After rescuing the twins, we went back to the hotel to serve some more drinks. I was pouring in the alcohol while Husk was on washing duty (for once).

While I was pouring a glass for Alastor, he grabbed my wrist firmly but also gently. Like he didn't wanna hurt me. I was too afraid to move so I stood there.

Husk noticed his move and gave him a glare. "Let her go." He said sternly as Alastor put his other hand up in surrender. "Relax, I'm not gonna hurt her." Alastor replied as Husk kept his eye on him.

I relaxed a bit as Alastor slowly let go of my hand. "I wanted to apologize for my behavior early." He said as I leaned in to listen to him. "I never shouldn't have made a threat. Especially to a woman like you. You may not see it but you mean a lot to Husker right here and I think I'd be in trouble if I harmed you."

He's got a point. Husk was still giving him an evil stare. I giggled a bit. "I'm sorry too. I was just concerned for my friend is all." I said as Alastor nodded in agreement.

"Now if you'd excuse me, I must tend to my girlfriend." Alastor said as he took his drink and repaid me with some cash. Once he left, I felt strong hands holding me. I giggled again. "Was someone jealous?"

"More like territorial." Husk replied as I held his arms as well. "Wanna call it a night baby?" I said as I felt a butterfly kiss on my cheek. "My eyes are getting tired. Let's rest you and I."

"Cheap booze right?"

"Let's not wake the whole house."
