It was finally Dappledpaw's first quarter-moon! Sure she was scared but, in all excited to see all the medicine cats! There was Dappledpelt, Turtlepelt, Breezewing, and Foxpaw! Fireclan's newest medicine cat apprentice! "Are you ready? We may be joining Fireclan on the journey there, so, no need to be so quiet on the journey to The Shimmer Cave." Waterstep said gulping up the last bits of bitter  herbs.

Waterstep was correct. Fireclan did join them, Dappledpaw guessed the Braken colored tom was Breezewing, and. The smaller one was Foxpaw. "Hi, I'm Dappledpaw." She mewed "And I'm Foxpaw." He said calmly "What's the Shimmer Cave like Foxpaw?" Dappledpaw asked "It's real pretty, and crystals are all around, but one Crystal, the biggest, is surrounded by a pool of shiny star like water, that's where we share dreams with Elementalclan!" Foxpaw informed her "Sounds magical!" Foxpaw nodded "It is, hey? How many Gatherings you been to?" "two. About to be three, along with Crystalpaw and Owlpaw." Dappledpaw mewed "Nice, they new apprentices?" Foxpaw asked "Yeah, about 5 weeks in." Dappledpaw said calmly "But they are amazing hunters! Crystalpaw caught 5 rabbits just yesterday!" Foxpaw nodded "My brother, Blazepaw, is just like that. Fallenpaw and Ashpaw two." He mewed trying to remember all his siblings. "Wow, I only have one brother, Furypaw, what a pain he is." Dappledpaw mewed remembering the time when he got them both in trouble so many times "Can you two stop jibbering!?" Waterstep hissed "Breezewing and I need to talk as well." "Sorry Waterstep." Dappledpaw mew dipping her head "Yeah, sorry." Foxpaw mewed  quietly.

Soon, they made it to Shimmer Cave. And all the other cats were there "Sorry for the wait." Breezewing meowed to the two she-cats "No need." One smiled "Ya, we can wait." The other one said. "Thank you Turtlepelt, you as well Dappledpelt." Waterstep dipped his head "And is this Dappledpaw?" The she-cat with the smaller tail asked padding up to Dappledpaw "Yep, that's Dappledpaw." Waterstep nodded "Should we go in and share dreams with Elementalclan?" The other she-cat, Dappledpelt asked "Ah! Yes, come Dappledpaw." "Let's go Foxpaw."

The Shimmer Cave was beautiful! The pretty gem's colors bounced off of other colors "Wow.. This is amazing!" She bounced happily "Come," He mewed leading her to a large Crystal "Just dip your nose into the water and you'll stay asleep until the dream is over." Waterstep informed her, soon doing that. The rest of the cats followed him, except for Foxpaw. "You'll be fine. I promise." He mewed then doing what his mentor had done. "I can do this." She mewed to herself pressing her nose in the pool.
