As I stand here, full of awe and wonder
I look upon thee so full of grace and prestige
You alone are the one that my soul longs to find
With your ever careful steps treading so light
Upon the footpaths in the hills below
Your long and luxurious tail streams behind you
In the midsummer night's breeze
You alone are the one thing my soul yearns to find
Not to capture or to prey, but to gaze and adore and marvel your beautiful frame
For you are a thing of beauty and mystery, nothing on earth could ever contain you
Though man has tried so long and hard, but yet you evade
With a stride of glorious power you leave behind in your wake,
Those who have tried and still yet fail.
So I stand here and marvel at the equine wonder in which God created
