A week went by with nothing much happening, and Mrs. Sterling was still fixed on becoming Ms. Devis. Alina's grandparents were still trying to persuade Mrs. Sterling of her decision, which was making Alina angry, but Mrs. Sterling under this pressure was working extra hard to find a new home and a new place to start her business. Both tasks starting to feel impossible.

Alina was busy with her baggage of worries, it was like life in San Fransisco had moved on without her, and her best friend and boyfriend were not replying to her calls or texts. As it was nearing the end of July schools were about to start, and she would have to soon enroll in a new high school.

As she wanders through this small city she notices most of the kids wearing the same Glory High badged uniform and at the end of the week, she and her mom are coming out of the Glory High School's building with a schedule and books list for the senior year in her hands.

This all was still at times feeling surreal to Alina, like she would wake up at any moment from this nightmare and her family and friends would be there for her. But alas this was the reality, the reality in which her dad hadn't even called her or her mom once, the reality in which her friends who promised to always stay in contact were ignoring her, the reality in which two of the most important person in her life after her parents, her best friend, and her boyfriend, were ignoring her. San Francisco was feeling a lot like a dream now.

From the most popular and loved girl in her high school, she will have to become a nobody in this new high school. would she make new friends? But what happened to my old friends? Old friends? Are they now my old friends? Are they happy without me? Is Dad happy without us? Where we are nothing but a burden always to everyone?

All the thoughts were always full of questions with no one to answer them, she wanted to shout at her mom, her dad, her bestie, her boyfriend, her grandparents, and the whole fucking world for ruining everything for her but for her mother's sake, she was keeping everything to her self.

The last week of July started on a positive note, her mother was finally able to buy a spacious barber shop, which after some remodeling and good designing would turn into a jewelry store. It even became a happy month, after finally being able to rent an apartment for themself, which they would soon call home once the renovation of their store started.

Her mother has always been an independent entrepreneur who with some cash started a jewelry brand, but this whole situation made her leave, her rightful place in her office and move to this town for peace. Leaving her second baby, her brand, in the hands of her best friend and assistant Ms. Hanna Abbey. With her hard-earned money, we were able to rent this huge ass apartment plus buy the shop. Not a single penny from her father or husband was needed, truly a badass woman.

If I could ever become even a ten percent copy of her mother would be enough thought Alina.

The positivity of the week couldn't last long as there was still the lingering pain and sadness. Soft sad moans were still heard from her mother's room at night, All the pillows were sinking under the heavy tears of mother and daughter, The moon was the only witness of the countless sleepless nights contemplating ending her own life of the once proud entrepreneur, stopping only for her daughter. While the daughter stayed in bed with tears in her big, beautiful, brown eyes looking at the pictures of family or best friends circle.

Life was hard to live for each of them and without even saying both were enduring it for each other.

The only hope present is the start of a new school year and the start of a new business.
