We watched a couple vampire movies last night to keep the Halloween spirit going.  The first one was The Lost Boys, which I've seen a few times, but not in quite a while.  It's very 80's but it still holds up as a fun time, albeit a little more lightweight than I recall.  I've never really been a fan of teen heartthrobs, but the two Coreys are honestly pretty fun in it and not really playing up the teenybopper aspect at all.  There's actually a decent amount of laughs in it, too, so overall I would say it remains a solidly entertaining film.

The second one we watched was Only Lovers Left Alive, which I'd never seen before.  It's a little slow paced and more artsy, but I enjoyed it.  Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton had good chemistry together and it created a cool vibe.  I'm glad I watched it.  Probably going to try to do a couple more "scary" movies tonight, although I didn't think either of the vampire movies last night were all that scary.  But they did fit the Halloween mood.
