While Alaria is running away from that abusive scumbag called Kaitlin, Leigheanna also finds herself running away from her, but also from the person who did nothing to prevent her scheming aunt's plans from actually happening.

She's running away with whom she sees as her only anchor that can drag her to safety. Rowan Killip, a physically unattractive but still magnetic young man, whose persuasive voice led her to leave everything else behind, including her own messed-up family and her friends.

Leigheanna: Where are we headed to?

Rowan: Who knows?

Leigheanna: Well, you should. You're driving, after all.

Rowan: Haha. Very funny.

Leigheanna: You know you can't play the sarcasm card with me again, right?

Rowan: Touché.

All of a sudden, Leigheanna's phone is ringing incessantly. She really hopes it's not her father calling. If he caught her, he'd be able to chase after her and then kill her straight away.

Rowan: Who is it? Your parents?

Leigheanna: Let's see. Oh, I think I'm being lucky. No parents. It's just a friend of mine. But why the hell is Leslie calling? What happened?

Phone call between Leslie and Leigheanna

Leslie: Leighy, it's an emergency!

Leigheanna: Stop panicking! What the hell is going on?

Leslie: Taylor and Alaena want to elope here. In Vegas.

Leigheanna: Please tell me it's a joke!

Leslie: No, it isn't. By the way, this is the good news.

Leigheanna: And the bad one?

Leslie: Uhm... We're broke.

Leigheanna: What?

Leslie: This means that we can't afford the flight back home. Or, at least, not everyone. Aaron, Bailey and Riley may be able to go back home, but I may not.

Leigheanna: Leslie. Get to the point.

Leslie: Okay, I didn't tell the exact truth. It's just me who's broke.

Leigheanna: What the fuck even happened?

Leslie: Let's say I hooked up with a stranger and we made... out.

Leigheanna: Ouch.

Leslie: I think he might have made me pregnant.

Leigheanna: Oh, yes, and I turned into a unicorn. Stop joking!

Leslie: I swear it's true, Leighy! I haven't had my period for... almost two weeks.

Leigheanna: Maybe your period is just late. So, stop worrying about it.

Leslie: Leighy, I'm worried. I'm not ready to be a mother yet. I'm 21, for God's sake!

Leigheanna: Les. I told you to stop panicking!

Leslie: Okay, Leighy... guess what?

Leigheanna: Oh, please, don't tell me you're expecting twins!

Leslie: No way! I don't even know!

Leigheanna: And so what?

Leslie: I've been messing with you all the time! Come on, tell me. How are things going?

Leigheanna: Let's say you had your reasons to tell me to trust Kaitlin. But, still, I managed to prove you wrong.

Leslie: What did she do?

Leigheanna: Let's just say she bruised me and threatened to smash my skull like an egg.

Leslie: Okay, she's definitely gone nuts...

Leigheanna: Leslie, she's an abuser! If I find out that she harassed my cousins after I left, that may be enough to denounce her!

Leslie: Okay, okay. But that's not easy, Leighy. You'll need proof.

Leigheanna: Listen. I'll do whatever I can to make sure she won't strike again. But, for once, I'd like to enjoy my summer.

Leslie: Oh, right. Anyway, is there a chance you're sneaking here in Vegas? The truth is, I miss you so much...

Leigheanna: I'll see what I can do. Talk to you later!

Leslie: Bye!

As the conversation with Leslie ends, Leigheanna grins mischievously at Rowan, who's still focused on his driving but doesn't seem to know where to go. Better say, he doesn't know at all.

Leigheanna: I have an idea.

Rowan: What kind of idea?

Leigheanna: Well, I was talking on the phone to my friend, Leslie. She was telling me she's having so much fun in Las Vegas with my brother and my other friends.

Rowan: And?

Leigheanna: I was supposed to join them but I was forced to-

Rowan: Don't say another word. We're heading to Vegas.

Leigheanna: Wow. Hold on, please. Are you sure-

Rowan: Shhh. Don't talk, Princess. We're going there, that's it.

For a while, Leigheanna is considering playing the good girl's role and tell Rowan this is a bad idea. But, then, she realizes she's anything but a good girl and grins again. Therefore, the idea of rejoining Taylor, Leslie and the others is more than good. She wants to have the time of her life and forget Kaitlin and all the drama involving her once for all.

Leigheanna: So, Vegas it is, love.

Rowan: How did you call me?

Leigheanna: Shut the fuck up and keep driving! We have to reach Sin City before dusk.

Leigheanna and Rowan burst into deep laughter, before Rowan blasts loud music on his car's stereo. Chill, upbeat songs echo through the motorway, yet they don't care at all about catching unwanted attention. Especially if they want to live a carefree adventure in the most devious place in the world.

Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, Taylor, Aaron and Leslie are sitting by the swimming pool, sipping fruit cocktails and wondering what they're having for lunch. Suddenly, they're joined by Alaena, a tall and curvy woman who is Taylor's age and seems to know him well. Her brown hair, though short, is flowing messily in the artificial wind caused by the huge fan placed outdoors.

Taylor: Hi, Alaena. Do you want a drink?

Alaena: Oh, yes, I'd like one. Thank you so much.

As Taylor hands her a glass, he glares at Leslie, who's the object of the guys' mockery for telling Leigheanna a bunch of lies on the phone, including Taylor's elopement with Alaena.

Taylor: Why would you do that, Les?

Leslie: What?

Taylor: Leslie, I'm not stupid. Why did you tell Leigheanna that stuff?

Leslie: Taylor, which part of "I was joking" isn't clear? Do you need me to draw it for you?

Alaena: There's no need to bicker, guys. After all, that was just a phone prank.

Aaron: Yeah, a well-made prank, I have to say!

Aaron and Leslie high-five each other, causing Taylor to snort and roll his eyes at them.

Aaron: Come on, Tay, stop acting like the stuck-up adult and enjoy yourself!

Taylor: I'd enjoy myself more if Leighy were here with us.

Leslie: Oh, come on, Taylor. It's not the end of the world. She'll call us eventually, so...

As Leslie speaks, however, Taylor's phone is ringing. He really hopes it's his sister, as he longs to hear his voice after almost two weeks. Though, it doesn't look like Leigheanna is calling.

Phone call between Dave and Taylor

Dave: Hello, Taylor. Are you enjoying yourself?

Taylor: As usual, Dad.

Aaron: Don't lie to us, dude. You've just said you miss L-

Taylor: Shut the fuck up! Sorry, Dad, it was just Aaron. I told him to take a hike. Anyway, what's the prob?

Dave: Have you heard from Leigheanna this morning?

Taylor: No. Why?

Dave: Because I can't find her.
