Blaze mutters a string of curses underneath his breath as he peers over the wall, seeing a group of guards by the end of the hall. "Dang," He blows out a breath, hand holding his pained chest.

His lungs were burning from the lack of breath.

He had ran here to escape the large army, only to meet them again in the place where Solar would seemingly reside, seeing how it's the basement.

He opens his hand to see blood. His own blood.

Previously, some of the men had pierced bullets into his body. Due to them being laced with unfamiliar magic, Blaze got wounded. They were just minor scratches, however, as Ice had placed a protective seal over him before he left.

Blaze writhes in pain, clenching his teeth together. Despite his Wonder partner being a huge aid to whisking him away from death, this pain is incurable.

He had overused his powers, once again.

Without the help of Cyclone or Thunderstorm by his side, he was forced to reuse the art of his weapons repeatedly.

"Argh.." He struggles to get up on his feet, sweat beading on the side of his face and neck. He rips the material around his neck and sighs, slightly in relief and partly in unextinguishable agony.

If Blaze could describe the pain, he would. But in this case, it was far more than words, it was just the pure torment of fire coursing through his veins.

To put it simple : it felt as if he was burning alive, from the inside, as the side-effects of his God-given powers.

"Gosh," He huffs and pants, grinning to himself although his entire body throbbed together. "I'm really gonna die, am I?" Blaze chuckles dryly to himself.

Once again, he felt utterly hopeless.

Then one thing came to his mind. Thunder's seal. Orange eyes filled with hope once more. Even if I die here, I'd be returned into one piece up there.

In his mind, he could see Ice's figure telling him strictly, Do your best. Blaze gulps, and tightens his fist, remembering the next few words.

If you're going to die, he arises to his feet.

Then make it a honourable one for us to remember.

Blaze howls, in determination, staggering the entire place as the surge of power collectively goes through his body. This attracts the attention of the nearby guards, who gets into position and starts to shoot at him.

"I'll kill you," Smoke seethes out of his lips, and his entire body turned red, the shade of pure malic and anger. "I'll end you all.. I'll kill you all.."

"K-Kaizo!" One of the men shouts into his intercom. Fear engraves on his face as he watches Blaze, approaching them, expression darkened and pupils dilated at the thought of mass murder. "R-Requesting backup! We nee-"

"Your leader's dead." Blaze's head snaps upright.

The disk-like blades in his hands start to burn an inhuman shade of orange- bursting flames. It wasn't the flames that the army were afraid of.

It was the shadow of a demon behind Blaze.

Blaze grins, face distorting into maniacal laughter, his violating chuckles streaming out of his mouth.

"Die." And the rain of bullets started to haul on him.

"Blaze needs my help." Ice suddenly stood up from his seat, the wooden chair slamming to the ground in a heisty fall. He turns to Thorn, who blinks back at him innocently, mouth stuffed with Earthquake's homemade cookies. "I'm going."

"You?" Thorn swallows his treat and clears his throat, an eyebrow jacked up, "Where? You're bound in this smelly place, just like me."

"Too bad." Ice sneers, "I'm not entirely bound."

"Just because you live outside of the school doesn't mean that you're free to stay out of your set boundaries within a time limit." The Sixth Wonder raps, not taking a breath.

"I have a transfer seal that I got from Thunderst-"

"That brat gave you a seal?!" Thorn hits his fists on the table, annoyed. "He wouldn't even look at me whenever I tried to talk to him! It was just one mistake, ONE misunderstanding, and he hates me now!"

The Sixth Wonder continues to whine as Earthquake bounces into the room, her brown curls flowing in the air gracefully. She sets the new batch of cookies down.

"That's why you should be friends with everyone." She pats Thorn's head, who crosses his arms sulkily, "Ah, Ice, dear.. where are you going?"

"My question exactly!" The green-eyed apparition fumes.

Ice puts a hand on his hip and sighs, "I'm going to help Blaze." He looks back-and-forth between his two other companions, "He summoned me for help. If I don't show up soon, he's in trouble."

"Summoned?" They both jinxed together.

"Yeah." He nods curtly and walks backwards, "I'm not going to be out for long, don't worry. I know my limits too— once everything's done, I'll explain everything to the both of you."

Thorn's eyes turned to slits, but he didn't stop the Third Wonder from opening the door. "Whatever the hell you do, I want Solar back here with me."

Ice rolls his eyes, "You're too obsessed with him." He could hear Thorn's whining session again as he turns the knob to the right.

Before he stepped into the outside world, he turns.

"Hey Thorn," He calls, and the Sixth Wonder perks up, curious green eyes staring into his ocean blue ones. "I understand now. Blaze and Solar... they're not so different from each other, are they?"

The said spirit grins, "So you found out, hmm?"

Earthquake couldn't help but be curious about the topic they were talking about, "Found out what?"

"Solar's secret." Ice answers, stepping out. "No wonder those two are best friends. Their souls are practically similar to each other."

At the sight of the Third Wonder disappearing, Thorn lays back in his chair with a lopsided grin. "Ah.."

"Why are you smiling, Thorn?"

"Because he just cracked a mystery, Quakie."

ice is smarter than he looks, and why is he such
an underrated character? /throws mic to crowd/
anyway lolol if anyone's confused : there are lots
of types of seals. Ice's a medic, so he can heal
people indirectly from it. Thunder's.. you ask?
