Back in the Sevestar Castle, Ash and Alice are now lying on the bed as they have only 12 hours remaining left. Both of them are really weak as they have been sleeping for 4 hours. As for the others, they have been trying to figure out how to activate the Infinity Gems.

Calyrex and Arceus are also there as they notice the gem, Calyrex says, "To get rid of the Violet Depression inside them, we need a sacrifice to give all of his/her Aura to them."

"Are you kidding me? You mean we have to sacrifice one of us to activate the gem?" David asks.

"But we don't have much time. Who is going to do the sacrifice?" Helen asks.

"I'll do it." Adam says, "Ash is my son and Alice is my daughter-in-law, it will be better if I sacrifice myself."

"No, Dad." Minami says, "If you sacrifice yourself, what about Kanto? They still need you. It should've been one of us!"

Golly says, "Minami's right, I can be the sacrifice."

"No, it should be me." Then the Ketchum siblings start to argue, much to the others' sweatdropping. Daniel notices something and he says, "Wait, guys! Something is coming!"

Just then, they can feel an earthquake as they look out of the window, a female demon with a snake-like body is attacking the castle.

"There is one demon left?" Minami gasps.

"There are 9 demons, and we have been splitting into 9 groups, each of us has killed a demon...who didn't?" Mark asks.

"Our group didn't." Lillie says, referring to her, Ash, and Alice.

After they get outside, they are facing the demon as Mark goes for the Rock Tomb, but the demon just dodges the attack.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" Trenor demands.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm here for the Gems! I know you have all 18 of them, and those 8 pieces of crap aren't doing anything." The demon says. "So all come to me. If you compare me to those seven, then you're wrong!" The Demon then goes for Thousand Arrows, forcing everyone to dodge while the Aura users are using Protect.

Adam says, "I guess he has to be the leader, Zayen. She has the power of the Legendary Pokemon, that's why she can use the Thousand Arrows."

"But we don't have much time! We have to stop her fast so we can save Brother and Alice. They only have 11 more hours to save." Trenor says.

Then the Ketchums and the Maches continue to fight against the demon using their aura powers, while the others are trying to protect the gems, Minami says, "Let's see what those gems can do."

She raises the Ice Gem, shooting at the demon, but the demon dodges the attack with ease and says, "Trying to calm me down? Don't ever think of it."

Minami grits her teeth as the Ice Gem is known as the Gem of Calmness. It is capable of calming down even the angriest beast in the whole world, thus letting those who hold it talk casually. She tries to use the Poison Gem instead, but when it hits the demon, it doesn't seem to do anything as well.

"The Poison Gem is known for the Gem of disease...however, I don't think it can be used on a demon like her..." Golly says as she dodges the upcoming Astral Barrage.

They continue to use other gems, but none of them works. Zayen laughs and mocks, "You fools, trying to use the gems to stop me? That's foolish thinking. I'm the strongest, and those attacks aren't going to affect me."

"If that's the case, why are you still after the Infinity Gems if you think they're useless to you?" Adam asks.

"They might be useless when used on you, however, they are not useless if I'm the one using them. With my powers, I will be unstoppable!" The demon mocks.

"You..." They can't believe what they've heard from the demon, sure, demons have twisted minds, but this one is the worse.

"It is fun playing games with you, but now it's time for all of you to go sleep!" The demon yells as she goes for Multi Attack, hitting every single one of them as they all fall down to the ground in pain. At the same time, the demon also raises her hands as all 18 gems are floating in the air.

"No...The gems!" Insey yells in horror.

"They are all mine now!" The demon reaches out her hand, trying to grab the gems, however, a beam of light hits the demon's hand, causing her to get the first pain.

"Who did this?" The demon looks around, only to see a ghost standing in front of her. The others are looking up and they gasp, Golly asks, "Mom?"

The 18 gems are moving around, forming a sphere, and Delia is using a ghostly hand to hold them. She stares at the demon as strong winds appear.

"Wait, what's this?" The demon yells in horror as she feels herself being sucked into the sphere. "No! Let me go! Stop this instant! I'm supposed to be the strongest!"

"What's going on? Why is the demon screaming in pain?" Drandon asks in confusion.

Calyrex says, "The Ghost Gem makes Delia's soul solidified, and she is going to use all 18 gems to absorb the aura of the demon. In the end, the demon will be the sacrifice to save both Ash and Alice."

"So...none of us have to sacrifice ourselves?" Gladion asks.

"It seems to be like it." Arceus replies as they see how the demon's powers are taken, and the demon is now falling to the ground. Golly walks towards the demon and she says, "She might be alive, but we have to finish her."

"Demons aren't supposed to be in our world." Arceus says, "Do the honors."

Golly then uses the knife to stab the demon, with the power to scream, the demon just explodes in the end, causing everyone to be covered by the demon's blood.

"Just great...now we're really messy." Reisa says, not liking the fact that blood is on their bodies.

"But what about Mom?" Mark asks, and they find Delia holding the gems floating into the room.

Ash and Alice find themselves in an infinite space full of whiteness, they don't feel pain inside their bodies and they don't see anyone except for the two of them.

"Are we dead? Ash? Are they too late to activate the gems?" Alice asks.

"I don't know." Ash says. "I really hope that isn't the case."

Just then, in front of them, they notice a figure walking toward them, and that figure turns out to be Delia Ketchum.

"Mom! Is that you?" Ash asks.

"Ash, Alice I'm as real as a memory." Delia replies, causing the both of them to gasp as tears start to form in Ash's eyes.

"Mom...I really miss you." Ash says. "I really don't want you to die..."

Ash hugs his mother and Delia smiles, "I know, I told you before, my time was up."

Then she turns to Alice and says, "And I'm glad that you have found yourself a nice girlfriend. I'm very proud of both of you."

"You're flattered, Ms. Ketchum." Alice says. "But there are some things we want to ask you about. Is it fine for you?"

Delia nods and frowns a little, "My mother has told you about my past, hasn't she?"

"So you really were an assassin in the past?" Ash asks.

"Yes. It is not something I'm happy about. Especially after I'm abducted by Team Rocket, I have to kill for them. My heart has been wandering in the darkness, and it makes me into a killing machine. Everything changed when I met your father, he is a nice man who really cares about me. I know I might have cut ties with my family because of how they abandoned me, but Adam still tries to make us together again."

Delia notices Ash's confused face and she says, "I know it is confusing to you, ever since Golly's death and Adam's seemingly death, I didn't show any of the darkness in my heart while raising you to be a fine man. That's because of you."

"Me?" Ash asks.

"I don't want you to follow my path of destruction, that's why I want to be a role model for you." Delia says, "Professor Oak also knows about my past, and he decides to help me a lot of times, like how you remembered."

Delia frowns a little and says, "However, after you went to Kalos, Yveltal and Arceus have come to me. They told me about my death."

"Wait, so you knew that my friends were going to kill you? Then why didn't you stop me when I was in the Alola Region?" Ash asks.

"Just because I knew the future doesn't mean I can interfere with it. You can confirm this with your Psychic Type Leader." Delia sighs. "Before I got myself killed, I got a mission that might pain me a lot."

"To kill the ones bullying me?" Alice asks.

"That's right. Arceus told me how you two would make a perfect couple, but the Violet Depression might have been affecting Alice's heart. That's why I've decided to take revenge on all 18 of them." Delia says.

"But you shouldn't try to kill them...I mean, that was still wrong..." Alice mutters.

"I know, but I don't have a choice." Delia says, "Yveltal is basically the god of death, he has the power to deem those who live or not. That's why every time when you try to revive me, I have refused to accept it."

"I see..." Ash says, "I heard how Mark tries to use Rock Gem to revive you, but you kill yourself again in the end."

Delia says, "Unlike me, both you and Alice still have a bright future ahead of you. With the aura of the demon leader, both of you will be able to get rid of the Violet Depression. Not only that, but you will also gain the aura power of the Legendary Pokemon, which means, you can use your aura weapons to use moves corresponding to a Legendary Pokemon."

"You mean like Oblivion Wing or Jungle Healing?" Alice asks.

"That's right. Now wake up, and find your friends and family, telling them you're safe." Delia says.

"But what about you?" Ash asks.

"Don't worry about me, I'll always be in your heart." Delia says as their vision starts to fade away. When Ash and Alice wake up again, they find themselves sitting on the bed inside their castle.

"Ash and Alice are awake!" Everyone is cheering in joy as they gather around them, as they are still confused as to what happened.

"Guys?" Ash and Alice ask in unison.

"We were worried when you two didn't wake up after we managed to put the demon's aura into your bodies." Adam says. "But it seems that your Violet Depression is gone."

"Yeah." Ash and Alice can't help but shed some tears, they tell them about what Delia has said inside their minds, and they all feel sad for them. Reisa is the first one to get cheered up and she says, "That's why we have to finish the League inspection quickly so we can do a trial to make you innocent."

"That's right." East says, "Since you're up again, I guess the next gym is mine for the Champions."

"And me for the gym leaders." Elline says as the others also nod, then they decide to keep everything that happened a secret from others as they leave to do their League inspection.

And here is a new chapter, and as you can see, Ash and Alice are now fully recovered and the Demons are gone forever. I hope you like this chapter and we'll be continuing the Sevestar Region after Quest Town.
