He finally met her eyes, which were filled with sympathy, and hell-bent determination. And they sparkled just like.... The stars? No...... Stardust.

Cassian snapped out of his trance, as did Jyn, who slowly backed away. "We have to get the plans," Jyn whispered.

The empire is going to pay. I'm not walking away from this and doing nothing about it. Cassian decided what to do.

"You grab the plans while I get.... K2's memory chip." Jyn's face immediately lost it's sympathy and became all determination. "What about you?"

Cassian turned, "What about me?" "There are stormtroopers out there who's going to watch your back?" "Look Jyn, it'll only take a minute." He gave her one of his rare smiles," I've been in this fight since I was six years old."  Jyn was undeterred, "That's what I'm worried about."

Cassian shot the controls, and the door unlocked. Jyn decided to watch him, because the chances of no stormtroopers coming were less than one percent. Slowly, she climbed out and immediately blaster shots echoed throughout the room, one nearly hitting her in the shoulder, and shot the window behind it, shattering the glass.

Aiming, Jyn shot a stormtrooper in the chest, and ran into the fray. Hiding behind the console, Jyn avoided looking at K2's mangled Droid figure and focused on shooting.

Cassian dragged K2 behind the master console, and opened the memory hatch, searching for the right slot. A bad-aimed shot hit him in the leg and he fired back, hitting stormtrooper after stormtrooper. He doing the chip and put it in his front pocket, deep down he wished Jyn wasn't here. He felt that he would have to say good bye to her before he could..... Stop it. He told himself. You have a mission.
