She had knocked on her friend's house loudly. Her three friends died and it's high time he leaves the house. She will drag him out if she must, he grieved for too long. Today had been their dead friend's funeral but only she attended, he had been unreachable. Not anymore.

"What?" The door opened as she saw the Malaysian in a plain white shirt. "Where's-"

"I'm coming in," she declared as she pushed the door, forcing her in. She slammed the door shut behind her. "Let's talk- where were you this past week?"

"Where's our friend?"

"Dead," she answered coldly. "Alcohol poisoning. Had you actually turn on your phone, you would've known. Today had been his funeral."

"I had been grieving-"

"SO WAS I!" The girl glared at him. "SO WAS HE! FACE IT, THEY WEREN'T JUST YOUR FRIENDS- THEY WERE OUR FRIENDS TOO!"

"He-"

"YOU PROMISED THAT ALL OF US WILL STAY THE CLOSEST FRIENDS FOREVER!" Tears spilt out her eyes as she shouted her heart out. "WHEN SHE DIED, YOU SAID WE'LL CONTINUE TO LIVE OUR LIVES AS MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY, YET YOU'RE THE ONE HIDING IN THIS HOUSE'S WALLS. GUESS WHAT, I DON'T EVEN HAVE A HOUSE!"

"He died." He sat down on the sofa, dumbfounded. "My closest friend..."

"How can you even call yourself our friend?" She sniffed. "Friends don't abandon each other-"

"I don't abandon my friends-"

"YOU DO!" The girl punched her living friend's face repeatedly. "WE ACCEPTED YOU AS ONE OF US THE MOMENT YOU ARRIVED HERE! HE WAS YOUR CLOSEST FRIEND, HE STUCK BY YOUR SIDE NO MATTER WHAT! AND YOU LEFT HIM! YOU LEFT ME!"

"I'm sorry!"

"Sorry doesn't fix anything!" She kept punching him with every word before letting go. "Your power watch, you could've saved him. You could've taken the alcohol out!"

"I can't." She frowned as she glared at her friend.

"Why can't you?!"

"I took it off." He had a hand over his left wrist. True to his words, his wrists had been naked- except for some bandaids. "I didn't hold the death of our friends well and stopped using the power watch."

"And you had been cutting yourself."

He hid his wrists behind his back.

"I had been cutting myself since."

"You still abandoned us."

"I know I did-" he looked down.

"Not only you weren't holding up well," she hissed. "Why do you think we were drinking in the beginning? Absinthe, nonetheless! You know how strong absinthe is!"

"You were there, weren't you?" Her friend glared at her. "Why didn't you save him?"

"I TRIED!"

"IT'S YOUR FAULT!" He grabbed a chair nearest to him as he threw it to her, hitting her body. "HE DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!"

"NO!" She threw what was laying on top of the nearest table to her, which only later does she realised what it was as he fell down, scarlet covering his chest.

It had been a knife.

"No!" She ran to his side as she held him up to her lap. "Don't die on me!"

Why can't she save her friend?
