There was once a boy called Tom, who hated all the homework he got from his teachers at school. He hated English especially; he couldn't see how it could help him in later life when he grew up. Tom preferred to spend his free time on his Playstation.

So Tom stopped doing homework. He did no homework for a whole term. He didn't do History, he didn't do Maths, or Science, or Geography, or anything else and especially not English.

First he got a lunchtime detention, but this didn't make him want to do his homework. Next he got an after school detention. Still he refused to do his homework

Finally Tom got expelled from school, and put in a different school with no friends. He had to catch the bus to his new school, which was in a town Thirty miles away. He had to get up at 6:30 a.m. and had to get on the bus at 7:30 a.m. Tom did not arrive home until 5pm and had much less spare time.

So the moral of this story is to always do your homework when you are given it and do leisure activities such as playing on your Playstation once you have finished your homework.
