"Can you two tell me what exactly you were doing shoplifting the Quinte Mall? A police woman says." I read her name tag. Officer Deb.

"You see, both of our family's, are very poor, and we needed to get them some food." I say.

"What's the real answer? I've dealt with this situation many times, that is never the answer." Officer Deb says.

"Oh alright you got us. But, we were just hungry. "Alicia says.

"That's not a good reason. Now, I'm going to have to punish you. Your going to Juvie." Deb says.

"No, not Juvie, anything but that." I yell.

"Well, too bad. Or we could.........no that's not an option." Deb says.

"What's not an option?" I ask.

"You could.......participate in the show 50 Days....." Deb starts.

"50 Days! Oh my gosh I love that show!" I say.

"Are talking about that show where 50 teen criminals get put in the Quinte mall for 50 days?" Alicia says.

"Yes." Deb says.

"Oh, we'll gladly do that!" I say.

"But there is a catch." Deb says.

"What is it?" Alicia asks.

"If you win, you have to give half of the money to me. If you lose...you'll be put in Juvie." Deb says.

"You got a deal!" Alicia says.

"Alright......here's the rules." Deb says. She hands us two envelopes.

She lets us leave the police station and we go back to our houses. My address is 13 Greenwood drive, Belleville, Ontario. Alicia also lives there too. It's an apartment building. My apartment number is 123, and Alicia's is 124.

When we get back to our apartments I open he envelope and start reading it.

Congratulations dear reader, you have been chosen as a participant for our next season of 50 days.

Rules: There will be 50 teenagers, so from the age of 13-19. That all were criminals just like you. You will have to stay in the Quinte mall for 50 days. Each day one person will get voted out. Either by losing a challenge, or actually getting voted out. Once every week there is a vote, and once everyday, there will be a challenge. Once you enter the mall, you will need to have at least 1 ally. You can have a maximum of 10 ally's. And you are only allowed to bring one thing from your house. No electronics allowed! It is also on July 1st, 7:00am.
