Months later, Abagail and Sam still get along great.  Now, they take turns with the swing, and perch, and toys.  This is nice to see them adjust so well to each over more and more each day, week, and month that goes by for them.
   At some point, Abagail has an egg, and its owner checks to see if the egg is fertile or not.  The young lady shines a flashlight into the egg, but it is empty. There is just a yellow yoke inside. To bad for the birds this is a sad day, no bird babies today.  Perhaps, some other time.
    Abagail has eggs for a few weeks straight with no success.  They are all nothing, but solid yoke filled eggs again.   What does the female bird expect to have a baby bird on the first try?
    Several weeks go by and she has no eggs. It seems she has given up for the moment. 

   It is okay, the owner thinks there will be a baby bird at some point. She is just sure that will be one.
     Abagail goes back and forth a lot from having birdless eggs to no eggs a lot.  She keeps this on for many months. Does she ever have a fertile egg?  What do you think?
