To be honest, I lost count.

The last time I could remember, it was something in between Day 667 to Day 669. Which was so long ago.

It doesn't matter now, that I have to make it up.

No more mistakes.

Stepping out of the portal, looking around at the town square, there's no much of a difference is it?

"Thank you! Please come back later." She smiled, nodded at the young girl in her green dress.

I breathe in the air, like the first time years ago, trying to stop the shakiness from my hands by holding onto the door knob tight.

this is it.

The bell chimed, signalling my entrance.

That deep brown hair fanning over her shoulders like a settling dust cloud.

Her every expressions, felt like it tugged at another string in the heart.

Those eyelashes, I wonder many muscles does it take to hold them up just to actually make her to see me?

"One iced cafe latte."

"Name?"

"Ca.."

"Only 'Ca'?"

"Cahaya."

I did it. I said it finally.

Her eyes were those warm brown. Swirling like a warm hot chocolate in a cold winter.

"Air I-"

"Mama!"

She turn to her 8 year old mini who just running into the cafe towards the counter. The young boy's eyes were teary as he hold up his whale keychain plushie. "Whalie is broken! I didn't mean to step on it!" he whines, getting all teared up again. "I'm sorry mama..i-its y-your gift-"

"shhshh. Its alright Glacy." she smiled, patting her child's head. "What was it just now sir?"

I shook my head, smiling. "I'll be sitting there." pointing to the seat that used to be my throne here.

damn

I'm too late, aren't I?

"Day xx. 3 o'clock." I whispered, writing out on the notebook.

"Ice Queen,

i'm sorry for being selfish. i'm sorry making you feel like being played. i'm sorry for leaving you alone at the park i can't bring myself to give you a proper goodbye and i sure regret it haha" I can hear the crack in my voice, damn. I used to be so good in acting before. Please... not now..

"but, just so you know. all of them are the truth. thank you for letting me to play a part in your life." warm tears threatened at the corner of my eyes. why, why...

" i wish the best for your family. aah.. too bad, i'm too late to attend your wedding ceremony. but Glacier is so cute y'know?

again, thank you.

and... i love you, Air. i really do." wiping the tears with the end of my sleeve, I keep on writing.

"someone you loved," it felt so wrong. but I...can't help it..

Cahaya."

"u-uhm..."  a shy voice halt me from writing. The child look at me, he looks alot like her.. it's heartwarming, but it hurts in the same time. "..here."

"Thank you, Glacie?" I recall his nickname.

"The name's Glacier, but mama calls me Glacie."

"Is that so? So cute." I paused, handing Glacier the notebook I wrote. "Can you do me a favor?"

"they should've written that heartbreaks are real." he sighed. "it hurts like hell."

"I told you." Tanah said, closing the portal once the owner of the trademark white jacket steps out. There's a pity in his eyes staring at his best friend state. "but at least you met her, despite me, his brother." Tanah smiled, patting Cahaya's shoulder.

"she have a kid. cute."

"wow. I'm..." Tanah speechless. Even he is still a single pringle. "its okay Cahaya. you still have us. I'm still a little mad that you actually met her without telling me first. Even years before that." Tanah nagged only to be replied by a slow chuckle from Cahaya.

"Dinner at Angin's house. I'll call Petir to comfort you."
"I rather commit suicide, thank you."
"C'mon now, she's not that bad."

"You go first." Cahaya ushered Tanah out of his lab. He stare one last time at the portal.

goodbye...Air.
