SYNOPSIS .ᐟ

      There is no weapon more insidious than the betrayal of a friend turned enemy, whose knowledge of your innermost thoughts and feelings becomes a strategic advantage in their quest to wound you.

      There was an unmatched thrill in having a friend who was always there, someone you could confide in and count on for support. This was the essence of Davina's friendship with Sam, until Sam's newfound popularity caused her to associate with people who made Davina's life a living hell.

      The degradation of being diminished and ridiculed by her bullies, now with Sam as their new-found friend, was a painful blow, but it paled in comparison to what she did last day of summer.

     The party thrown by Moon was the definitive turning point that ended their friendship and crystallized the animosity that had developed between them into a lasting feud.

      Davina was flooded with emotions upon seeing her best friend kiss her boyfriend.

      The depth of her sadness morphed into a familiar emotion, one that had long plagued her and left her drained: an intense and pervasive anger that seemed impossible to escape.

       And let's just say that Davina's anger combined with sadness was not a good combination for anyone within reach of her fists.
