Blisters and bruises covered my skin. I ached to have a good night's sleep but the rain was against it.

When sleep did take me nightmares enveloped my senses.

When my eyes fluttered open, shadows frightened my soul.

When I awoke the next morning, the sky was what I first saw. And it was covered in clouds. Beautiful and heartwarming.

And for the first time in months, I smiled. Hoping that the day could be a good one.

Alas, it did become a good one, for I met the cloud of my dreams and it was in form of a charming human.
