I'm overjoyed to announce that I've gotten all the judging scores and therefore can announce the winners of the short story category! 

All in all, there were 16 participants and every single story was enjoyable to read! Before I announce the winners, I kindly ask you to not be upset or sad if your story didn't win this time...

There were no bad scores and a lot of the stories are around the 30-40 mark point out of 50! These are amazing results, regardless of the fact if you're a winner or not, so you can be proud of yourself! 

I want to thank the participants for taking part in this "journey" with me and trusting me with the whole process. I will keep following all of you and am exited for updates of your stories! <3

There will be a reading list for the winners, where all category winners will be placed. As for now, the other reading lists will stay the same, eventually, after the award show is over, I will merge them all into one and title it something like "2021 Bangtan Awards Participants"!

Now, remember that for the author that placed first with their story, the journey's not over yet! The story will move on further into round 3 which will consist of all the categories' winners! 

Now, finally on to the part you've all been waiting for. 

I will not publish the individual reviews - if you are a participant in this category, you can write me a message and I will send it to you individually if you are interested in the feedback, that the judges gave you! <3

With that being said, here are the winner stories! If you're looking for interesting and quite short reads (they're short stories, duh...) then definitely check these out! All of them deserve way more attention!

4th place goes to a story that was able to get 42 points! The gaps between stories are very small, so it was a tight race!

I sincerely congratulate you all on your amazing achievements and hope, that we'll stay in contact on this platform! It was a pleasure "working" and chatting with you all, I hope we stay friends <3

Now, a message for everyone: For the 3rd and last round of judging I've thought about something... Of course we need judges for that and I thought about that I would love to pick some judges out of the ones that already applied and I find did a very good job at it... It would be a maximum of one judge per category that gets chosen that stories don't get prioritized.. Do you think this would be a good idea? Of course I would talk to them beforehand to make sure that they would want to do it and are ok with it but is it something you're generally interested in @/judges?

Or would you want me to just make a team where you have to apply again normally by filling out a form? It's just that I want the end ranking to be as fair as possible and a good way of doing that would be to get judges I already know are very capable and also easy to work with...
