Anyways, those of you who are still following along with the hopefully-soon-to-be applyfic, has anyone ever heard of shared or co-owned OCs? Like, they are owned by two or more people? 

I'm trying to figure out what the ownership and stuff is going to be like for the book, since I bet 99% of people who submit OC's are making them right off the bat, meaning they aren't developed at all and have no art & concrete design.

This means that I'm the person doing all of the development and writing for the OC's, and it'll kind of make me feel... cheated (?) if I'm essentially writing fanfics for other's characters with no recognition. I don't mean to steal the OC from the person, but it would be nice to have some control over the characters I'm putting in my book. And besides, I doubt most of the user-submitted characters will get any more development besides what I write. Not always, but most of them, I think. 

I really have no idea how I'm going to do all this, and the co-owned OC thing is just a thought. If anyone has any idea how I could level out this whole thing, please share.
