After carrying Serena and Gary to the Team Alpha's Base located in the Mt. Silver, he gathers the rest of his siblings, along with the Legendaries Darkrai and Xerneas.

"Xerneas, do your work." Xerneas nods and it glows, breaking them free from the stone. Before Gary and Serena can realize anything, Ash asks Darkrai to use the Dark Void, sending them into a nightmare.

"Insey, tell Professor Cerise to prepare for the transforming machine." Ash turns to Insey and says, "And then take Gary into it."

"What about Serena?" Insey asks. "Should she go as well?"

"No, I'll take her on the bed in my room." Ash says as he carries her to the bed, Ash is surprised that she weighs lighter than last time and he sighs.

Once he puts Serena carefully on the bed, Mark asks, "I don't get it, she hurts you a lot, why are you still doing this to her? Why don't you just kill her or transform her?"

Ash says, "I can't do it." This causes confusion to the siblings. Ash sits at the bed and says, "What she did is unforgivable, she cheated on other people. But I can't bear to hurt her, my feelings for her hasn't changed and it is going to affect me."

"Even after all of that? You still love her?" Trenor is surprised. Insey also comes back and reports to them that Gary is set. Ash nods and then he looks at the window. "Why is love being this confusing? Why couldn't I let go of her like what she did to me?"

The five siblings look at each other, and Insey says, "I think I could understand what he is feeling."

"Same here." Trenor says, "That is why we are going to make a better world, a world without hurt or conflict, no Team Rocket or other criminals, all of us can be happy."

The other three people nod in agreement, Ash says, "Guys, I want to be alone with this blonde haired traitor."

The five of them nod as they leave the room, Ash frowns at the sleeping beauty in front of her, who has been struggling in a nightmare as he clicks his tongue. He takes out Cresselia and then asks her to use Lunar Dance on her, making her comfortable for a while.

"Father? If you want her to have good dreams? Why did you need Darkrai anyways?" Cresselia asks in worry.

Ash says, "I am sorry, Cresselia. I have a little patience when it comes to this sort of them. Even though I vowed that I am not going to save a human, I still can't do it without my heart swaying..."

He then pets the Pokemon as he recalls her, then he decides to sit at the table waiting for her to wake up. But time after time, Ash feels sleepy and then he falls into slumber.

After a few minutes, Serena wakes up, only to find that Ash is sleeping at the table. The sleepy face he is making causing Serena to have both her heart fluttered and her face blushing red.

"Ash..." But she remembers that he tells Yveltal to use Oblivion Wing on her, she looks around and finds that the room is the same room where Ash is back in his house.

"Why I am here?" Serena thinks as she goes to the window, only to notice that all is now and there is nothing else. "What is this place..."

Ash yawns a little as he notices that Serena wakes up, judging by the curious reaction throughout the window, he decides to make a stern face, "So you are awake."

Serena turns around and faces him. "Ash, is that really you? I thought that you are really the leader of Team Alpha or something..."

"I am the Leader of Team Alpha, you are now our hostage." Ash says coldly.

Serena gasps as she can't believe it, the boy she loves is the leader of a group who tries to destroy the world. She plucks up the courage and asks, "Where did you take me? Where is Gary?"

Ash says, "This is our main base of Team Alpha. Kyurem uses the Glaciate to make us covered in the snow and blizzard. That way, you can't contact other or even escape this place. As for Gary, he is in another room like yours, he is also one of our hostages."

Serena is now angry and she asks, "Why are you doing this? Why are you attacking us? You saved the world a lot of times and why trying to destroy the world that you protected?"

Ash says, "I have been wondering the same thing, why would I destroy the world I tried hard to protect? But it is simple, Lysandre's ambitions were right. I tried to help out those in need, and then they grew accustomed to my help and they all get greedy, saving the world is kinda being my responsibility and I didn't get anything in return."

"Greedy?" Serena asks, "Are you saying that everything happened is because we are greedy for your work? How is that even make sense?"

Ash says, "I should take you for an example. I was going to propose to you after my Galar League battle, but you decided to go with Calem. You treated me like I never existed when I saw everything in my own eyes, if you love someone else, why bother giving me that kiss and telling me that you will becoming an attractive woman for me back then?"

Serena feels heartbroken after hearing Ash's words, which stung her like Beedrill's Pin Missile. Ash says, "I don't care why you changed or the reasons behind it. You hurt me, that is an undeniable truth, there is no way of relieving what you hurt me."

Serena knows that she is the wrong one at first, but she says, "But that doesn't give you the right to control all the Legendary Pokemon. You treat them as your slaves to do this world-changing stuff? You are no better than Giovanni or Lysandre, you are just a mad man-"

A slap is heard and Serena falls down to the ground, with a red palm mark on her cheek. Ash is now angry and he says, "I will NEVER treat Legendary Pokemon as slaves. I am NOT like Giovanni or Lysandre! You-"

Ash sees how Serena is crying with her pained cheeks getting wet from the tears, he then turns around, "Forget it, you won't understand the hate of all the Legendary Pokemon. I am going to check out Gary and you are not going anywhere.

Serena sees Ash turns around and heads towards the door, she stands back up and yells, "Wait, Ash!" But her pleas are ignored and Ash closes the door, locking it. Serena bangs on it and then tries to open it, but in vain. "Let me out, Ash! Ash! Are you listening to me?"

But Ash is already long gone, so nobody is listening to her. She just kneels down on the floor as she is now weeping. "Ash..."

After checking out Gary, Ash is sitting with his siblings as Minami asks, "So how is Serena?"

"She has the nerve of saying that Legendary Pokemon are my slaves." Ash says. "Don't worry, she is not going out of that room for now."

"But that is your room, Brother. If you are letting her stay there, then where are you going to sleep?" Trenor asks.

"I will be sleeping in that room as well." Ash says. "I just got an additional roommate if you think of it."

He opens his backpack and looks inside, and then he clicks his teeth, "Oh no, I forgot my diary at my room."

"That is terrible, what are you going to do?" Golly asks.

"Well, it is fine. I don't care if she sees it." Ash says. "It won't change a thing once she learned the past."

Serena is sitting at the bed, her eyes are red as her tears were dried. "Why did it have to be like this..." Serena says.

Just then, she notices a dairy on the desk as she is curious about it. Once she opens the book, she recognizes the words and she says, "This is...Ash's diary...I never knew Ash will keep a diary..."

She then starts to read and she mutters, "I finally won against the undefeatable Champion Leon...at first I wanted to congratulate the news with Serena, and I wanted to confess my love towards her. Pikachu helped me choose a bouquet of flowers from the beautiful garden in the Lumiose City, and we decided to go to Vaniville to find her. But when I got there, I saw it...that boy...he kissed Serena...my fear has become real. I had hoped that all is a joke and she was forced, but what she said broke my heart. It was then I dropped my bouquet and ran...I can't believe it...I am too late...why did she do this to me?"

Serena then remembers she found a bouquet of roses on the floor after that scene, but she just decided to ignored it. "Those were Ash's flowers...what was I thinking?"

Guilt has filled in her heart and she continues to read. "And after I came back to the Kanto Region...I found that all my property has been gone...my Pokemon, my money...even my Mother and my house, they were set on fire. I rush into my house and find my mother. I tried to take her and leave, but she denies it, I remembered the words that ring in my mind, "Find your siblings...and I love you..." Those are her final words...I can't believe it...even my mother has left me, first is Serena and now Mother, what did I even do to get this punishment?"

Serena frowns as she continues to read, "I gave my mom a funereal, but my friends didn't show up. I had a little hope for Serena to come, but she didn't...and it make me very sure that she didn't love me anymore. I decided to find Professor Oak since he is the closest person to me, but I was naive. He tells me that he is the one that plans everything, about how he separate my siblings and how he asks those greedy people to take my Pokemon and my money. Not only that, it is their work that my mother is killed and my house is burnt.

A grandfather figure like him would do something as evil as Team Rocket? I thought that it was just a dream, but I saw him taking out a gun, and he shot Pikachu...that was the last straw. I couldn't take it anymore. I prepared to let him kill me, but that didn't happen. I wonder why, and then I saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes, there is another me, he swiftly handled Professor Oak and killed him. I wondered who he is...and it was then that he told me. He is a self that was split from me. I can't believe it. He is actually Arceus himself. And he just glowed white and then he disappeared. I felt weird, it feels like a part of my body is back inside me. I am Arceus...and I still can't believe it."

Serena gasps and says, "So that is why Arceus didn't show up...it is because that he was Ash this whole time..." She decides to stop reading as she lies on the bed. "So that was what Ash has been through...and Misty and the others, did they really do that to him? Steal his Pokemon and his money for their greed?"

Serena feels another headache as she decides to sleep for now, she has a lot of questions, but she decides not to think about it for now.
