8am

Bridgette: So, Leighy, it's time to leave. I'll call you when Abbie arrives.

Leigheanna: Don't spoil her too much, remember? This is not her house.

Bridgette: Stop being so obnoxious. Everything will be fine.

Leigheanna: As fine as Taylor deciding to leave me out of the Vegas trip on purpose? Do you really think a summer with Aunt Kaitlin would be more valuable? Am I your daughter or just one of your pointless nieces?

Bridgette: Leigheanna, that's enough! Take all your stuff and get your butt out of here! I'm fed up of your antics!

Leigheanna: Oh, okay. So, when Abbie treats you like a servant, don't expect me to listen to your prayers, but rather tell you 'I've told you'.

Bridgette: Get. The. Freak. Out!

Leigheanna: In that case, see you never, you traitor!

Leigheanna leaves her room, and then the house, with all her stuff packed, slamming the door.

11am

Leigheanna is on the coach that takes her to Kaitlin's hometown. She's bored, so she decides to call her friends.

Phone call between Leigheanna and Aaron

Leigheanna: Hey Aaron, how are you?

Aaron: Fine, I've just waken up with Taylor and Riley. The girls are still in bed.

Leigheanna: So, you've just settled in the hotel, right?

Aaron: Hotel? No way! Riley and Bailey managed to rent a house for the summer! It's huge, with a garden and a pool outside - you can do basically what you want! I think we're going to throw epic parties when we're not visiting the city!

Leigheanna: Lucky you. Knowing Kaitlin's place - and it's not the first time I've been there, the house will be too small to host both me and my sass.

Aaron: Haha, how come there's no room for your sass there? I guess the house is entirely occupied by your cousins' inflated ego.

Leigheanna: At least, Abbie won't be there. She's just the worst. I really hope Mom won't start treating her like her own daughter, though.

Aaron: Oh, don't worry, L. Your mama is too good to deal with such a bitch.

Leigheanna: Haha. I'd like to talk to you more, but I guess you have to go.

Aaron: Indeed. Taylor has just asked me to go to the mart with him.

Leigheanna: Why can't he just go on his own? Okay, I'm only joking. Hoping to hear from the rest of you soon.

Aaron: I hope so. Have a nice summer. Oops, I forgot... it won't be nice at all.

Leigheanna: Oh, shut up!

Leigheanna hangs up and starts blasting music on her earphones, while the coach is still travelling towards Kaitlin's hometown.

2pm

Leigheanna has finally reached Kaitlin's hometown. She expects her aunt to wait for her, with her stern looks, but, instead, she has to put up with stern looks from three of her cousins, Alaria, Elyce and Meara.

Alaria: Huh. At last you came.

Leigheanna: Am I late?

Elyce: Oh, yes, you are.

Alaria: Oh, no, she's not. Elyce, stop being a bitch and don't stoop to Kait's level for once!

Leigheanna: Oh, someone who agrees with me, for once.

Alaria: Shut up, please. We're not friends, remember that.

Leigheanna: Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you or your pride at all. Oops. I think I sassed once again.

Meara: Oh, don't worry, those brats deserve a little bit of your sass. Come on, girls, stop being bitches and let's drive our cousin home.

Elyce: I hate you, Meara.

Meara: If so, then I loathe you.

Leigheanna: Oh, come on, stop loathing each other and help me!

Alaria: Oh, sorry, Your Highness, did we piss you off?

Leigheanna: Shut the fuck up and drive.

The girls get on the car, without even looking or talking to each other. Alaria is driving - better say, she's threatening to cause an accident by speeding way too much.

Leigheanna: What's this? A freaking roller coaster?

Alaria: Hold your fucking tongue if you don't want to walk.

Leigheanna: Are you mad? Do you want to kill someone?

Alaria: I'll kill you if you don't shut up.

Leigheanna: Fuck off!

Meara: Kait is definitely going to kill you if your driving isn't, darling.

Alaria: Are you on her side already?

Meara: No, darling, I'm siding with sense.

Leigheanna: Oh my gosh! Who the hell is calling now?

Phone call between Leigheanna and Bridgette

Leigheanna: Mom! Are you kidding me? Why are you calling now?

Bridgette: Calm down, young lady.

Leigheanna: How can I keep calm when Alaria is threatening to kill us?

Bridgette: Stop exaggerating! How many times do I have to tell you?

Leigheanna: Mom, she's on the brink of getting arrested for speeding.

Bridgette: Typical of Kaitlin. She didn't even bother teaching her daughters how to drive properly...

Leigheanna: Mom, they're hearing everything! Stop it!

Meara: Hi, Aunt, how are you?

Elyce: Stop being nice to Aunt Bridgette! She's saying shit about us, as usual, obviously.

Bridgette: I'm fine, Meara. By the way, Leighy, I can perceive your cousins are not quite okay with you visiting. Is everything okay? Did you even say anything bad to any of them?

Leigheanna: Let's just say a sass battle is up and running.

Bridgette: You know your sass may lead you to say things you don't even think, so, before opening that mouth of yours, please think twice!

Leigheanna: But Mom, I can't let myself be taunted all the time...

Bridgette: It's hard, it takes effort, I know, but, please, try to be nice for once!

Leigheanna: Okay, if you insist...

Bridgette: Okay, Abbie is about to come to town, and I have to say she's quite late...

Meara: Late? How come? I could swear she woke up at 7am.

Alaria: Huh. She's overslept lately. Not something Kait would approve of.

Bridgette: Okay, darling. I'm going to call you later. Goodbye.

Leigheanna: Bye, Mom.

Leigheanna hangs up, all while her cousins, with the clear exception of Alaria, are staring at her blankly.

Meara: Wow. It doesn't look like Aunt's opinion on us changed a lot since last time.

Leigheanna: Things may change. Or maybe not. Personally, I don't know.

Alaria: Okay, girls, we've just arrived. You, Leigheanna, take your stuff inside. Meara will help you. I need to make a call.

Leigheanna: Okay. Let's go.

At last, Kaitlin, the very last person Leigheanna wants to see, shows up.

Kaitlin: Hello, Leigheanna. How are you? Have you left your sass at home?

Leigheanna: Hello, Aunt. I was actually fine before seeing you, but this doesn't matter so much, because I need to arrange my stuff.

Kaitlin: Oh, okay. Sorry. Make yourself at home, anyway. I have to talk a little bit to Abbie, if that's a problem for you.

Leigheanna: I'll make myself unnoticed, if it solves the problem. Thank you.

With that said, Leigheanna disappears inside, following Meara, who's leading her to her new room.

Meara: Okay, that's it. I hope you like it.

Leigheanna: Thank you.

Meara: Oh, are you going to talk to your friends?

Leigheanna: Sort of. Now, can you leave me alone?

Meara: Sorry.

As Meara leaves the room, Leigheanna stares at her phone, trying to figure out who to call next.
