Sit in the front of the class. I know what your thinking "ARE YOU CRAZY" yes I am but not because of this. Most people don't talk to students in the first few rows because they make assumptions that the students are stuck up and too up tight. Although this assumption usually isn't true it does get the students to not talk as much to you in class. Sitting in the back will get you attention. People will be chatting, chewing gum and hitting on others so it's most likely not in your comfort zone. People in the front of the class tend to listen more carefully and pay more attention to the teacher which means they'll pay less attention to you which also allows you to focus in class. There I just gave you another way to avoid people and brought up your grade in history. Your welcome.
