After the rain stopped, Ash and Lillie are now outside of the cave. Ash asks, "So you are born from Kalos, and you have been living in Alola since you were little, is that right?"

Lillie nods, "Yeah. The Aether Foundation is a place where my Mom is working, and because of business, she brought me and my brother to Kanto. But I can't believe I got lost...my mother and my brother must be very worried."

Ash says, "You know, I am envious of you, from what I heard, you sure have a great brother and a great mother."

"It is not that great, to be honest. My mother is always working and my brother is very overprotective. You have your mother support you after all."

"Yeah...but even though there are differences, we still have a lot in common...like our fathers aren't in our lives." Ash frowns, all he knows is that his father is traveling far away, but he doesn't know where he is.

"Yeah." Lillie says, "I miss him as well...Every time, I'm always wondering if he will return to us."

As Pallet Town is in their view, Lillie and Ash know that they are going their separate ways. Just in a small amount of time, both of them are developing their feelings toward each other. Ash and Lillie share a deep embrace with so much passion and love, and they dare not move or make any attempt to break the silence. Their time together may be limited, but they know that every second would be greatly cherished.

"My family should be in that direction over there..." Lillie breaks the hug and says, "So I guess this is goodbye."

Ash gives her a sad look and says, "This is not a goodbye, Lillie. I refuse to see it as a goodbye. Even though I just met you for several hours, I finally have the girl of my dreams in dreams with me and I don't plan to let go."

Lillie blushes a little and says, "Me too, but my family is waiting for me, and your family is waiting for you too. And since you are heading towards Hoenn, who knows when we will meet each other again? I don't like a long distant relationship, it seems hollow."

"Then I'll quit my journey, I'll quit becoming a Pokemon trainer, and I'll even give up my dream so I can come with you and help you." Ash says, causing her to gasp.

"No, I can't let you do that for my sake." Lillie says, "I refuse to be the one who holds you back down. Besides, I am not a trainer, you shouldn't give up because of me, I don't want you to live in regret because I am the fault."

"I won't regret a thing, because I met you, I have you." Ash says.

Arceus coughs and says, "I am delighted that both of you care for each other this much, but you forgot that I can help you, right?"

Ash asks, "What do you mean? Arceus?"

Arceus glows and there is a pendant on Lillie's hands. Arceus says, "This is a special pendant. With this, you'll be able to teleport close to Ash if you want to."

Lillie looks at the Pendant and smiles, "Thank you, Arceus. I will cherish your present."

After putting the pendent inside her dress' pocket, Ash gives her a final hug, and says, "Lillie, how about we make a promise, every Sunday, we will meet each other. Alone and no one is going to disturb us."

Lillie smiles, "I like this idea. Then I'll be waiting for you next Sunday." Then they break the hug and bid farewell. Pikachu notices that Ash sees Lillie leaving with tears in his eyes, Arceus says, "Pikachu, it seems like he is fallen in love, don't you think?"

Pikachu agrees and Ash then runs back home. As they are back home, Ash greets his mother and Mimey in the living room. Delia says, "Welcome back, my Johto Champion."

"Mom, I didn't win the Johto League, but it is good to be back." Ash hugs his Mother.

"Honey, you're always my Johto Champion. Now please wash your hands first." Delia says.

Ash nods as he goes to his bathroom to clean his hands, and then he has hot cocoa made by his mother. Delia notices his smiling face and says, "It seems like you are happy."

"I'm happy." Ash says, but he then remembers his secret with Lillie, then he decides to say, "I mean, I have to stay positive even though I didn't win the Johto League. Harison sure is a strong opponent. I would also win the Kanto League if Charizard didn't take a nap...And the fact that the Orange Islands aren't an official league..."

Delia says, "You shouldn't put that in your heart, it is in the past and what matters is what you achieve now. That is a part of growing up."

"You're right, Mom. I am not a kid anymore." Ash says as he finishes his hot cocoa. Delia asks, "By the way, why don't you go greet Professor Oak, Professor Mohn, and Tracy?"

Ash says, "I will go meet them, Mom. But I just come back home without an hour, aren't you feeling lonely once I leave the house again?"

Delia blinks in surprise, since when Ash is being thoughtful now? Delia smiles and says, "Ash, honey. I am your mother, after all, I know that you are dying to meet your other Pokemon no matter what. I am not going to stop you."

Ash feels a little relaxed and he stands up from his seat, "Thank you, Mom. I'll be back later." Then Ash rushes out of the house with Pikachu and the invisible Arceus by his side.

Ash goes to the lab and greets the two Professors. Oak says, "Congratulations on your achievement in the Johto League, Ash."

"Thanks, Professor. I couldn't have done it without the help of my Pokemon." Ash says.

Mohn says, "So have you decided on what you are going next? Ash?"

"Of course, Professor Mohn. I am going to Hoenn since the person that I lost to, Harrison, told me a lot of things there and I want to explore some more." Ash says.

"I see...then I will contact Professor Birch for your arrival, why don't you go play with your Pokemon for now?"

"Sure." Ash says as he goes towards the backyard, but then he doesn't know why, when seeing Professor Mohn, he starts to remind him of Lillie. But he just shrugs it off and goes outside.

Once they get outside, Ash is greeted by Bulbasaur, Kingler, Muk, Tauros, Snorlax, Heracross, Bayleef, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Noctowl, and Phanpy. Arceus sees the Pokemon and he says, "Such nice Pokemon, you sure take care of them well."

"I know." Ash says, "Guys, I am going to introduce a new friend to you guys, and trust me, you will be excited to see her."

Just then, Arceus shows herself, and then the Pokemon are shocked as they quickly bow down to her. They are saying something that Ash doesn't know, but he thinks that they are saying how he captured her. Arceus says, "I was injured as I was staying in a cave, but Ash found me and treated me as a Pokemon rather than a god. He also treated me as a friend, which no one has done such thing before. I decided to join his team so that I can train all of you guys and Ash to achieve his dream."

This causes the Pokemon to be shocked and they cheer for Ash. But their cries are so loud that Professor Oak and Professor Mohn decide to come outside of the lab and see what is going on. Professor Oak says, "Ash, I heard a commotion, did something just happen?"

Ash knows that Arceus prefers privacy, he also notices that Arceus has become invisible as he says, "I am sorry to make you worried, Professor. My Pokemon just missed me as they want to tackle me to a hug. Right, guys?"

The Pokemon all nod because that is what Arceus told them. They also know that they can't let the humans know about Arceus except for Ash. Mohn says, "Is that so? By the way, the tickets are booked, we bought you tickets from Seafoam to the Littleroot."

"That's great." Ash says. "I can't wait to go there."

At the same time, Lillie is walking around the route until they find the camp where their family set up near the entrance of Pallet Town. A boy with blonde hair is standing at the gate of the camp with a face of worry.

"Brother!" Lillie rushes towards him as he finally notices her. He quickly rushes to her and he asks, "Where have you been? You just went missing. Don't you know we are worried?"

"I am sorry...I was lost in the Viridian Forest..." Lillie says. "And it is nice to meet you again, Umbreon."

As Lillie pets the Umbreon, much to the latter's surprise, Lillie's brother is also surprised. "You can touch Pokemon..."

He quickly goes into the camp and rushes to the room where his mother and Adam are talking. "Mom, Adam. You won't believe this."

Their mother Lusamine sees that the boy rushes in, and she asks, "Gladion? What's the matter? Did you find Lillie?"

"I found her, but you won't believe it, she is petting my Umbreon. She can touch Pokemon again." Gladion says.

"Say what?" Lusamine and Adam rush outside to check out, and the fact that Lillie is playing with Umbreon and Clefable is disturbing to them.

"Lillie?" Lusamine asks, and Lillie stops playing with the two Pokemon and rushes to Lusamine. "Mother." Lillie hugs her and she says, "Mom, I can touch Pokemon...it is amazing..."

"How is it possible? What happened when we got separated?" Lusamine asks. "You wouldn't be able to touch Pokemon, why now?"

"I remembered the reason I couldn't touch Pokemon and I conquer my fear in the forest." Lillie decides not to tell them about meeting Arceus and having the pendant in her pocket. The three of them seem to be buying into the answer. Adam says, "We are glad that you can manage such feet. Now you really can be a good help when we are researching."

Lillie nods as she starts to remember about Ash, and she looks at Adam, she feels like they are familiar, but how? Maybe he can ask Ash if he knows Adam when they meet again.

In the helicopter, Adam turns to Lillie and asks, "The Viridian Forest is like a maze, I wonder how you get back here safely? Surely you had some help as well, right?"

Lillie says, "I met a trainer that saved me and brought me back, but he just left without saying his name." Lillie knows that it is bad for her to lie, but she promises not to mention his name to anyone else.

"Is that so...I am glad that you got help." Adam says while putting his hand on her head. "I am sure you will be able to meet him again."

"I will be." Lillie says with determination. "After all, we promised to meet every week..." She thinks.

Here is a new chapter. I am sure a lot of you know what fanfic I got inspired by, but even though it may have some similar plots, my ideas aren't going to fade in this story. And there goes the part of the Prologue. I hope you like it and I'll see you in the next chapter.
