Gajeel P.O.V

She sighed and closed her book before looking back up at me."So what if I am Mr.Redfox?" Back to the Mr.

"What do you mean so what? How can you protect yourself? How can you fight? How can-" she held up her hand, cutting me off.

"You may be my partner, but I have only known you for 24 hours. I do not feel like sharing all my secrets. You can ask one question and I will answer it. I will not go in to detail, but I can thank the Justice System for my eyes." She spat the words 'Justice System' like they were bile.

I knew the Justice System well. Anyone in the criminal world did. They called themselves Crime Socier(can't spell my bad). They went around all of Fiore "cleansing" it of all mafia and gang alike. So she got caught by them huh?

"Alright. How can you fight without your eyes?"

She smiled and taped her red glasses."An ally of ours, Blue Pegasus, made these. They have Hibiki, a technical genius. These glasses send of high frequency waves that bounce off objects, kind of like bat sonar. It let's me see the basic shapes of things but that's it. No color, no details. I see everything like a computerized graph. Like you. I can see your very tall, long hair and I can see the outlines off your eyes, mouth and your nose. Plus whatever these are." She motioned at the piercings on my face.

"It's not like having my sight back, but it makes things easier. With these, plus my advanced hearing, I'm in a league of my own." I would have called that snarky if it wasn't true. The loss of sight improved her hearing, and now she can see for the most part plus that.... She was incredible.

Just then the waiter brought our food and we ate. Millions of things were running through my head. I watched her as I ate. She soon finished and stood. "Thanks for dinner. I'm going to head home." I was about to ask if she wanted some help when she held up her hand. "No I dont." She smiled.

"You know that's creepy when you read peoples minds." She giggled. "I'll see you tomorrow." And with that she left.

Levy P.O.V

(A/N: Levy can not see in detail but for you I will write with some detail.)

I walked down the quiet streets, it was well past midnight. Gajeel was definatly a character, he was an ass but he seemed like he might have a kinder side. I sighed and as I walked up to the closed bookstore.

I lived alone in the studio apartment above it. Well, maybe not alone. I walked up the stairs and opened the door. "Lily!!" I called. I heard a jingling of a bell coming from the kitchen area.

I saw the shape of my small cat running at me. I held out my arms as he jumped at me. I caught him and hugged him,"Theres my boy!" I smiled as I carried him towards my bed, stepping over books and what all over my floor.

I set him on the bed as I got changed and took my glasses off. Everything was black, but that's ok. After ten years you get used to it. I made my way to the bathroom to brush my hair. I had my apartment memorized and I never moved anything so I never tripped on anything except Lily when he got under my feet.

I brushed my teeth and hair before feeding Lily. Once he was taken care of I went to my bed and curled up and fell fast asleep.
