its side covered in ripped and dirty sheet. Through the holes blonde hair could be seen. Sam reached up and tipped the frame over. A teen girl, a few years older than Carmen, was crouched facing the corner. She quickly stood to her feet, turning around, terrified. "It's alright, we're not going to hurt you. It's okay. What's your name?" Dean asked, lowering the shotgun.

"Katherine. Kat"

"Okay. I'm Dean, this is Sam, and this is Carmen." He introduced pointing to each of them.

"What are you doing here?" Sam asked her, "Um. My boyfriend, Gavin." She replied. "Is he here?" Carmen asked. "Somewhere. He thought it would be fun, try and see some ghosts. I thought it was all just...You know. Pretend. I've seen things. I heard Gavin scream and..." She explained trailing off, still very shaken up from what she saw. "Alright. Kat? Come on. Sam and Carmen are gonna get you out of here and then we're gunna find your boyfriend." Dean told her. "No! No. I'm not going to leave without Gavin. I'm coming with you." She protested. "It's no joke around here, okay. It's dangerous," He insisted. "That's why I gotta find him." The three looked at each, unsure on what to do. Carmen shrugged her shoulders as a  'what's the worst that can happen'. "Alright–" Dean said, giving in, "I guess we gunna split up then. Let's go."
