When they arrive at the Duel Monsters lab, they met Rumi's group with a professor beside them. Rumi notices them and says, "Yuya? Serena? What are you guys doing here?"

"We've met the Principal of Academia, Samejima. And he wants us to come with him here."

Dr. Zweinstein says, "Ah, Samejima. I see that you have been freed from your prison."

Samejima says, "Doctor, we need to use the computers in the lab."

"Of course." Zweinstein says as he brings them into the lab. Hana says, "So I assume you managed to defeat Dr. Zweinstein in a duel as well?"

Condor says, "Rumi did."

Then they see Reiji and O'Brian holding an unconscious Barrett in their arms, and Ron asks, "That guy...is he also a member of Academia?"

"Yeah. He was actually the one leading the invasion in the Synchro Dimension." Yuya frowns, much to their surprise. "After that loss, the Professor puts a Parasite in his brain and Serena is the one who destroyed that."

"To think they would also do that as a punishment..." Rumi mutters, remembering how she has to save Ruri and Rin from the parasite as well.

"But don't you think carding him is easier than carrying him like that? I mean...Reiji seems to be tired." Rebecca says.

"Thanks for your concern, however, we can't let others know that we have the carding device." Reiji says.

"What are you guys doing here?" They also turn to see Mark, Gongenzaka, Tsukikage, Aki, Rin, and Battle Beast rushing toward them. Yuya says, "You guys are also here?"

Serena notices the BB and says, "Wait, isn't that one of Sanders' creations, the Battle Beast?"

Battle Beast notices Yuya and he is afraid, and Rin says, "Don't worry, Battle Beast. Yuya won't kill you, we promise."

"What? Why am I going to kill him?" Yuya asks in surprise.

Mark sighs, "The Professor has that Sanders tell him that if Sakaki Yuya is still alive out there, he will not survive. It's a good thing Yugo manages to calm him down."

Chrono says, "To think Sanders would be doing such a thing..."

Samejima says, "Now the link is on, Yuya, I want you guys to see this."

When they enter the lab, they see Samejima showing them the screen, and on the screen, there are 6 figures. Each of them looks like a human, but they are in 6 different colors: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. And only the blue one looks like a girl while the other 5 are looking like a boy.

"Wow! Look at how many people are there!" The purple figure yells in surprise.

"Who...who are you guys?" Gongenzaka asks.

"Sorry to startle you. But we are known as the Ignis." The female one says. "We are from a world known as the Cyberse World, and you can say we are AIs with free will."

"AIs with free will? How is that even possible?" Condor asks with surprise.

"We should probably introduce ourselves." The yellow one says, "My name is Lightning. I am known as the Light Ignis."

"Aqua, the Water Ignis." "Flame, the Fire Ignis." "Windy, the Wind Ignis." "Earth, the Earth Ignis." "And my name is Ai. The Dark Ignis."

"Wait, those six are the Attributes of the monsters..." Mark widens his eyes.

"But I thought you would be called something related to dark, but Ai?" Rin stares at the Dark Ignis.

"That's not important." Ai says. "But it is nice to see you again, Sakaki Yuya."

"Wait, Yuya, you have met them before?" Reiji asks.

"I didn't. But Zarc did." Yuya says. "Along with Zarine and Reisho. We've met them in the Duel Monsters' World."

"Yes. We are the ones who gave them the Pendants that you're holding, and your Dragon friends." Earth says in a blank tone.

"What do you think?" Ai says. "Do you like them?"

'That's enough, Ai." Flame says. "We're here because we know a way to stop the current enemy that you're fighting. The ones who are targetting the ultimate monster: Genesis Omega Dragon."

"Genesis Omega Dragon..." This causes Yuya and Vivian to mutter in surprise.

"Yes, since we are AIs, we have looked through all the possibilities to stop the upcoming threat." Windy replies.

"Seriously..." Serena asks.

"Yuya, you still have the Supreme King inside you, right?" Flame asks, and Yuya widens his eyes. "I don't know how to get rid of that..."

"We have a way to get rid of it, but to do so, sacrifices are needed to be made." Earth says.

"Sacrifices? What do you mean by that?" Hana asks.

"The reason why Zarc was stopped back then was because of the four cards: En Flowers, En Birds, En Winds, and En Moon. However, these cards not only manage to stop the rampage but also direct the soul of the Supreme King into two more people. In other words, Yuni and Yuzu."

"We know..." Yuya frowns. "Using those cards only put off the real problem. No doubt that the sinister 4 behind Akaba Leo would want our powers to wake up as well..."

"And to make the plan work, you will have to do it, along with your sister and Yuzu." Lightning says.

"Wait, you mean you want Yuya, Yuni, and Yuzu to be possessed by the Supreme King?" Mark asks. "Is that why you said sacrifices needed to be made?"

"Why would we agree to this plan?" Aki asks. "The whole plan is really absurd."

"That's why I said we shouldn't be working with humans." Lightning says.

"You're still going on with that?" Aqua yells at Lightning. "Do I need to remind you of what you have done in the past? You almost got us killed if it wasn't for Ai!"

"Geez, just calm down." Lightning sighs.

"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Yusho asks.

"Sorry, but Lightning did a grave mistake." Ai says. "But that's not a story for now. The thing is, the energy of the 4 En cards is also from this Duel Monster's World. Akaba Leo and Zarine used that energy to stop Zarc."

"So that means once Zarc, Zarine, and Ray go on a rampage right now, we will need to go into the Duel Monsters' world for the energies?" Vivian asks. "But what about the old En Cards?"

"The old En Cards were made into Pendants and the Dragons." Yuya says. "Rin, Serena, your Dragons."

The two of them show the Arctic Blizzard Synchro Dragon and Lunar Eclipse Fusion Dragon. And Arctic Blizzard Synchro Dragon is responding to the Pendant that Vivian is holding. "Wait, what's going on here?" Rin asks.

"Together with the Arctic Blizzard Synchro Dragon and the Pendant in Vivian's hand, they were once the bracelet that you wore." Yuya replies. "As for Serena's bracelet, it is responding to Rua's Pendant."

"I see. So basically the En Cards won't be a thing now that it has become Dragons and Pendants." Serena says.

"And that's why we need your help. When Zarc, Zarine, and Ray's Supreme Kings awake, we will need those with a strong bond with Duel Monsters to come to this Duel Monsters' World." Aqua says. "Vivian, Yusho, the two of you are chosen because of your bond."

"So it won't be only Pendant holders..." Yusho says.

"And when the time comes, I need others to guard the lab here, since this is the only way to go to the Duel Monster's World. If other forces accidentally destroy the base, then you won't be able to get out of the Duel Monsters' World."

"That sounds really dangerous." Rebecca gasps.

"And it won't be just them trapping in the Duel Monsters' World, the current world will also be doomed." Reiji says.

"So that's why we have a bigger mission at stake." Yuya says.

"But how were you guys created? Can you tell us about it?" Ryo asks.

"We were made by a professor in the Den City named Dr. Kogami back in the Original Dimension." Ai says.

"Wait, you don't mean that Den City, right?" Hana asks.

"You know that place?" Ron asks.

"Den City was in another country different from Miami, Heartland, and New Domino City. Instead of using Real Solid Vision, they decide to do duels in Link Virtual Reality Artificial Intelligence Network System, also known as LINK VRAINS." Hana says.

"Link Vrains?" Rumi asks.

"We have never been there before, but we heard that they have their own summoning method, their own duel formats, and they never disclose everything to other countries." Yuya frowns. "As Akaba Leo's assistants, we've tried to find anything about them, but we couldn't find anything."

Ai says, "We were created by forcing six children to participate in the human experiments." This causes the others to gasp in shock. "After we were created by sacrificing those six children, they also want to destroy us since they thought we would destroy humanity."

"And a certain Ignis here try to do what they want to destroy humanity, almost getting us killed." Flame says while glaring at Lightning.

"Okay...so basically Lightning was formerly evil. Is that what you want to tell us?" Vivian asks.

"I was just doing what I thought was right." Lightning says while turning away.

"Anyway, we are not here for fighting." Ai says. "I'm sure that Yusaku won't want us to fight again."

"Yusaku?" Serena asks.

"The person who Ai was based on." Flame says. "He is also known as Playmaker, and is Ai's partner, much like how you have Yubel or how Yuni has Astral."

"Okay..." Yuya says as he didn't remember them telling about this part of the history before. "So basically all of you are based on the children back in some sort of project, and they eventually become your partners?"

"Not mine since that guy controlled me to kill him." Windy says while glaring at Lightning.

"And I am with another person because my originator was sick." Aqua says.

"My originator just sided with the ones who tried to destroy us." Earth says.

"And that guy tries to control his originator to do bad things." Flame says.

"Okay...are we going to help those guys or are we just trying to do a contest of blaming me?" Lightning says with annoyance.

"I know you might have done something in the past, but you're different, right?" Yuya says to Lightning, much to his surprise. "We have a lot in common. I might have done a lot of mistakes in the past, but all it matters is to go forward to the future."

Lightning stares at Yuya before nodding, and Ai says, "Anyway, sorry that our conversation would be cut short here, but we'll be glad to see you return."

After that, the six figures disappear, and Jim says, "For some reason, I think everything is weird."

"Of course it is weird. But we will need to trust them if they are AIs with free wills." Reiji says.

"Now that our work is here, we should all try to continue what we're doing." Then they all split up as they go to their respective battlefields for the sake of the future.

Okay, here is a new chapter. In the previous Xyz Arc, I said that Ignis is going to be a main part of the story. Since there is no Pendulum Summon in the Vrains anime and vice versa with the Link Summon, I decide to make Yusaku's story happen at the same time as Zarc's timeline, only in different regions and cities. I hope you like it and we'll be going back to Yuni's group in the next chapter.
