Why is a lot of food temperature dependent in order to be enjoyable?  Are we just conditioned that way or is there something inherently about them that makes it so?  Kim's dad says they used to market hot Dr. Pepper as a treat, but I've never heard of such a thing and, honestly, it sounds kind of gross.  It makes me wonder what it would be like to have other traditionally cold things served hot though.  Could you imagine if it were somehow possible to have hot ice cream?  That would actually be kind of interesting just because it's so hard to fathom.  If it had the texture and flavor of ice cream, but somehow didn't melt and could be served hot... I dunno, I kind of want to try it now, although I'm not sure how such a thing would come to be.
