Adam's POV (cause why not?)

It had been a few hours since we saw Nick.

But him a bloodsucker? How did we not notice?

"We need a plan," Maryssa mumbled.

"But what?" Uni asked.

Maryssa looked at Uni, confused. "Did that dog just talk?"

Cory nodded. "It's a long story from what I recall."

"But what is the plan? There are no vents in the area, and no guards near," Dawn explained, scanning the area.

"There's gotta be something!" I exclaimed, banging against the bars once.

"I don't want to work with them again..." Christina whispered, hugging her knees.

"Don't think anyone would want to kid," Maryssa stated, hugging her.

"What if when Cory and Christina are out, they can get us out?" Uni said.

"That could-" "They'll give us bodyguards," Christina blurted, interrupting me.

"Then what do you propose?" Maryssa asked, looking at her.

"I've been here for 10 years, I know this place inside and out."

"Ten years!" Uni shouted.

She nodded. "The only escapes are the front gates, the back gates, and Boss' office."

"Why would he have an escape in his office?" I asked.

She shrugged in response.

There was a moment of silence, all of us planning.

The lights started flickering a bit, me groaning in response.

"Someone really needs to fix the generators," Uni stated, Cory nodding.

"That's it!" Christina shouted, shooting up.

Christina's POV

"The generators! How could I have been so blind?!"

Everyone stared at me confused, but Cory knew what I ways thinking by the looks in his eye.

"What? By the looks on your faces you have an idea, and man do I like that look!" Adam asked.

I nodded.

"There are 8 areas, or 'quadrants' in the Enclave base," I started.

"Continue kid," Maryssa said, a grin forming on her face.

"The generators we fixed are located in quadrant 3 if I'm correct?" Cory asked, I nodded back.

"But, how is the building formed?" Dawn asked.

"Quadrants 1, 2, 3, and 4 are in the middle, like a square," I explained, making a square out of my hands.

"Where are the other four then?" Maryssa asked.

"Quadrant 5 is located around the corner of quadrant 3, near where me and Cory slept."

"Quadrant 6 is across from quadrant 1, where the cells are located."

"Aka, us," Uni stated, everyone chuckling at his joke.

"7 is next to 6, then leaving 8, Boss' office."

"And where would that be?" Adam asked.

"Connected to 5, down the hall pretty much," I finished explaining.

"Where would Nick be located? If we're gonna get out of here, everyone is coming," Cory asked.

I started thinking, remembering all the classes I took.

"Quadrant 3, near the generators."

"That may be a problem though," I said, stopping anyone from talking.

"How's that?" Uni asked.

"My plan was to explode or damage the generator a very significant amount that would catch all the guards attention."

"Cause then we'll be caught," Maryssa finished.

"Wait!" Cory exclaimed.

"What?" Adam asked.

"Isn't there a second generator, a back up?"

I gasped.

"Yes! Perfect! That one is located in 6!"

"And that's far enough for us to get Nick!" Uni exclaimed.

"But, how are you going to damage it without your 'bodyguards' noticing?" Dawn asked.

"We could sneak out through the vents while it's night," Cory answered.

"That settles it, huh?"

"Yep Adam, guess we gotta work for them one last time?"

I nodded, a smile on my face.
