So you know how we have beauty pageants to crown the champions of different countries?  We've got Miss America and Miss Germany and Miss Philippines and Miss Madagascar and whatnot.  That's cool and all, but how come when they come together to compete for the big crown, they win the title of Miss Universe?  That seems really unbelievably arrogant to me.  I'm sure the denizens of Alpha Centauri might have a thing or two to say about that.

We're not even just talking about our local galaxy here that we're claiming the title over.  No, it's the entire freaking universe.  Have you seen those images from the James Webb telescope?  Do you have any clue how many galaxies are out there?  And we think Miss Canada is categorically the champion over all of them?

I don't think so.
