The ship is about to arrive at everyone prepares their Duel Disks, once the ship lands, it is time for them to fight. After the ship lands, Yuya looks around and finds that Academia is quite empty.

"Strange...where are the other Academia members?" Yuni asks. "How come there aren't any enemies that come to greet us?"

Reisho says, "The population of Academia soldiers aren't that many as you think...with the decrease in numbers, I have to guess that they've decided to go with the defense instead of offense."

"So that means we'll be able to find them once we arrive at the locations." Yuya says. "Everyone. Best of luck."

Everyone nods as they start to split up. Yuya's group rushes into the main building of Academia, and they manage to arrive at the Main Classroom Hall.

"This is where we learn the basics or other subjects." Hana says, "The Main Classrooms."

When they decide to explore the place, they see a man standing in front of them in front of the conference hall. His usual outfit consists of the a more regal variation on the standard Obelisk Blue uniform, complete with gold trimmings and ruffled pink collar, shoulders, upper chest, and sleeves. His blonde hair is sectioned in two layers, with the layer furthest from his face tightly bound in a ponytail, and he also wears crescent-shaped earrings.

"Chronos-sensei!" Hana gasps.

"Sensei? He is one of the teachers I assume?" Reiji asks.

"He is the Head Teacher of the Obelisk Dorm." Hana says.

"What do we have here." Chronos says while looking at the group. "Signorina Hana. Even you have joined the side of those Lancers. Such a shame, you are a talented student, someone like you is needed for our Utopia."

"A world created by destroying innocent lives is not a Utopia. I was one of the victims until the Lancers saved me!" Hana says. "I have no intention to return."

Chronos sighed in disappointment. "You have been poisoned by them. It is a shame. The least I can do is to defeat you by my own hands!" Chronos activated his Duel Disk.

Hana says, "Guys, leave him to me. I will deal with him."

The others nod as Hana activates her Duel Disk, and the Field Magic Crossover appears on the field.

"It's a shame that it comes to this, Signorina Hana. Very well. I shall give you a personal lecture." Chrono says. "Duel!" (Chronos:4000)(Hana:4000)

As they start the duel, Vivian turns to Yuya, "Brother Yuya, I assume he is also one of the teachers from the original past?"

"Yes, Chronos de Medici, what I knew about him is that he usually calls those from Osiris Red Osiris Slackers, especially Yuki Judai, the one who I inherited the deck from.

Hana says, "Come to think of it, the last time I dueled Sensei is back at the Entrance Exam, right?"

After the monster appears, Reiji asks, "So he uses the Antique Gear deck as well..."

Yusho says, "I heard from my students, Antique Gear Decks are Honored Student Decks. If my hypothesis is correct, he might be the one who distributed the decks to the students who destroyed Standard, Synchro, and Xyz..."

"So that means he's more skilled in this deck than the other students..." Vivian says.

"I set one card and end my turn." Chornos says.

Hana says, "My turn! I use Magic Card: Fusion! I fuse Fusion. I fuse my Garden Maid: Ivy and Garden Maid: Violet from my hand. Shine in the green fields and approach the flowers of beauty. Appear with the sweet scent that attracts everything. Fusion Summon! Come forth! Garden Maid: Ruby Rose." (ATK:3000/DEF:2500 LV:8)

A Maid with roses that shines like ruby appears on the field with a smile. Chorno says, "I see, you still summon your Ruby Rose."

"Ruby Rose is my favorite Monster, and I'll use it to my victory! Ruby Rose! Attack Antique Gear Soldier! When Ruby Rose attacks a Monster in defense mode, it can give piercing damage!"

Chronos braces for the attack and he takes damage. (Chronos:4000-2300)

"1700 damage straight off the bat." Yuya smiles.

"Continuous Trap! Unfinished Time Box! When a Monster on your side of the field is destroyed, it can be activated!" Chronos says.

"What's that?" Hana gasps.

"As long as this trap card is on the field, I can banish the attacking monster." Just then, the box glows as Ruby Rose is banished.

"And then I draw a card." Chrono says.

"Then I set the Scale 8 Garden Maid: Rhododendron in my Pendulum Zone and end my turn." Hana says.

"Hmph. Pendulum Summon's advantage is you can Summon multiple Monsters with different Levels at the same time depending on the Pendulum Scales. However, only one scale isn't going to help you. I'll show you something worthwhile. My turn!"

After drawing a card, he says, "Continuous Magic: Antique Gear Fortress! While this card is on the field, Antique Gear monsters that I normal or special summon won't be targeted or destroyed by card effects. And it will also prevent my opponent to activate any card effects in response to the activation of any Antique Gear card."

"What?" Hana is confused.

"Furthermore, I activate Magic Card: Antique Gear Archeology! I have one card in my graveyard, so I can draw one more card." Chronos draws two more cards and smiles.

"Since I have no monsters from my field, I activate Magic Card: Antique Gear Catapult! When I don't control any monsters, Antique Gear Catapult can destroy a face-up card I control. So I destroy Antique Gear Fortress." Chrono says.

After the card is gone, Yuya asks, "He destroys his own Continuous Magic?"

"There is some sort of strategy, isn't it?" Vivian asks.

"By destroying a card with Antique Gear Catapult, I can Special Summon Antique Gear Gadget from my hand!" (ATK:500/DEF:2000 LV:4)

After a gear monster appears, Chronos continues, "And when Antique Gear Fortress is destroyed, I can Special Summon Antique Gear monster from my hand or graveyard, I summon back Antique Gear Soldier from my graveyard."

After the monster is back, Vivian says, "That soldier is back..."

"When Antique Gear Wyvern is summoned, I can add any Antique Gear aside from this card to my hand from my deck!" Chrono says while taking a card. "Antique Gear Gadget can be treated as a Gadget monster once per turn. I take the Antique Gear Gadget, now being treated as Red Gadget, and release it with my Antique Gear Soldier to perform an Advance Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Antique Gear Reactor Dragon! (ATK:3000/DEF:3000 LV:9)

After the dragon appears on the field, Hana says, "I use Dhododendron's Pendulum Effect! Once per turn, when my opponent summons a monster, I can special summon monsters whose levels are equal to that Reactor Dragon's Level, which is 9. I Summon Garden Maid: Bittervine (ATK:3000/DEF:2500 LV:8 PS:9) and Garden Maid: Floppers! (ATK:100/DEF:1000 LV:1)

After two monsters appear, Chronos says, "Pointless struggle. Battle! I attack Bittervine with Reactor Dragon!"

Hana says, "I activate Bittervine's Monster effect! When this card is targeted for battle, your monster loses 1000 ATK while this monster gains that loss ATK!"

"You're too naive! When Reactor Dragon attacks, until the Damage Step ends, my opponent can't activate monster effects, Magic, or Trap Cards." Chronos says.

Hana widens her eyes in shock as Bittervine is destroyed. Vivian says, "That means even Action Cards can't be used as well..."

"When Reactor Dragon was Advanced summon by releasing a Gadget Monster, it can attack twice per battle phase!" Chronos says.

"What?" This causes everyone to gasp in shock.

"And when Reactor Dragon was Advanced Summon by releasing an Antique Gear Monster when it attacks a Defense Position Monster, it can give piercing damage!" Chronos says.

Hana tries to run and grabs an Action Card, and she manages to get it, but she takes damage from the attack. (Hana:4000-2000)

"When Flopper is destroyed, I can Special Summon another one from my deck." Hana says as the second Flopper appears from the ashes of the first one.

"I set one card and end my turn." Chronos says.

"You really are the best teacher." Hana says while standing back up, much to Chronos' surprise. "You can show a traitor like me such an awesome combo..."

"Is Hana enjoying the duel?" Vivian asks with surprise.

"Now let's go!" After drawing a card, he says, "I set the Scale 1 Garden Maid: Tulip in my other Pendulum Zone!"

After the Monster appears, Hana says, "With this, I can Summon Monsters from Level 2 to 8! Pendulum Summon! Come forth! Garden Maid: Violet! (ATK:1200/DEF:1300 LV:3)

After the monster appears, Hana raises her hand and says, "I use Violet's effect! I can perform a Fusion Summon without the use of the Fusion Card! I fuse Violet and Floppers! Darkness from the flowers, come from the fusion of fairies so it gains immense power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Garden Maid Purple Orchard." (ATK:3000/DEF:2500 LV:8)

After Purple Orchard appears, Hana says, "I'm not finished yet. When Floppers is sent to the graveyard, I can Special summon another one from my deck!"

After the monster appears on the field, she says, "I use Tulip's Pendulum Effect! I can perform a Fusion Summon using Monsters on the field or hand as materials! I fuse Bittervine and Floppers! Come! My second Purple Orchard!"

After the second Orchard appears on the field, Hana says, "The only problem on this field is the Reactor Dragon...I have to do this. Battle! I attack Antique Gear Reactor Dragon with Purple Orchard!"

Chronos says, "Very clever. Trying for a draw."

Then after both Monsters are destroyed, Reiji says, "Because of the effect of Reactor Dragon, Purple Orchard can't negate its destruction..."

"But then Chronos' field is empty." Yusho says.

"Trap Card: Unfinished Antique Gear! I can Special Summon an Antique Gear Monster from my hand in Defense Position, its' ATK and DEF are halved, and it can't be destroyed by battle this turn. I Summon Antique Gear Golem!" (ATK:3000-1500/DEF:3000-1500 LV:8)

"Antique Gear Golem..." Yuya sweatdrops. "So he does have that card..."

Hana says, "I set one card and end my turn."

Chronos looks at his card and seems to be in deep thought, and Hana asks, "Chronos' sensei. What's wrong?"

Tears form in his eyes and he says, "When I heard that a lot of my favorite students are going to betray Academia, I was also wondering if I should do the same thing. However, as a teacher whose duty is inside this school, things are getting harder..."

"Sensei..." Hana mutters.

"So it means that you didn't agree with Arc Area Project, is that right?" Yusho asks.

Chronos sighs and says, "Using our favorite students and brainwashing them into mindless duel machines, this is already far from what the school used to be. Especially since my favorite ones, Signor Yuri, Signorina Sona, Signorina Asuka, Signor Ryo... and the others betrayed Academia, loneliness is the only thing in this place."

Yuya thinks, "So Yuri and the others might have done something similar to Yuki Judai in the past, just like Yuto and Yugo..."

"I definitely will try to bring you guys back by winning this duel!" Chronos yells. "My turn!"

After drawing a card, he says, "I activate the Magic Card: Antique Gear Garage! I can add one Antique Gear Monster from my graveyard to my hand. I choose Antique Gear Reactor Dragon!"

After getting the card back, he says, "I use Magic Card: Fusion! I Fuse Antique Gear Golem on my field with Reactor Dragon and Wyvern on my hand!"

"Here it comes..." Yuya says.

"Let me show you what's coming! Ancient Giant! Dragon raised in the sky! Dragon shining in the depths! Become one now and demonstrate your tremendous power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Ancient Gear Ultimate Golem! (ATK:4400/DEF:3400 LV:10)"

After the card appears, Vivian says, "4400 ATK..."

"Be prepared! Ultimate Golem! Attack Purple Orchard!" Chronos yells.

Hana is hit by the attack as she flies to the ground. (Hana:2000-600)

"Hana!" Everyone yells in shock.

"When Purple Orchard is destroyed, I can Special Summon its materials back to the field...I summon back Bittervine and Flopper..."

After two Monsters appear on the field, Chronos says, "I end my turn."

Hana says, "At this moment, I use Trap Card: Draw of the Flowers, when the monster I draw is a Monster Card, I can draw another card."

After drawing a card, she smiles, "I draw Garden Maid Beggarticks! A Monster card, so I can draw one more card!"

After drawing a card, Hana says, "Chrono's sensei. It is not too late to betray Academia and come with us. I know you have duties in Academia that you have to do, but Professor Leo is not the same Professor Leo that I knew in the past. He is being blinded and we will need your help as well."

"Signorina Hana..." Chronos mutters.

"I use Magic Card: Garden Maid's Rain! By sending Beggarticks, Bittervine, and Floppers to the graveyard, I can destroy one monster and a trap card on the field. I destroy Ultimate Golem and the Trap Card: Unfinished Time Box!"

After the cards are destroyed, Ruby Rose is back on the field. Chronos says, "When Antique Gear Ultimate Golem is destroyed, I can special summon one Antique Gear Monster from my graveyard!

After the Antique Gear Golem appears, Hana says, "Antique Gear Golem...however, sorry, sensei. I intend to finish this duel. I use Action Magic: High Dive! My Monster gains 1000 ATK!" (ATK:3000-4000)

After the monster raises its ATK, Chronos remembers how Hana also defeats him with the same trick back in the Entrance Exam. Chronos says, "I've got it. The bitterness of having to separate from everyone, I, as a teacher, have learned many things from them. I have been struggling in this new Academia for 3 years. As a teacher, I must keep taking a new step."

"Ruby Rose! Attack Antique Gear Golem!" Hana yells. "Rose Wind!" (Chronos:2300-1300)

After the attack hits, Hana says, "When Ruby Rose destroys a Monster in the ATK mode, it can deal damage equal to the destroyed monster's ATK to the opponent."

"This is..." Yuya is surprised to see how the scene feels familiar, and Chronos just kneels on the ground. (Chronos:1300-0)

After the duel ends, Hana walks toward Chronos and says, "Sensei. We are also saving students and teachers from Academia. And it is not late to join us."

Chronos looks at Hana and the group behind her, he says, "Very well. Follow me. I'll show you the reason I couldn't leave Academia."

Yuya and the others nod as they follow Chronos, not knowing where he's going to take them.

Here is a new chapter, as you can see, I decide to bring Chronos back to the story, and since Yuri isn't evil, so I decide to use that ARC-V Episode 123 duel in this chapter with a mix of the GX Episode 167. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be Yuni's group.
